This painting in thick, knife applied oil is the sixth installment in my new series of abstract paintings that seek to explore abstraction as one's blurred vision, and all of the interpretations within....

This piece is comprised of several layers of thick paint creating an almost 3 dimensional appearance - a truly unique and one of a kind piece of artwork! It would be a vibrant and sophisticated piece to add to any fine art collection, or the perfect stand out work of art to start one!

This piece is signed and dated on the front and back of the painting. The chunky, 1.5 inch thick staple free sides have been painted so there is no need for framing. It actually doubles as a sculptural wall element!

Our bags are made with 100% USA organic cotton, and sewn in Northern California. They are a very sturdy 10 oz. canvas, and built to last. The shopping totes are a little more roomy than a standard paper shopping bag, but able to handle a lot of weight.

Gusset(Depth): 6"
Handles: 1.5"x23"

Starving Artist Bags individually print and press the image onto each bag using an industrial quality heat press and industrial quality heat transfer paper which is not found in stores. These are the highest quality of organic cotton bag and print I found after extensively researching what is out there.

The bags are quite sturdy and durable, however, being untreated, non pre-shrunk organic cotton, spot cleaning is recommended when possible. If need be, they can be washed in cold water, inside out, and line dried. Do not iron directly on the images.

This rhodium plated brass vintage necklace features a print of "The Sound of Silence" in the center. I covered the tiny print up in glass like epoxy resin to protect it and give it a nice sheen. The entire necklace measures 22 inches from tip of chain to end of pendent and closes with a barrel clasp. The print mounting area is 18x25 mm.

This is my first necklace in my new line of art jewelry! More to come :)

Pendent will come packaged in a gold jewelry box, perfect for gift giving.

Forgotten Memories- Art Book Locket Necklace

I'm excited to work with Lori of heartworksbylori! We've teamed up together to offer wearable art treasures that you'll love!

This stunning art image is printed on Kodak Endura's gorgeous metallic paper. The colors are exceptionally vivid and the image has a unique three-dimensional quality. The paper has a lovely pearlescent sheen and it's simply dazzling in it's little brass book locket. The vibrant "Forgotten Memories" image is captured on the front of an antique finish brass book locket which hangs on a brass rolo chain. It's sealed with a glass-like coating for protection and shine and the chain is finished with a lobster clasp. Length-16 inches but can be lengthened to 18 per your request!

Inside the locket, there are 2 empty recessed oval areas for you to mount your favorite pictures of your own choosing. These openings measure 3/4 of an inch tall. The outside diameter of the locket measures 1 inch tall x 3/4 in wide...a perfect petite size!

This would make a fabulous gift for that special someone!

Ok...so this one is a bit more racey than my other work. It's my edgiest to date. I always toyed with romance in my pieces before. Toyed with the possibilities. But never took it to the next level.

I spent a ton of time on this piece. And obviously, it's mature. I'd like to cite Cecily Brown as an inspiration for this piece. I just bought a 24x48 canvas and will be exploring this subject matter further....

This piece is comprised of several layers of thick paint creating an almost 3 dimensional appearance - a truly unique and one of a kind piece of artwork! It would be a vibrant and sophisticated piece to add to any fine art collection, or the perfect stand out work of art to start one!

This piece is signed and dated on the front and back of the painting. The staple free sides have been painted so there is no need for framing, but you can of course if you like :) This piece has been varnished to protect from UV rays and the elements and has been wired on the back for easy hanging.

Within- Art Locket Necklace

I'm excited to work with Lori of heartworksbylori! We've teamed up together to offer wearable art treasures that you'll love!

This stunning art image is printed on Kodak Endura's gorgeous metallic paper. The colors are exceptionally vivid and the image has a unique three-dimensional quality. The paper has a lovely pearlescent sheen and it's simply dazzling in it's little round locket. The haunting "Within" image is captured on the front of an antique finish brass round locket which hangs on a brass rolo chain. It's sealed with a glass-like coating for protection and shine and the chain is finished with a lobster clasp. Length-16 inches but can be lengthened to 18 per your request!

Inside the locket, there are 2 empty recessed areas for you to mount your favorite pictures of your own choosing. These openings measure 3/4 of an inch around. The outside diameter of the locket measures 27mm (just over 1 inch).

This would make a fabulous gift for that special someone!

This rhodium plated brass Victorian style ring features a close up of the print "Genesis" in the center. I covered the tiny print up in glass like epoxy resin to protect it and give it a nice sheen. The print mounting area is 13x18 mm. The ring has a scroll or vine like appearance - please see the detail images. It's beautiful and feels very comfortable on. The ring is adjustable and can fit any number of widths and fingers. In the picture I am wearing it on my ring finger for example, which is a size 5.5 but you can easily resize it by pulling the two under edges apart to fit you perfectly :)

This is the first ring in my new line of art jewelry - I love it and it turned out fabulous! Definitely a conversation starter. Very unique!

Ring will come packaged in a gold jewelry box, perfect for gift giving.

Wave Locket - Art Jewelry collaboration by Aja and Cinnie

This gorgeous art locket is a collaboration between myself and my jewelery designer sis, Cinnie ( cinnie.etsy.com )

I started with a round vintage style, rhodium plated locket with filigree detail and fit a tiny high quality, professionally printed print of my artwork titled "Wave". I then sealed it onto the locket with epoxy resin which creates a glass like shine and protects the image from damage and gives it a beautiful high gloss sheen. You'll notice when you move it back and forth in the light that the resin is actually concave in appearance - a great (albeit unintended!) affect!

The interior of the locket has been left empty so you can fill it with a photo special to you that you can keep close to your heart.

Then I handed the whole thing over to my talented sis.

She utilized only the highest quality materials - Pure silver chain, spacers, and beadcaps, 4 brilliant and polished genuine kyanite stones, 10 sparkling Swarovski crystals throughout (8 blue, 2 purple) and a fabulous artisan disk bead with blues and a ring of purple in the middle echoing the Swarovski crystals and the kyanite. Just gorgeous. Finished off with a circle toggle clasp for that added touch.
