Here is yet another fun and funky set of beads from one of my very favorite glass artists, Cher Cheley. Remarkably, I had matching handmade spacers - made by the coolest ladies on the planet...2womenonfire.

The largest bead is in the pendant and it's slightly larger than a quarter. Cher loves to make organic shapes and enjoys playing with color as much as I do (I just don't do it over an open flame!). The pendant will dangle a tiny bit longer than 1 3/4". The total length of the necklace is 19 3/4". I added ten handmade spacer beads that combine a deep plum and a deep teal, then are lightly etched, as are the focal beads. The color combination is striking! I also added Swarovski crystals and 100 percent sterling silver. I just love the two sterling silver balls, which I think look like underwater vessels of some sort.

The matching earrings will dangle 1 3/8" from your piercings from sterling silver kidney wires.

These are some very colorful beads, softened slightly by the etching process. This set is totally unique! Enjoy.

The five organically shaped lampwork beads were made by the talented Cher Cheley. I've added 14 handmade artisan lampwork beads in a cooridinating Capri blue, 20 Hemalyke beads, and lots of sterling silver beads, bead caps and toggle. It is 22 1/4" long. The beads are about the size of quarters.

When I ripped open the packaging that this set of lampwork beads came in, I gasped. My 6-year-old son said, "Mommy? Is this your favorite set of beads EVER?" I think I answer "yes" to that question for most of my lampwork sets...but this one is extra special. I've held on to it for well over a year, admiring it.

The five 20mm button beads were made by an artist in Georgia named Vivian. I wish I could remember her last name so I could buy more beads! She made some of the spacers, however the majority of the matching 44 (yes, I said FORTY FOUR!) came from the torches of at least two other artists. All total there are 49 handmade, artisan lampwork beads in this gorgeous set. I've even thrown in a couple dark brown dream agate round stones for contrast. The sterling silver flower beads are beautiful.

The Incredible Mr. Limpet is one of my favorite movies! I have no idea why...I am not a Don Knotts fan. Maybe it's the animation that keeps my attention.

The gorgeous handmade lampwork beads were made by the very talented Isabelle McLean. There are 18 beautiful HANDMADE glass lampwork beads in this set. The beads are are a striking mix of copper green, sea foam, red , black and white, and then encased in clear. The four round tab beads, each one unique, are approximately 18mm x 18mm. The tabular focal is 18mm x 28mm, and the nugget in the bracelet is 15mm x 20mm. The round beads average 7 mm x 12 mm.

The necklace is 19 inches long. The bracelet is 7 inches long. I’ve added a pair of matching earrings, which dangle ¾ inch from sterling silver earring wires.

This necklace has a story. I bought these lampwork crystal beads from an etsy artist because I loved the shape and colors. I had the sterling silver lantern beads so stringing the focal part of the necklace was the simple part. Once I had that done I struggled with deciding what to do to turn this into a necklace. Several weeks later I was at a bead show and I found this beautiful diamond link chain and knew it would look great with my half-finished necklace at home.

So, this necklace is the result of buying what I like, when I see it, and storing it until I have a great necklace.

The three crystal beads are handmade. Two are 18mm from hole to hole, and 10mm on each side. The larger one is 21mm hole to hole, and 18mm on each side. The six 7mm x 10mm spacers are also handmade lampwork beads.

The chain and clasp are sterling silver.

This stone pendant is Impression Jasper—40 mm long and 30 mm wide. The teardrops are also Jasper, I think! These have got to be some of the most interesting beads I’ve ever found. The artist is Maryse Thillens in Luxembourg, Germany. Maryse calls this set Prickly Cactus Flowers. They are “flowers” combined with light pink dots and silvered ivory stems. The color of the base bead is transparent teal. There are seven flat free-formed beads measuring from 29 x 20mm to 36 x 24mm each. The two multi-dotted beads measure 12 x 15mm each and the eight teal spacers are approximately 8 x 10mm.

I really didn’t have to do much with these beads. I simply added light teal oval glass beads, Ernite Swarovski crystals, sterling silver daisy spacers, sterling silver toggle clasp, wire guides and crimps. These cactus flowers won’t prick you, but they do have a terrific texture to them.

It is 21 ¾” inches long. The pendant portion is 2 ¼” inches hanging from a sterling silver wire-wrapped headpin.

I just can’t stop smiling when I look at this necklace. It’s just so fun and interesting. You’ll have to let me know how many people stop you on the street and ask to see your necklace. How much fun will it be to say your cactus flowers are handmade. Who knew there were cactus in Germany?

This pair of dangle earrings hang approximately 1 inch from sterling silver kidney wires. The lime beads are handmade artisan lampwork beads, 8mm x 5mm. I've added sterling silver tubes and sterling silver bead caps. The earrings are stacked and wrapped on sterling silver headpins. They will hang approximately 1 7/8 inches from your piercing.

These earrings have a nice tropic feel to them iwth the soft teal and blues. I used two handmade artisan lampwork beads, and capped them off with sterling silver bead caps. I also used ten seamless sterling silver round beads, six 4mm Swarovski crystals, and all sterling silver components, including the sterling silver loop earring wires. These dangle a nice 2.5" inches for lots of swing!

I just love these beads! They are handmade lampwork beads made by a glass artist. I just love the treatment of the glass and the way it appears marbled or textured in some way. Very interesting!

I've added clear 4mm Swarovski crystals along with fancy sterling silver bead caps. They dangle approximately 7/8" from sterling silver leverbacks.
