Coffee Cozy - Gnome Forest

It's a coffee cozy, it's a piece of art for your cup and hands AND it's a map to Gnome Forest. Just follow along downstream. Don't be distracted by all the animal tracks zipping hither and yon. Keep going until you reach Cathedral Grove (don't worry, you can't miss it, magestic redwoods and all) follow the deer trail to the left. The next little grove? THAT's gnome forest. Set out a picnic, and sit quietly to receive your red capped visitors.

My coffee cozies:
Will keep your hands comfortable, while gripping a hot or cold beverage. Store it in your desk, bag, or pocket till you arrive at the coffee/tea shop, then whip that puppy on your paper cup and enjoy!

Never use a cardboard cuff again!

Fits regular sized coffee shop paper cups, and pint glasses.

Remember, these are handmade, so fabric placement varies. The gnome comes in two poses, standing or sitting on mushroom. If you have a preference, let me know and I'll see what's in stock.

Coasters - Pirate Tableware

Where else have ya seen pirate tableware? I got to thinkin'... what would lady pirates set their table with? Certainly, they would have some down time at sea, occasional marronings, or boring time with nothing but blue ocean on the horizon.... they would have done some piratical crafting. Fixin' up the the galley with some traditional crossbones and such.

Here's what what I have for you: two pirate coasters in pink and blue. Made of recycled wool sweaters, felted, add some wool roving needle-felted on, and a big dose of rustic embroidery. Yes, they are actually flat when you get them off the fence from the photo session. They are naturally water proof, which makes for great coasters, and they look splendid pegged on the galley wall. I've read several books about women pirates. Really fascinating! The trouble for historians is lack of real documentation on these wild women. They often passed as men to survive life at sea. Some caught women pirates were used as examples by the government, who made up a history worse in crimes than anyone could possibly accomplish in one lifetime. Or their lives weren't documented at all. Most of what we "know" about female pirates is pure fantasy. Have a little fun with it!
