This handwoven scarf is a very soft one! It is handwoven of chunky rayon and cotton chenille fibers and as a result is thick, and very snuggly! The variegated yarn runs from light to deeper pastel shades of a yellows, golds,oranges and pinks. The rayon chenille is space dyed here in my studio. The colors are scrumptious!

It measures a very generous 64" in length and 5 1/2" in width so it will wrap once or knot easily.

Perfect for an autumn walk in the woods or a winter nighttime outing, this beauty is a winner!

A really beautiful coat scarf handwoven of a selection of boucle's, rayons and angora fibers. The colors are stunning and the texture quite elegant. I would recommend this as a coat scarf because the hand is not quite as fluid as a dress scarf would be, and the weight lends itself to outerwear more readily.

Spotted Google Eye Artdoll Hand Puppet

Another one of these wonderful happy google eyed handpuppets… This guy sports a top-knot of green and purple, black and moss colored head feathers, a froggy green face, and a leopard spotted body. He even has spikes running down his spine. Feathers, feathers, feathers everywhere!

My son (Brett Eves) designed and sculpted the original face. He then casts it and creates a latex head which I paint and seal. The body is constructed of heavy weight tapestry fabric and measures 15” in length which is plenty to reach the elbow of an adult.

Wait til you see how animated this hand puppet becomes once you slip your hand inside and bring him to life! Hours of fun and a great work of art to sit atop a bookshelf or table…..

These puppets are not meant for young children without adult supervision. They are sturdily constructed but will not withstand “tough love”. You can spend hours of your time playing together, let him read to your little ones, or travel together to the classroom. He's ready for any of it!

In Mother's Honor

When I think of Mom, I think of those long walks on the beach hand in hand, curling up on a warm loving lap and snuggling, and hours spent just being close. I felt so loved and cherished as a little girl and I owe it all to her!

This year, in honor of my mother, I designed and wove what I hope is a fitting bit of gratitude for all she has given me. I took the softest cream and white fibers I could find and wound them into a mixed warp. Then I wove a simple triangular shawl. The magic happened after that....a dye bath of orange and yellow used with a low water immersion dyeing technique, produced this beautiful addition to any wardrobe!

Measuring 39" across the top and 13" from neckline to bottom point, it is the perfect size to wear either as a shawl, neckerchief style, or draped in front inside a jacket or over a dress. The fringe is oh so soft (just like Mom) and 6" in length.

I wear this style scarf year round and I bet you (or your mom) will too!

The perfect leprechaun and just in time for St. Patrick's Day! Jiminee is my absolute favorite! He is silly, sassy, and full of fun.

This unique, one of a kind artdoll is constructed of cotton and polymer clay, stuffed with polyester fiberfill, and embellished with everything my studio had to offer. Leather, feathers and beads add to the beautifully hand-painted face. Jiminee's body (Made from Allison Marano's -Faewyk Studios, pattern)is pleasingly plump in all the right places and his knobby knees are charming. Oversized feet, and long gangly arms wrapped in hand-dyed gauze, seem to make him only more enticing. He was featured in Art Doll Quarterly,(an international doll magazine published by Stampington & Co.) Vol. 4, Issue 1, Spring 2006, which means he's travelled the world and is, in his own right, quite famous! Jiminee's Vest is handwoven from lamb's wool. His hat is leather. And let's admit it....His smile is just loaded with elfish mischief!

He is an overall length of 17" and, as shown, measures 9" wide.
