This is a set of 10 gift tags that have been made from a vintage children's book that was destined for landfill. These tags have been made from a Richard Scarry wordbook.

The book the tags came from couldn't be sold by the charity shop due to some damaged pages. I rescued it and used the bits that I could salvage to make these beautiful gift tags. These tags measure 2 1/2 in by 2in (7cm by 5cm) And the tags shown here don't have their string attached - rest assured that yours will!

A set of 10 mini envelopes recycled from a Peter and Jane ladybird book. They depict scenes of Peter and Jane around their house and with their parents. They measure 11cm x 8 cm (4 1/2 in x 3 in). These are smaller than standard sized envelopes but will go through the post with no problem as I have used them before!

This little ACEO was inspired by Doctor Who and my elder daughter in equal measure! The alien idea came from Dr Who and my daughter inspired the colours and the disco. I got the idea of the ink blots themselves by making a mistake on a different piece of work - mistakes happen for a reason! Anyway, these aliens are dancing at a disco and if you look carefully none of them are the same - each alien is unique.

These badge sets are repurposed from vintage children's books that the charity shop can't sell as they are damaged in some way - ripped pages etc. I 'rescue' them and re use them to make these great badge sets.

Here we have a set of 10 envelopes made from a vintage fairy tales book. You will need to use tape to close these envelopes and they will come with white address labels for ease of use. The fairy tales included in this set are The Snow Queen, Thumbelina and Puss in Boots to name a few.

*Just a quick note to let you know if you are planning to use these envelopes for an envelope book - there are small stickers on the back of the envelopes* If you do want to use them for envelope books and you don't mind getting slightly different envelopes to the ones for sale then get in touch and I can make some without the stickers.

Treasure book for Boys recycled notebook.

I have used the pages from this book to make gift tags and I didn't want to let the covers go to waste so I decided to turn them into a journal. This journal has 80 pages that have also been rescued from landfill - the paper came from a local company who changed their logo. So all in all a great recycled journal/sketchbook/doodling pad. It has been bound with a Bind It All machine along the spine. This notebook measures 18cm by 25 cm (7in x 10in)

As the book is vintage it has some wear to the edges of the book - we feel that this adds to the charm of it. There is also a small piece of paper missing from the top of the front page where a sticker had been placed and then re-moved.

Any question then feel free to ask.

Recycled travel journal/album - made with postage stamps

This travel journal has been made using old postage stamps from around the world. There are stamps from India, Mexico, Singapore, Uganda, USA, UAE and many others. I have highlighted the fact that this is meant to be a travel journal with the use of scrabble tile letters that spell out 'travel'.

This item is reduced and in my whoops section because it has an extra hole in the bottom where I hadn't quote figured out how to use the machine properly!

Spring Blossom Brooch - recycled

This brooch has been made from entirely recycled/repurposed or reused items except for the brooch back. Even the embroidery thread is recycled! This brooch has been made by laying some velvet ribbon onto a piece of felt and then embellishing it with vintage buttons. I then finished it off by embroidering a flower design. The brooch measures approx 8cm (3 1/2in)

Here we have a set of 3 blank notecards. These have been made using children's vintage playing cards. The Indian boy has stamps of snakes on because he looks like he is charming a snake! He is mounted on a piece of newspaper written in Hindi and has a small silver coloured embellishment. The Cowboy has stamps of horses on his card, for obvious reasons! The Scottish girl has a piece of Tartan ribbon and pretty butterflies as an embellishment. All come with a co ordinating envelope and are packed in a protective sleeve.

I have used the pages from this book to make envelopes and I didn't want to let the covers go to waste so I decided to turn them into a journal. This journal has 120 pages that have also been rescued from landfill - the paper came from a local company who changed their logo. So all in all a great recycled journal/sketchbook/doodling pad. It has been bound with a Bind It All machine along the spine.
