This one-of-a-kind felted camera case felted bag was designed and created in Portland, OR by the Duchess of Felt: LeBrie Rich. The bag is made of 100% merino wool and is hand-felted. It is seamless felt which means that by using a plastic resist, the bag and the pocket are sculpted into the design (no sewing is involved). The flower design is wet felted along with the bag. It is hand-dyed fiber that has some silk in it, so it has a nice shimmer to it. The back of the bag is without a pocket and is plain green.

14 " long, the top opening is 11.5" wide. It has a hidden snap closure at the top.

How it is made:

1. I dyed the fiber delectable colors.
2. Layed out the fiber in the shape of a watch.
3. Wet felted the watch using hot soapy water, and agitating the piece with my hands so the fiber matts together.
4. Fulled the watch by rolling it with very hot water--- this makes it shrink and become very durable.
5. Needle felted on the numbers... it takes a little time but makes for such nice detail.
5. Attached a most sassy pearly purple snap.

Size: medium. The watch fits most women's wrists (except for the most dainty) and smallish men's wrists. Since the wool is a bit stretchy there is a little wiggle room in the sizing.
Overall length: 7 3/4 inches (20 cm)
Length from snap to snap: 6 3/4 inches (17.5 cm)

Plaid cuffs start out as a pile of wool with crisscrossing colors. The pile is wet-felted into a dense piece of plaid felt, which is then cut into wristwear-sized strips. I machine stitched the edge with heavy-duty thread, and finish with a metal snap in a sassy color.

It's made using a unique felting process that produces an intentionally holey textile--no scissors or knitting is involved. It is lightweight and durable: the perfect combination for everyday wearability.

I hand-dyed the fiber. The scarf is 2 hues of burgundy used alteranately... the result is a wine-colored textile with luscious variation. Though it's holey, the scarf is quite warm and very soft.

I've had a life-long love affair with wildflowers: the design of my felted flowers reflect the botany of my favorites. As in nature, each felted flower is exquisite and unique.

I make flowers in two sizes, this is the larger of the two. She is about 3" (7.6cm) across.

This particular flower has moss green petals with strips of sparkly lace felted into in them. The petals also have some magenta-ish merino wool highlights. This clip can be worn in your hair or clipped onto your lapel... or anywhere that needs a spot of color.

Size large. Cuff measures 7.5cm x 24cm. The length from button to hole is 22cm. It is comfortable for anyone with a 19cm-23cm wrist circumference.

This one-of-a-kind Nuno Felt Scarf was designed and created in Portland, OR by the Duchess of Felt: LeBrie Rich. Nuno Felt is a process by which wool is felted into very sheer fabric (silk chiffon or cotton gauze). The result is a marvelously delicate scarf.

This nuno felt scarf is hand-dyed apple green and aqua merino wool felted into a piece of upcycled cotton sari fabric. The scarflette has a different color on each side, so you can wear it many ways depending on your mood.

The scarflette is held together by the pink flower pin pictured. You can trade the pink flower pin for a different colored small flower pin in my shop if you are not a lover of the pinkness. Does it go without saying that the flower pin can be worn separate from the scarflette in innumerable ways of cuteness?

This one-of-a-kind felted flower brooch was designed and created in Portland, OR by the Duchess of Felt: LeBrie Rich. The flower pin is dyed and felted by hand from merino wool. It's securely backed with a bar pin.

I've had a life-long love affair with wildflowers: the design of my felted flowers reflect the botany of my favorites. As in nature, each felted flower is exquisite and unique.

I make flowers in two sizes, this is the larger of the two. She is about 3" across.

This particular flower has pretty pink petals that have a bit of silk in them, so they are a little shimmery. Imbedded in the petals are strips of upcycled red chiffon scarf with tiny white dots. The backside of the petals are salmon, giving nice contrast.

This one-of-a-kind felted scarf was designed and created in Portland, OR by the Duchess of Felt: LeBrie Rich. The teal scarf is wet felted out of Blueface Leicster wool. It's made using a unique felting process that produces an intentionally holey textile--no scissors or knitting is involved. It is lightweight and durable: the perfect combination for everyday wearability.

The hand-dyed teal fiber has lovely variation. One side of the scarf has pink and mauve circles scattered over it (the mauve fiber has silk in it... shiny! yum!). It is lovely and asymmetrical and though it's holey, the scarf is quite warm! Blueface Leicster wool is very soft. This scarf will not make your neck itchy.

1 1/4 inches (3cm) wide, and 8 inches (20.5 cm) long.

This one-of-a-kind Nuno Felt Scarf was designed and created in Portland, OR by the Duchess of Felt: LeBrie Rich. Nuno Felt, also called Laminated Felt, is a process by which wool is felted into very sheer fabric (silk chiffon or cotton gauze). The result is a marvelously delicate scarf.

This nuno felt scarf is hand-dyed blue merino wool felted into upcycled cotton sari fabric from India. The pink fiber in it is 70% merino and 30% silk... a little shimmery and quite lovely.

This particular scarf has a fabulous 3-dimensional quality to it. I felted a piece glittery blue nylon into the scarf in such a way that the bumps stick out when worn. It is an involved and time consuming process, but I am so excited about the result. The scarf is hand-felted using the wet felting technique.. no knitting or sewing is involved.

This one-of-a-kind felted camera case was designed and created in Portland, OR by the Duchess of Felt: LeBrie Rich. The digital camera case is hand-felted with merino wool fiber dyed in-house. The case is styled to look like an abstracted digital camera.

How it is made:

1. I dyed the fiber delectable colors.
2. Layed out the fiber with all the designs in place.
3. Wet felted the case by using hot soapy water, and agitating the piece with my hands so the fiber matts together.
4. Fulled the case by rolling it with very hot water--- this makes it shrink and become very durable.
5. Attached the banana yellow metal snaps.

The inside dimensions of the case: 3 3/4" x 2 1/2" x 1" (7.6 x 5 x 2.5 cm). It snugly fits my Olympus 740, and will fit most small digi-cams nicely.

Whip out a ruler and measure your camera to see if it will fit.

This cuff is considered a second because it has been on consignment at a shop for a while and the button hole is a little stretched out. It is not "used" and it is made with really good craftsmanship---it will last for a long time.

Cozy cuff is hand-felted from merino wool dyed by me. It is primarily red orange with blue flaps felted onto it. The blue parts are wet-felted onto the red using a special resist method--- there is no sewing involved in that part.

Size medium. Cuff measures 2 1/2" (6.4cm) x 7" (18cm). The length from button to hole is 6.5 inches (16.5 cm).

This is warm and soft wristwear! The closure is a spunky baby blue felted ball sewn onto the cuff, and a button hole cut at the other end.

Frill Nuno Felt Scarf with Free Shipping

This one-of-a-kind felted camera case was designed and created in Portland, OR by the Duchess of Felt: LeBrie Rich. The Nuno Scarf would be a great holiday gift for a stylish woman.

Nuno Felting is a process by which wool fiber is felted into sheer woven cloth (chiffon or cotton gauze). The cloth is sandwiched between thin layers of wool fiber and then the scarf is felted with hot water and soap. As the scarf is felted, the fiber migrates through the fabric and then shrinks. The result is a lovely crinkled texture.

Nuno Felt scarves are light and delicate, yet durable due to the structure of the woven fabric within. They are made for everyday use, and will age beautifully.

PenFelt Nuno Scarves are made with upcycled fabrics from thrift stores. Garments are thoroughly laundered and then deconstructed to create yardage to felt into.

This particular scarf is made of hand-dyed purple and lime green fiber and grey cotton fabric. The fiber is 70% merino wool and 30% silk, so it has gorgeous luster. The scarf features an asymmetrical frill in the form of woven cotton gauze. The cotton frill is layed onto the scarf at the time of felting and the fibers migrate through to hold it on. As the fiber shrinks, the frill gets a fabulous bunched texture.

This cozy cuff is hand-felted from merino wool dyed by me. It is primarily lime green with lavender flaps felted onto it. The fiber has silk in it, so there is a lovely shimmery texture to it. The lavender parts are wet-felted onto the lime green using a special resist method--- there is no sewing involved in that part.

Size medium. Cuff measures 7cm x 21cm. The length from button to hole is 19cm. It is comfortable for anyone with a 16cm-20cm wrist circumference.

PenFelt cuffs are made of super soft hand-dyed merino wool. They spark delight each time you catch a glimpse of your wrist!

Plaid cuffs start out as a pile of wool with crisscrossing colors. The pile is wet-felted into a dense piece of plaid felt, which is then cut into wristwear-sized strips. I machine stitched the edge with heavy-duty thread, and finish with a metal snap in a sassy color.

These cuffs are great gifts for new moms (no choking hazard), stylish dudes (unisex!!) and Scottish people (goes great with a kilt).

This listing is for the orange cuff in the first photo.
1 1/2 inches (3.5cm) wide, and 8 1/4 inches (21 cm) long.

There are two snaps at the end, so it this cuff fits both a small and a large wrist. Measurement from snap to snap is 6 1/4 or 7 1/4 inches (16 or 18.5cm).

This 2-D flower simulates the lovely smooshed effect of a pressed flower.

It's felted using the wet felting techinique with wool. I dyed the fiber myself with acid dyes.

I've had a life-long love affair with wildflowers: the design of my felted flowers reflect the botany of my favorites. This Indian Blanket is based on a photograph I took of a field of these flowers.

As in nature, each felted flower is exquisite and unique. Your flower will be the same design and color palette as the one shown, with some variation.

They're backed with a bar pin---the image shown is an example of how the pin is mounted on a different flower, but the technique is the same.

Upcycled Plastic Bag American Flag

This giant American Flag is made of ironed-together plastic grocery bags. It was made by LeBrie Rich and Bill Will for an installation called "New Economy" in 2007. In the installation the flag was inflatable controlled by a coin-op mechanism connected to a squirrel cage fan hidden in a pedestal. Viewers put in a quarter and the flag inflated and lifted off the wall for about 20 seconds.

This listing is for the flag as a wall piece only. If you'd like to have the pedestal with coin-op, convo me and we'll iron out the details (pun intended).

Flag hangs from the wall from two grommets.

This lil digital camera case is hand-felted with merino wool that I dyed myself. It is styled to look like an abstracted digital camera.
How it is made:

1. I dyed the fiber delectable colors.
2. Layed out the fiber with all the designs in place.
3. Wet felted the case by using hot soapy water, and agitating the piece with my hands so the fiber matts together.
4. Fulled the case by rolling it with very hot water--- this makes it shrink and become very durable.
5. Attached candy red and orange metal snaps.

The inside dimensions of the case: 4" x 3" x 1.5" (10 x 7.5 x 4 cm).

Whip out a ruler and measure your camera to see if it will fit.
