Inspired in part by all the Fun new Funky Retro fabrics.
This Quilt would be a fun Mother/Daughter project.

Fabric Requirements

This Quilt is intended to be made with many different fabrics. For the Quilt on the cover I used a fat quarter bundle from Momo’s Wonderland fabrics. I did some fussy cutting so I used more fabric.
The 3rd picture is a quilt I made using Urban Chiks 1974 fabrics. I used 32 fat quarters for the quilt.
The 4th picture I used Sanae's Arcadia fabrics from 2 jelly rolls and a layer cake. The 5th picture I used (15) 1/2 yd cuts from Joel Dewberry's Deer Valley.

This is a scrappy quilt pattern.

Aprox 7 1/2 yds of fabric
5 yds backing
3/4 yd Binding
78” by 86” batting

I revised my Scrappy Trails Quilt Pattern to be a Jelly Charm friendly pattern. It now includes cutting directions using 1 jelly roll and 1 charm pack. If you have already purchased this pattern convo me and I will email you the Jelly Charm cutting directions.
I also gave this pattern a face lift, by changing the cover quilt. This way I know which patterns have been revised.

The fabrics used for the Quilt on the cover are Deb Strain's Fabulous Fall.

Have fun creating an Heirloom Treasure using up those favorite scraps.

MeadowSweet Patchwork Quilt with Sandi Henderson New fabrics

For this Beautiful Quilt I chose my new pattern “Meadow Blocks” and Sandi Henderson’s Gorgeous new fabrics “Meadow Sweet”.

This pattern has large pieces to flaunt the Gorgeous Florals in Meadowsweet. I used 16 fabrics for the top, another for the binding. For the back I chose my Favorite “Splashy Rose in Citrus”.

Using Warm and Natural cotton batting I machine quilted in a Free hand meandering. I finished the edges with a traditional hand stitched binding.

After completion I machine washed this Quilt on gentle cycle using a gentle laundry detergent and tumbled dried on low heat. It is Pre-shrunk and ready for that special bed or couch.

This is a Quilt in progress and will be completed Wednesday January 6th, and ready to ship Thursday January 7th.

Finished prewashed size will be 60" by 68"

I call this Quilt Lady Jane. My middle name is Jane; when I was a little girl my Mom sometimes called me Lady Jane. As I am working on this Quilt with Heather Bailey's pretty new fabrics called "Nicey Jane", that memory keeps popping in my head. Hence, the name Lady Jane. These fabrics are so pretty they would please any Lady.

I am using my new pattern Meadow Blocks; 16 fabrics for the top and the backing is the Picnic Bouquet in yellow, blue and green. Warm and White cotton batting and am machine quilting in a Free hand meandering. I will finished the edges with a traditional hand stitched binding. After completion I will machine washed this Quilt on gentle cycle using a gentle laundry detergent and tumbled dried on low heat.

For this Awesome Quilt I chose my Funky Windows pattern and Momo’s new Fantasy Fabrics “Odyssea”; Funky Nautical prints perfect for the modern boy’s bed.

I pieced are 64 window blocks, 4 different sizes.
and backed the Quilt with the Odyssea Calypso Ocean.

Using Warm and Natural cotton batting I machine quilted in a Freehand meandering. I finished the edges with a traditional hand stitched binding.

After completion I machine washed this Quilt on gentle cycle using a gentle laundry detergent and tumbled dried on low heat. It is Pre-shrunk and ready for that special bed.

Baby Soft Pink Medallion Flannel Baby Whole Cloth Quilt

Pink Medallion Flannel Baby Quilt
Size 38” by 40”

I made this soft and cuddly baby quilt with Sandi Henderson’s Pink Medallion flannel fabric.
This is a whole cloth quilt, both sides are the pink medallion. The binding is the stripe from the same collection. I generally sell these quilts for $75. This one is a special New Year’s price of only $65.00.

With cotton batting between the layers, I machine quilted in a free hand meandering and finished with a traditional hand stitched binding around the edges. I used a coordinating stripe from the same collection for the binding.

After completion I machine washed this Quilt on gentle cycle and tumbled dried on low heat. I love the way the fabrics and batting shrink up around the quilting stitches.

Essence Patchwork Quilt
Good size Lap Quilt measures 58” by 58”

For this Beautiful Quilt I used Sandy Gervais new collection Essence. Wonderful colors of red, brown, plum, gold and my favorite, Teal.
Modern Folk Flowers with checks, circles, leaves and brush stroke prints.

There are nine large floral blocks surrounded by patchwork. The backing is the Essence Teal Flowers. Fabulous Colors, I Love this Quilt.

Using Warm and White cotton batting I machine quilted in a Free Hand meandering. After completion I machine washed this Quilt on gentle cycle and tumbled dried on low heat. I love the way the fabrics and batting shrink up around the quilting stitches giving it that cozy look.

The ShelbyMine Quilted Drawstring bag is intended to be a pretty everyday bag. However, I am told it makes an excellent bag for knitting projects also. I started selling this bag in 2005.
