This is a soft pastel drawing on canvas. I used many layers of soft pastel and shavings of the pastel to create a texture. The piece is encrusted in pastel. I used drops of water to create splatter textures and craters. The piece has been coated with glossy spray fixative. The result is, the piece sparkles when it is hit by light.

The piece measures 16"x20".

Very colorful portrayal of a bellydancer with a snake wrapped around her neck. I used metallic acrylic paint for her coin belt and bra. Fluorescent colors were also used to create glowing skin tones.
The painting is ready to be hung.
