This little bag is made from a vintage curtain and some heather-brown wool or wool blend slacks, with a bit of vintage hem tape appliqued on the outside for good measure. Inside, there's a little denim pocket for your keys or cell phone. The straps are crafted from some fabric belts, and are adjustable to be worn as high or low on your hip as you like.

Dimensions are 7.5" across by 10.5" long, with a 21" drop on the strap (but remember, it's adjustable).

The outside is a repurposed sweater, and the interior used to be a window valance - the combination is too cute! The strap is created from a fabric strap.

Dimensions are 8.5x11", with a 24" drop - but the strap is adjustable.

Olive knows the secret to a perfect ensemble... it doesn't have to match, it just has to "go". Hence, her green hat and purple scarf with coordinating buttons.

When she's not staring out the window praying for snow, Olive likes to play solitaire and read her Twilight series over and over and over... she can't get enough of that sparkly Edward!!

Olive's body is made of a repurposed cotton blanket, and her hat and scarf are both made from the same sweater. The sweater isn't vintage, but the buttons are! And she's full of polyfil, with some white rice for stability.

Helen is a proud little tartan-wearing Scotswoman. When you're not looking, she might actually dance a little jig. She enjoys all kinds of sweets, but her favorite of all is homemade shortbread - with or without hot tea.

From the top of her hat to her base, she's about 13.5" tall. She's filled with polyfil, and has some white rice in her base to keep her sitting pretty.

Oh, the Colonel would be so happy to come stay with you! His little vintage button may have given him his name, but he doesn't act like someone who would lead an army into battle. He's really more likely to curl up with a good book of short stories... maybe with a platter of brownies and some ice-cold milk.

Shredder is really eager to hit the slopes, so he's hoping to get adopted by someone near his favorite resorts - Monarch or Purgatory in Colorado. I'm sure he'd be perfectly happy anywhere with indoor a/c though.

Shredder loves Coldplay, Keane, and other British pop - and he has a secret penchant for Ace of Base, but don't tell anyone.

He's made from a repurposed leisure suit, a stretchy gray sweater made into a hat, and some vintage fabric as a scarf. Buttons and bells and a little fancy stitching completes his cuteness.

Filled with polyfil and stabilized with white rice.

In case you need something a little less "girlie"... this bag is made from some great denim and a repurposed cotton argyle sweater. The lining is a brown cotton or cotton blend stripe with a little texture. The straps are made from a couple of woven belts.

It's made from two pieces of linen upholstery fabric and lined with some cotton from a vintage pillow case. It has a pocket inside to keep track of your keys or cell phone.

This would be the cutest bag at the market, by a longshot. The outside is a vintage tablecloth and the interior and top trim is a bright yellow gingham bedsheet. The straps are made from a woven nylon belt.

There were some holes in the tablecloth that I mended - it just adds to the quirky style of the bag.

Lined with a square of repurposed t-shirt for absorbency, they're approximately 4"x4" square.

Plastic is nowhere NEAR as cute as this vintage pillowcase bag! Even on the worst bad hair day, you can hold your head high at the local market, because everyone will be too enamoured of your bag to notice the frizz.

This bag was once a lovely bedsheet or pillowcase, and has been repurposed to hold your groceries, supplies for a day at the pool, or library books. No matter what you use this bag for, it will look good doing it.

Please note - this photo is a representation of what your bag will look like. I have a lot of this fabric, and yours may differ slightly just in the way the flowers are positioned. No matter though, it will be gorgeous!

This is the fabric that started it all... it sat in a box waiting to be reanimated for several years before I started making tote bags. It's quite special, can't you tell? It has some cute blue velvet flowers appliqued on both sides, and the strap is woven cotton. It's lined with a bit of linen-colored cotton.

That bookstore on the corner, the local berry-picking farm... or maybe your neighbor's yard because she has some daylilies that are taking over her flower bed and wants to give you some! This bag will take you anywhere you need to go. It has a little pocket on the outside so that your cell phone doesn't get lost.

It's made from two pieces of vintage upholstery samples. Both pieces, the red linen and the gold print, were washed to reduce shrinkage. It's lined with a repurposed white cotton pillowcase. The straps are made from the same fabric as the bag, and a repurposed belt. The belt buckle was left on, and incorporated into the bag so that you can hang keys on it if you like.

These great little coasters are made from some vintage upholstery linen and a yellow floral vintage bedsheet, with tee shirt scraps in the middle to enhance the absorbancy.

This bag is an example of what I can do for you. I have a huge selection of vintage and repurposed fabrics in fun colors and patterns, as well as more neutral-colored linen and denim. I can make something as decorative or simple as you like.

The pictured bag includes the following details:
*Quilt batting in the sides of the bag and the strap for comfort's sake.
*Vintage buttons on felted wool sweater "flowers".
*Vintage pillowcase used as a liner, with several pockets inside for bottles, binkies and bum paste :)
*All fabrics have been washed (many times in some cases!) so the bag is safe for machine washing. I'd use gentle cycle.
*A matching changing pad is made from a hand towel and fabric to coordinate with the bag.
