This handmade necklace features a porcelain shamrock pendant and a Celtic TriquetraKnot tied in black satin rattail cord. The pendant that has been stamped with a variation of the Celtic Triquetra Knot and finished with a green glaze. The knot is hand-tied and sewn so it will not come loose.

The original meaning of triquetra was simply "triangle" and it has been used to refer to various three-cornered shapes. It has become widely accepted as a sign of special things and persons that are threefold, such as Mother, Daughter and Grandmother - Past, Present and Future -and especially the Holy Trinity, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

The pendant is 1.5 inches in diameter and the knot adds another 1.5" to the focal of necklace. The total necklace length is approximately 13 inches, and is fastened by a magnetic clasp.

This handmade necklace features a porcelain charm and a Celtic Circle of Life Knot tied in white satin rattail cord. The charm has been impressed with a heart knot pattern from a Scandinavian cookie stamp. The knot is hand-tied and sewn so it will not come loose.

The Round Brocade Knot is inspired by the rounded patterns in many Chinese brocades. As the circle represents completeness to the Chinese, so the round working of this knot adds to the message of good fortune. I have sewn in gold, glass beads to the points of the knot and a blue, glass, cat's-eye bead to the center.

The pendant is 1.75 inches in diameter and the knot adds another 1" to the focal of necklace. The total necklace length is approximately 14.5 inches, and is fastened by a magnetic clasp.

These porcelain cups were designed for use with the book "The Blessing Cup: Prayer-Rituals for Families and Groups" by Rock Travnikar, but you don't need the book to use this cup in your daily celebrations of life.

Each cup was thrown on the potter's wheel and hand carved. An interlaced fish motif was carved around the cups when the clay was leather-hard (dry enough to hold its shape but not completely dry). No templates or molds were used.

They were finished with a celadon glaze and then fired to approximately 2300°F (1,260°C). While the cups are microwave and dishwasher safe, hand washing is recommended.

Each cup holds approximately 2 ounces (59 mL) and is about 2.25" (5.5 cm) tall and 2" (5 cm) in diameter.

I have two cups currently available. The price listed is for one cup. Each piece is handmade and there are slight differences (as shown in the photos). You will not have a choice of which one I send.

The ten-accord knot symbolizes all of the things that make up the good life in Chinese eyes. They include: manifold returns from a single investment, two hearts living together in harmony, passing all three levels of civil examinations with flying colors, peace throughout the four seasons, a bountiful harvest of all five major grains, the vigor of spring growth in all six Chinese cardinal directions, being blessed with seven successful sons, a life longer than any of the eight immortals, nine generations under one roof, and complete prosperity and wealth.

This handmade necklace features a porcelain charm and a Chinese "Ju I" Knot tied in white satin rattail cord. The charm that has been stamped with a Celtic knot finished with a clear glaze. The "ju i" knot echos the shape of the scepter from which it gets its name. "Ju i" means everything according to your heart's desire. It is a symbol of great fortune, and it is believed that to carry one is to court good luck, and to own one is to enjoy prosperity.

My customers insists that they are perfect for mulled wine or mead. It doesn't matter what you are drinking, these generous goblets make any occasion feel special.

These porcelain goblets were thrown on the potter's wheel and hand carved. The knotwork was designed directly on the side and carved into the porcelain when it is leather-hard (dry enough to hold its shape but not completely dry). No templates or molds were used, and each knot is unique. A Roman numeral is inscribed on the bottom of most pieces indicating the number of "strands" in the knot.

Each piece is finished with an amber celadon glaze and then fired to approximately 2300°F (1,260°C). This creates a delicate yet durable finished piece of pottery. The final color is a deep greenish-brown that breaks to a lighter yellow/gold on the edges of the carving. Photos cannot accurately portray the depth and variation of the glaze color.

All pieces of the set are microwave and dishwasher safe, but hand washing is recommended. The goblet stem is hollow and there is a small hole in the bottom (hidden in my signature). If the goblet is allowed to soak, water can enter the stem and it will be difficult to dry.

These goblets hold approximately 11 oz (325 mL). They measure approximately 3.25" (8 cm) in diameter, and it stand a total of 8.25" - 8.5" (21 - 21.5 cm) tall.

Please note that each goblet is slightly different, but I am selling them as a set. The price listed is for the pair.

These generous mugs are perfect for a pint of beer or a steaming mug of cocoa.

These large mugs were thrown on the potter's wheel and hand carved. The knotwork is designed directly on each piece and carved into the porcelain when it is leather-hard (dry enough to hold its shape but not completely dry). No templates or molds were used, and each knot is unique. A Roman numeral is inscribed on the bottom of most pieces indicating the number of "strands" in the knot.

Each piece is finished with an amber celadon glaze and then fired to approximately 2300°F (1,260°C). This creates a delicate yet durable finished piece of pottery. If you are using these for a hot beverage, warm the mug before adding boiling water. Rapid change of extreme temperatures can cause cracking. All pieces of the set are microwave and dishwasher safe, but hand washing is recommended.

This hand-strung 5 decade rosary features a porcelain Celtic Cross, tortoise transparent glass decade beads, bone Our Father beads, and a carnelion trinity knot centerpiece. Small glass beads are also used as spacers. The porcelain cross was hand pressed, stained, and high fired. The beads were carefully chosen to compliment the cross and strung on a sturdy jewelry wire.

The rosary is 15.5 inches (39 cm) long and comes with a crocheted bag for storage and carrying. The bag is handmade from a 75% cotton, 30% wool thread blend.

Care for the bag as follows: hand or machine wash gentle cycle, cold water, no bleach, rinse well and promptly remove. Roll in a towel to remove excess water. Dry flat and block into shape. Do not tumble dry.

These large mugs were thrown on the potter's wheel and hand carved. No templates or molds were used, and each knot is unique. A Roman numeral is inscribed on the bottom of most pieces indicating the number of "strands" in the knot.

Each piece is glazed in a light shade of celadon and then fired to approximately 2300°F (1,260°C). This creates a delicate yet durable finished piece of pottery. If you are using these for a hot beverage, warm the mug before adding boiling water. Rapid change of extreme temperatures can cause cracking. All pieces of the set are microwave and dishwasher safe, but hand washing is recommended.

These mugs holds approximately 18 - 19 oz (530 - 560 mL). The body of the mugs measure 5.5" (14 cm) tall by at least 4" (10 cm) diameter, and the handle creates a total width of 5.5" - 5.75" (14 - 14.5 cm).

The bowls were finished with an amber celadon glaze and then fired to approximately 2300°F (1,260°C). This creates a delicate yet durable finished piece of pottery. They are microwave and dishwasher safe, but hand washing is recommended.

The final color is a deep greenish-brown that breaks to a lighter yellow/gold on the edges of the carving. Photos cannot accurately portray the depth and variation of the glaze color.

Each bowl is approximately 5.25" (13 cm) in diameter and 3.25" (8.5 cm) tall.

I have two bowls available (there are two images of each bowl). If you look closely at the images you will notice the difference in the knotwork. If you only purchase one of the bowls, you will not have a choice of which one I send.

This 3-piece porcelain dinner set was thrown on the potter's wheel and hand carved. The knotwork is designed directly on each piece and carved into the porcelain when it is leather-hard (dry enough to hold its shape but not completely dry). No templates or molds were used, and each knot is unique. A Roman numeral is inscribed on the bottom of each piece indicating the number of "strands" in the knot.

Each piece is glazed and fired to approximately 2300°F (1,260°C). The iron colored glaze used on this set has a wonderful matte finish that gives the porcelain a more rustic feel. All pieces of the set are microwave and dishwasher safe, but hand washing is recommended, especially for the goblet. The goblet stem is hollow and there is a small hole in the bottom (hidden in my signature). If the goblet is allowed to soak, water can enter the stem and it will be difficult to dry.

The plate is approximately 9.75" (25 cm) in diameter and 1.25" (3 cm) tall. The border knot is made up of III strands.

The bowl is approximately 5" (13 cm) in diameter and 3" (7.5 cm) tall. A II strand knot is carved around the exterior.

The goblet holds approximately 12 oz (350 mL). The goblet measures 3.75" (9 cm) in diameter, and it stands a total of 8.5" (21.5 cm) tall. The side of the goblet bowl is carved with a single strand knot.

This porcelain mirror was thrown on the potter's wheel like a plate and then hand carved. The spiral design was carved through blue slip to reveal the white porcelain beneath. No templates or molds were used. The frame was then finished with a clear, glossy glaze.

The mirror is approximately 10.25 inches (26 cm) in diameter. The round mirror glass is securely glued into the porcelain frame, and a wire is wrapped around the "foot" of the piece with a hanging loop at the top.

The plate is approximately 9.75" (25 cm) in diameter and 1.5" (3.5 cm) tall. The border knot is made up of VIII strands, and it is glazed in a dark celadon glaze.

The bowl is approximately 5.5" (14 cm) in diameter and 3.25" (8.5 cm) tall. A IV strand knot is carved around the exterior, and it is glazed in a medium celadon glaze.

The mug holds approximately 11 oz (325 mL). The body of the mug measures 4.25" (10.5 cm) tall by 3.75" (9 cm) diameter, and the handle creates a total width of 5" (13 cm). The side is carved with a III strand knot that begins and ends on either side of the handle. The finish is a light celadon glaze.

Fossil Jasper Rosary

This hand-strung 5 decade rosary features a porcelain Celtic Cross, Fossil Jasper Red Limestone, and Cinnabar beads. Small glass beads are also used as spacers. The porcelain cross was hand pressed, stained, and high fired. The beads were carefully chosen to compliment the cross and strung on a sturdy jewelry wire.

A crocheted bag is included for storage and carrying. It is handmade from 100% cotton thread.

Care for the bag as follows: hand or machine wash gentle cycle, cold water, no bleach, rinse well and promptly remove. Roll in a towel to remove excess water. Dry flat and block into shape. Do not tumble dry.
