The first time I saw one I couldn't pull my eyes away. I stood there, mouth open, eyes locked, unaware of the people bustling by. It was the most beautiful thing I had ever encountered. That moment changed my art forever.

This stunning piece would look great in any home or place of business. Two wood squares, measuring 12” x 12” are placed on a 3 inch wooden board. This metal sculpture/painting measures approximately 18 inches across and 36 inches in length. There are amazing swirls and scratches in the paint. My work is COLLECTED and RECOGNIZED! Now is your chance to Own an ORIGINAL!

My art has been featured on the National Television Series “College Hill Five“ and has appeared in books, magazines, retail outlets, and galleries.

As with all my copper paintings, nail and hammer marks are retained. This painting will change in different lighting due to the reflective qualities of the copper underneath. This painting is wired and ready to hang. The copper "eyes" are placed in such a way that the painting may be rewired to hang horizontally--or even upside down. Each copper eye has a felt backing to protect your wall. The painting is signed and dated on the back.

My work is titled based on current personal experience and the look of a piece. When a painting is purchased, I reveal the explanation of title to the owner. We are the only ones who have this information, unless the owner decides to reveal it. In this way, the owner and I have a personal connection through the painting. The purchaser will receive a Certificate of Authenticity and an Explanation of Title.

I am one of a handful of artists in America who uses copper as a canvas. You may see many artists that use metallic paint, but I am the only one on this site that uses this amazing medium.

The day I saw a copper painting in 2005 was the day my art was taken to a whole other level. I'm so glad I discovered this rare and unique art form. I'm thrilled to be able to bring this type of art to you too, so that you can experience it in person as well.

My name is Karina Keri-Matuszak. I specialize in Copper Art. Copper Art is very unusual. It has a shimmering stained glass feel, but is much more urban and rough. It is very rustic, and retains hammer marks and nails. Copper Art takes on a completely different look based on the lighting and the reflective quality of the copper. It almost seems to move and change. I'm sure you will enjoy this art as much as I enjoyed creating it!

I studied art at the American College for the Applied Arts in the U.S. and London in the early 1990s. After designing wedding gowns for 7 years, I now uses my textile skills to work with the copper. I exhibit my work all over the country. I sell online, in retail outlets, and in galleries.

My name is Karina Keri-Matuszak. I specialize in Copper Art. Copper Art is very unusual. It has a shimmering stained glass feel, but is much more urban and rough. It is very rustic, and retains hammer marks and nails. Copper Art takes on a completely different look based on the lighting and the reflective quality of the copper. It almost seems to move and change. I'm sure you will enjoy this art as much as I enjoyed creating it!

I studied art at the American College for the Applied Arts in the U.S. and London in the early 1990s. After designing wedding gowns for 7 years, I now uses my textile skills to work with the copper. I exhibit my work all over the country. I sell online, in retail outlets, and in galleries.

The first time I saw one I couldn't pull my eyes away. I stood there, mouth open, eyes locked, unaware of the people bustling by. It was the most beautiful thing I had ever encountered. That moment changed my art forever.

This piece is 12” x 24”. A copper sheet is attached to a black board. There are approximately one inch black borders on each side. This piece is raw with lots of drips and scratches. My work is COLLECTED and RECOGNIZED! Now is your chance to Own an ORIGINAL!

My art has been featured on the National Television Series “College Hill Five“ and is in the upcoming book FORM 2008--available through amazon.com!

As with all my copper paintings, nail and hammer marks are retained. This painting will change in different lighting due to the reflective qualities of the copper underneath. This painting is wired and ready to hang. The copper "eyes" are placed in such a way that the painting may be rewired to hang horizontally--or even upside down. HOW AM I ABLE TO OFFER VALUE PRICING? My response to the sluggish economy is to offer a separate line of ELITE SIZED VALUE PRICED pieces--rather than lowering the cost of my standard sizes. These pieces are smaller, but are still originals. Paintings are a little harder to find on some sites, because I am not paying for any premium or special features which cost more money. This way, I am able to pass the savings on to you. I also have changed the back of these smaller pieces--using screws to wrap the wire rather than copper “eyes”. But, as with my standard sizing, you can still adjust the wire and hang the painting horizontally, vertically, or even upside down. This keeps any investment you have in a larger piece increasing, but offers everyone a chance to own my original art.

The day I saw a copper painting in 2005 was the day my art was taken to a whole other level. I'm so glad I discovered this rare and unique art form. I'm thrilled to be able to bring this type of art to you too, so that you can experience it in person as well.

My name is Karina Keri-Matuszak. I specialize in Copper Art. Copper Art is very unusual. It has a shimmering stained glass feel, but is much more urban and rough. It is very rustic, and retains hammer marks and nails. Copper Art takes on a completely different look based on the lighting and the reflective quality of the copper. It almost seems to move and change. I'm sure you will enjoy this art as much as I enjoyed creating it!

I studied art at the American College for the Applied Arts in the U.S. and London in the early 1990s. After designing wedding gowns for 7 years, I now uses my textile skills to work with the copper. I exhibit my work all over the country. I sell online, in retail outlets, and in galleries.

Brilliant ACEO Signed Art Card Print by Karina Keri-Matuszak EARLY WORKS

Due to overwhelming requests for ACEOs, I am now making them available.

ACEO stands for “Art Cards, Editions, and Originals”. They are all trading card size, which is 2.5” x 3.5”

My ACEOs are 2.5” x 3.5” on glossy paper. They are fun to collect, trade, or give as gifts. Each ACEO is signed and titled on the back and comes in a plastic sleeve for protection. ACEOs are a great way to collect and trade works of art without a huge investment.

This piece represents a turning point in the development of my artistic style. In 1990, I was in art school in London. I had never cared for abstract art to that point in my life. My professor barely noticed my work and I really wasn't doing anything that made him take notice. When the assignment was an abstract one, I was less than thrilled. To my surprise, he said my work was "Brilliant"--and gave me an A+. I said "Oh, GREAT---now I have to learn how to do abstract art"--but nevertheless,that moment solidified my calling into the abstract world. "Brilliant", "A New Path", and "Encore" are all pieces I created during my time in London in Art School.

My work has been featured on the set of a national television series and I have been voted BEST VISUAL ARTIST by the readers of Creative Loafing. My work will be seen soon in Southern Living Magazine.

My name is Karina Keri-Matuszak. I specialize in Copper Art. Copper Art is very unusual. It has a shimmering stained glass feel, but is much more urban and rough. It is very rustic, and retains hammer marks and nails. Copper Art takes on a completely different look based on the lighting and the reflective quality of the copper. It almost seems to move and change. I'm sure you will enjoy this art as much as I enjoyed creating it!

I studied art at the American College for the Applied Arts in the U.S. and London in the early 1990s. After designing wedding gowns for 7 years, I now uses my textile skills to work with the copper. I exhibit my work all over the country. I sell online, in retail outlets, and in galleries.

The first time I saw one I couldn't pull my eyes away. I stood there, mouth open, eyes locked, unaware of the people bustling by. It was the most beautiful thing I had ever encountered. That moment changed my art forever.

This piece is 24” x 24”. It is oil on aluminum. Four one inch black boards are attached to all sides, creating a rustic “frame like” effect. There are amazing scratches in the paint This piece is one of several pieces photographed for Southern Living Magazine. I am not sure which ones will be picked for sure, but this one could make an appearance.

As with all my metal paintings, nail and hammer marks are retained. This painting will change in different lighting due to the reflective qualities of the copper underneath. This painting is wired and ready to hang. The copper "eyes" are placed in such a way that the painting may be rewired to hang horizontally--or even upside down. Each copper eye has a felt backing to protect your wall. The painting is signed and dated on the back.

My work is titled based on current personal experience and the look of a piece. When a painting is purchased, I reveal the explanation of title to the owner. We are the only ones who have this information, unless the owner decides to reveal it. In this way, the owner and I have a personal connection through the painting. The purchaser will receive a Certificate of Authenticity and an Explanation of Title.

I am one of a handful of artists in America who uses metal as a canvas. You may see many artists that use metallic paint, but I am the only one on this site that uses this amazing medium.

This piece represents a turning point in the development of my artistic style. In 1990, I was in art school in London. I had never cared for abstract art to that point in my life. My professor barely noticed my work and I really wasn't doing anything that made him take notice. When the assignment was an abstract one, I was less than thrilled. To my surprise, he said my work was "Brilliant"--and gave me an A+. I said "Oh, GREAT---now I have to learn how to do abstract art"--but nevertheless,that moment solidified my calling into the abstract world. "Brilliant", "A New Path", and "Encore" are all pieces I created during my time in London in Art School.

As with all my copper paintings, nail and hammer marks are retained. This painting will change in different lighting due to the reflective qualities of the copper underneath. This painting is wired and ready to hang. The copper "eyes" are placed in such a way that the painting may be rewired to hang horizontally--or even upside down. Each copper eye has a felt backing to protect your wall. The painting is signed and dated on the back.

My work is titled based on current personal experience and the look of a piece. When a painting is purchased, I reveal the explanation of title to the owner. We are the only ones who have this information, unless the owner decides to reveal it. In this way, the owner and I have a personal connection through the painting. The purchaser will receive a Certificate of Authenticity and an Explanation of Title.

I am one of a handful of artists in America who uses copper as a canvas. You may see many artists that use metallic paint, but I am the only one on this site that uses this amazing medium.

The day I saw a copper painting in 2005 was the day my art was taken to a whole other level. I'm so glad I discovered this rare and unique art form. I'm thrilled to be able to bring this type of art to you too, so that you can experience it in person as well.

My name is Karina Keri-Matuszak. I specialize in Copper Art. Copper Art is very unusual. It has a shimmering stained glass feel, but is much more urban and rough. It is very rustic, and retains hammer marks and nails. Copper Art takes on a completely different look based on the lighting and the reflective quality of the copper. It almost seems to move and change. I'm sure you will enjoy this art as much as I enjoyed creating it!

I studied art at the American College for the Applied Arts in the U.S. and London in the early 1990s. After designing wedding gowns for 7 years, I now uses my textile skills to work with the copper. I exhibit my work all over the country. I sell online, in retail outlets, and in galleries.

The first time I saw one I couldn't pull my eyes away. I stood there, mouth open, eyes locked, unaware of the people bustling by. It was the most beautiful thing I had ever encountered. That moment changed my art forever.

This is a great new item. It’s perfect for collectors and for those who are new to my art. It is a black frame with a 4" x 6" miniature copper painting. The edges of the frame are rounded. Copper is painted with oil and scratched--just like my standard size paintings! I have tons of these and will be listing them frequently. They are all untitled, but are a perfect addition to your collection. Great for a nightstand or countertop. Can hang or stand, vertically or horizontally.

This painting will change in different lighting due to the reflective qualities of the copper underneath.

The day I saw a copper painting in 2005 was the day my art was taken to a whole other level. I'm so glad I discovered this rare and unique art form. I'm thrilled to be able to bring this type of art to you too, so that you can experience it in person as well.

My name is Karina Keri-Matuszak. I specialize in Copper Art. Copper Art is very unusual. It has a shimmering stained glass feel, but is much more urban and rough. It is very rustic, and retains hammer marks and nails. Copper Art takes on a completely different look based on the lighting and the reflective quality of the copper. It almost seems to move and change. I'm sure you will enjoy this art as much as I enjoyed creating it!

I studied art at the American College for the Applied Arts in the U.S. and London in the early 1990s. After designing wedding gowns for 7 years, I now uses my textile skills to work with the copper. I exhibit my work all over the country. I sell online, in retail outlets, and in galleries.

My work is titled based on current personal experience and the look of a piece. When a painting is purchased, I reveal the explanation of title to the owner. We are the only ones who have this information, unless the owner decides to reveal it. In this way, the owner and I have a personal connection through the painting. The purchaser will receive a Certificate of Authenticity and an Explanation of Title.

Although this piece is not copper, I am one of a handful of artists in America who uses copper as a canvas. You may see many artists that use metallic paint, but I am the only one on this site that uses this amazing medium.

The day I saw a copper painting in 2005 was the day my art was taken to a whole other level. I'm so glad I discovered this rare and unique art form. I'm thrilled to be able to bring this type of art to you too, so that you can experience it in person as well.

My name is Karina Keri-Matuszak. I specialize in Copper Art. Copper Art is very unusual. It has a shimmering stained glass feel, but is much more urban and rough. It is very rustic, and retains hammer marks and nails. Copper Art takes on a completely different look based on the lighting and the reflective quality of the copper. It almost seems to move and change. I'm sure you will enjoy this art as much as I enjoyed creating it!

I studied art at the American College for the Applied Arts in the U.S. and London in the early 1990s. After designing wedding gowns for 7 years, I now uses my textile skills to work with the copper. I exhibit my work all over the country. I sell online, in retail outlets, and in galleries.

This piece was originally created for a competition entitled “Unfinished Works” and then showed up for 10 weeks on the set of College Hill Five in March 2008 (see the second photo on the television set). It is archival and fade resistant. This piece was originally created while I was in art school in the early 1990s. The original was created in charcoal and conte crayon. It began with a completely black background, and the piece was created with an eraser. This print is from an original painting that is one of my most popular. Entitled “Hope’s Dream Awakens”, it is printed with high definition inks on 11” x 14” glossy paper with a small white border for framing. It is archival, fade resistant, and has true colors. This piece was originally created for a competition entitled “Unfinished Works” and then showed up for 10 weeks on the set of College Hill Five in March 2008 (see the second photo of this piece on set). Although I get many offers on this piece, the original will never be sold. But now you can own this beautiful piece for yourself. Prints are a fantastic way to own a piece of art from a living artist.

This giclee is a whole new exciting medium! It is a giclee of my copper painting “Best Day Ever”. The ink on canvas reproduces all the scratches, swirls, and the copper underneath. Of course, it isn’t reflective like my original copper paintings--but this reproduction of a copper painting on canvas is a whole new medium. It is printed with high definition inks on 12” x 12” stretched canvas. It is varnished and signed. It is archival, fade-resistant, and has true colors. The original may appear in Southern Living magazine. It was one of several shot for an upcoming article, although I have no control over which pieces make it in. Now you can own this beautiful piece for yourself--in a whole new medium. Prints are a fantastic way to own a piece of art from a living artist.

My art has been featured on the National Television Series “College Hill Five“ and is in the upcoming book FORM 2008--available through amazon.com! I also have an article coming out in Southern Living Magazine.
