I'm visiting my sister in Israel and one of the things we like to do most together is make sock-puppets. Not only it's really fun, she also has a very extensive collection of single socks!

So a couple of days ago, we sat and made a couple of those lucky cats together. My sister made Herman the green cat, she said her system of naming puppets is by giving them the first name that comes to mind, in this case, it was Herman.

Herman the lucky cat is an amateur opera singer, he's got a really good baritone and enjoy mostly Italian operas, he also loves to take care of his neat little apartment, and arrange his books and laundry by colors (I'm always jealous of people who manage to do that!).

He's made from a couple of green and white stocks, and have a pink colar with a red star ornament around his neck.

Sprinkle the sock cat is nice and quite, he likes sleeping a lot and have many adventures in his dreams.

He's made from a couple of pink and white stocks, and have a red ribbon with a golden ornament around his neck.

I'm not sure why, but both me and my sister have a bit of an obsession with small things. when I'm making stuff, I always wonder - ya, but can I make this half the size... this led to a very strange process by the end of I could make 4 paper cranes from one memo note...

So, I guess this is why I got so excited when I spotted those plates in an Asian home decor store - they are tiny! originally meant for personal soy sauce serving, I thought those would be great for either salt, a couple of olives or oil, or keeping your rings in.

The salt plate is 2.75" across (7 cm) and about 0.75" deep (2 cm) and hand painted with a bird on an aqua background.

Paint contain no toxic ingredients,and conform to ASTM D-4236. It's also dishwasher safe.

Tapas are small Spanish snacks, usually eaten with a drink. They are yummy bite size treats made of vegetables, meat, fish or cheese.

If you don't eat tapas, those couple also be used for a small cupcake, salt or olives. Or just as a practical small container, I use one of those for small jewelery and another for the camera memory cards.

The tapas plate plate is 3.75" across (10 cm) and about 1" deep (2.5cm) and hand painted with an elk on an ultramarine background.

Yes, there is no way around it, winter is basically just around the corner. And I'm feeling torn between being sad for the lose of warmth, sun and long long days to being excited at the prospect of snow and Christmas lights.

And so I decided to welcome both in some snowy dishes, like this polar bears tea pot.

tea pot is made of white porcelain, it's nice and tall and fit about 4-6 cups of tea or coffee. It's about 5" tall and 4" across (15 cm X 11 cm) and is decorated with a2 polar bears in a clear starry night. Perfect for a nice cup of tea when it's cold outside.

Whatever else we do that day, our mornings always starts the same, we wake up, get dressed and go out for breakfast. Sometimes we talked about what we are going to do that day, sometimes about the dreams from last night, some morning we are both so out of it we can't even speak till we have some coffee and food.

The thing about eating breakfast out is that there's a lot of waiting involved, we wait for menus, wait for coffee, wait for each other to finish the food, wait for a check. Usually in that waiting time, I doodle or draw or paint, just quick not serious drawings, on the paper table cloths, the back of flayers, random pieces of paper - whatever.

I decided to launch a series of drawings I'm going to call "by my breakfast" which are going to be a random drawing everyday, which will be priced as much as I paid for breakfast.

Today's drawing was done in "Lodge" it's one of my favorite places in the neighborhood, and the best place for people looking because the windows are so huge. It's on an old book page and done in pen and watercolor.
I had a protabello and cheese sandwich (11$) and a coffee(2$) and tip was 2.5$.

This in an original, watercolor, and ink piece, 8.25"X5.5" (21X13.5 cm). Signed and dated.

The idea for this item came up once the vitamin's company changed the packaging of my B12 to an ugly plastic bottle, having to take a pill is bad enough! I didn't want to also take it from an ugly bottle...
So I decided to find or make something that would make me like my vitamins more and Ned found some beautiful brown glass bottles that we can use.

The magnum size pill bottle contains 2oz. it's 4"X1.5" (10X4cm).

The bottle close with a strong fitting black plastic cap, and decorated with a beautiful bird and the words "feel good" in white, black and red. The design is done by hand and there would never be another bottle just like this.

Paint contain no toxic ingredients,and conform to ASTM D-4236. It's also dishwasher safe.

This is a Japanese style tea cup, it's made of a beautiful white porcelain, and I think, out of all the ceramic containers I used recently, is my favorite. It fit snugly in your hands while having a hot drink, and can also be used at a small planter or a pencil holder on your desk.

The cup is about 3" (8 cm) tall and 3" (7 cm) across. It's decorated a few gentle looking sea horses on a purple background.
The drawing is one of a kind, there will never be another glass just like this.

I've designed those in my head last week in a motel room in PA while not being able to fall asleep. Only today, I had time to put the idea on paper (well, on cup) and I'm so happy that it came out as nice as I imagined it.

Those is a little taupe color ceramic cups are about 4" (10.5cm) tall and 3" (7 cm) across. they are prefect warm drink, a small window plant, a small bunch of flowers or herbs or even just to keep pen and pencil in on your desk.

This cup is decorated with a silhouette of a little girl, in purple with large elaborate butterflies in the background.

The drawings are one of a kind and made by hand, there will never be another vase just like it!

The paint is non-toxic and dishwasher safe.

Gemsbok - original watercolor

This is a drawing of a page from an animal of the world book. I really like how each page in that book combines the animals, pointers and texts in such a seamless way.

Gemsbok is a type of a gazelle or antelope, it's gentle and beautiful and lives in Africa.

This painting is about 5"X5" (13X13 cm) and done in watercolor and pen on an acid free watercolor paper. It's signed on the bottom right side.

Sold unframed and unmated.
