A handcrafted sterling leaf centerpiece is adorned with tiny, richly earthtoned faceted Tourmaline using sterling wire. The band of the bracelet is made up with rustic Spessartite Garnet, which is a rusty orange-red-brown type of the stone. It fastens at the leaf with a sterling lobster clasp. The bracelet measures 7" or just under 18cm long, but has an extender chain that can lengthen it.

Metaphysical Properties:

This is beautiful Fluorite- barrel-shaped beads in natural, soft tropical tones of aqua, teal, green, and purple. Each barrel is a bit different in color, pattern, and translucency (most are quite clear), but all are lovely. Some have a subtle color that is almost solid, while others have a more intense shade, bands of color, or swirls of several colors. A few have patches of schiller (silvery iridescence). Beads are roughly 10x8mm and center-drilled.

This striking handcrafted pendant of sterling silver and Andalusite has an air of gothic romance. Andalusite (rare in this large size) is one of my favorite stones- it is a unique and stunning earthy rose-rust-brown-bronze color that glints with gorgeous green and rose-red as the light shifts (called pleochroism). The faceted teardrop stone is gracefully suspended at the center of a handformed hammered oval pendant, and is adorned above with a sparkling stone of Smoky Topaz.

The necklace hangs from a long, delicate cable link sterling silver chain and is approx. 20 1/4" or 51.7cm long. It fastens with a handformed sterling toggle clasp. The pendant drops 1 3/8" or 36mm.

Every year I become infatuated with a magnolia tree down the block from where I live, enraptured by its overflowing, exquisite flowers one day, and heartbroken after confusedly finding it almost totally flowerless the very next. The Chinese magnolia, with its lush foliage and profuse, fragrant blossoms, has been a symbol of purity for thousands of years. The magnolia also represents feminine beauty, gentleness, and sweetness.

My artist, or signature, seal is in the bottom left corner. The smaller seal slightly above that means "source of beauty." Each seal was pressed into a tin of cinnabar paste and impressed onto the rice paper after mounting.

Dimensions: A smaller painting on 7 3/8 x 5 1/4" rice paper mounted on 6 1/4 x 11" acid-free watercolor paper. Painting is not matted or framed.

Beauty of Narcissus- Original Chinese Brush Painting

There is a Greek myth that tells of an extraordinarily beautiful young man named Narcissus who one day came upon a spring in the mountains in which he happened to see his reflection. Falling so in love with his image that he refused to leave, he eventually wasted away there and turned into the flower Narcissus, said to bow down to its image in the water. Not surprising that one of the flower's many meanings is conceit and egotism! The "official" Chinese New Year plant, the lovely, fragrant Narcissus also signifies change, a pure heart and soul, and good fortune and prosperity.

This is a mini-painting done in ink wash on watercolor paper.
In the painting's lower right corner is my square artist or signature seal, which was dipped into red cinnabar paste and then impressed onto the paper.

A gorgeous deep red faceted Red Jasper briolette is wire-wrapped onto a handcrafted sterling silver centerpiece in this unique necklace. This is a sweet pendant of Russian Charoite, Bali sterling spacers faceted & sparkly Amethyst rondelles. The Charoite towards the front of this necklace is swirled with lovely shades of lavender and deeper purple with pink and milky white. They have a silvery shimmer, or chatoyancy (an optical phenomenon caused by light reflecting from thread-like inclusions in the stone). The Charoite that makes up the remainder of the necklace is a bit different, with darker purples swirled with purple-black with a somewhat glittery shine. Faceted Amethyst rondelles, both pale lavender and rich royal purple, help to pull out the gentle vibrancy of the Charoite’s colors.

Elegantly simple, this necklace centers around a hammered sterling silver circle embraced on either side by small strings of faceted, hand-cut Rainbow Moonstone with subtle and lovely flashes of blue-aqua and purple (much lovelier than in photo). A rare, extraordinary stone in a simple, intriguing necklace. This larger, freeform, genuine Blue Lace Agate is a "druzy", which is the inside layer of small, sparkly crystals inside of a geode (and certain other rocks). Like a secret little cave of sparkling treasures, this soft, pale blue stone has been sliced to reveal it's natural layers. It has some minor, natural brownish surface markings (see photos). The Blue Lace Agate is suspended from a shiny flat-link oval cable chain and fastens with a floral fine silver Hill Tribe toggle clasp.

Victorian-style pressed brass filigree pendant drips with jewels of Apatite, Amazonite, and Peridot. The pendant, with it's beautiful details and design, hangs from an elegant brass ladder chain with the same honey-toned patina and aged look. Brass has been purchased from wonderful Etsy sellers and is solid, unplated, and nickel&lead-free.

Hill Tribe Silver 6x5mm Barrel Spacer Beads (2)

Lovely, high-content silver spacer beads with fine detail and lots of versatility. Each little 6x5mm barrel-shaped bead has a striking oxidized silver finish and a silver content of at least 97% (typically, sterling contains 92.5% silver). And these have large holes for easy beading. The beads are crafted completely by highly-skilled artisans of the Karen Hill Tribe of Northern Thailand using traditional methods of hand-tooling, each creation a unique reflection of Hill Tribe culture. Because each piece is hand-crafted, minor imperfections and differences in size and weight are sometimes present, but these only add to the charm and character!
