i have a *twiggy paper doll with a whole collection of clothes...and why not take photos of twiggy showing off wonderful vintage and fun and funky clothes for each season....and turn it into a 2010 set of 12 postcard sized glossy calendar sheets.

a large letter above the dates shows what month it is (J for January, F for February)...and there is a number written on the back so you know you have the right m or a or j. the letter color compliments the color of twiggy's outfit.

a fun little story about the order i made up about these 4 magnets:
first you eat a piece of fruit, then you use the juice of the fruit to mix with the liquor. then you keep doing that until your head gets fuzzy. that's where the phone comes in to play. you make those crazy late night phone calls you always regret in the morning. and speaking of morning, that is where the coffee cup comes in. lots. of. coffee. for a hangover. perfect.

this lovely ol building is in Seward, Nebraska. right now it sits empty, but as the shop downstairs was in its final days, she offered me the opportunity to take what i wanted from the upstairs. of course i took, but i also took photos. and this is one of them.

a play on words, of course, that's how i like to do things.
"we have electricity" could be sent to a loved one. or a crush. or it could play on country mouse/city mouse. the liberty house bed and breakfast in seward sell these...and i think she also sends them to her client list...a funny reminder that they do, infact, have electricity.

I loved the show Young Riders. Loved it. The boys were Pony Express Riders and well, this card made me think of that show. It is a complete OOAK. The horse piece is a game piece of some sort and the sun which is vintage fabric all lay on retro denim fabric.

My two passions are photography and finding items to use in my work or sell to an artist or hobbiest that will love it as much as I. This card is a perfect example of the latter.
I also like playing around with the sewing machine. I am by far a novice, but I believe it adds to the beauty of this card.

a lovely little collection of gift tags. six of them to be exact. this little bird was pretty smug the foggy day when i took its photo. he ignored me, but was pretty sure he wanted nothing to do with me and almost walked right out of my view. but, a fast shutter finger stopped him in time.

each one is perforated so once it's done, you can easily tear it away.

vintage. simple put, i love all things vintage. i adore finding, using, selling, making with, all things vintage.

i use all parts of vinyl records. the covers are made into journal covers. the jackets are used for paper in my journals. and the vinyl? they are made into one of a kind bowls. each one is different but wonderful!
