This is a special little shirt. Highlights:

A very cute little mod jumper, with o-ring straps, and faux pockets. This dress is in great condition, despite a shredded tag, and a few unraveled bits around the edges (on the inside of the dress, and not visible).

The label (what's left of it) says "Richard Shop". It's probably a synthetic (with wool?) mix, I would say a size small. It comes down to graze the upper thigh. This is definitely a LEG dress, but would be dapper with skinny jeans too, I think. :)

Late 50s Early 60s BLACK LACE Bow Dress EMPIRE Waist Small Med

Up for your consideration is this lovely late 50's-early 60's (my estimate) cocktail dress. It has many cute features:

~empire waist, with a sweet BOW at the front
~cross-over bodice in peach silky material, covered in black lace
~transparent filmy black 'cover-up' on top of bodice for a sexy but demure look

It's in good vintage condition with a few mild demerits:

-a small white mark (pencil-tip size) on left side of bow
-threads that hold bow on have become looser over time, and it's drooping a bit
-teeny-tiny (pencil-tip) size hole in transparent cover-up at back
-some loose threads inside the dress, not seen
-the built-in breast cups have stiffened over time, but are still in good condition

Vintage 50s Soft Black Fully BEADED Cardigan MED Pearl Buttons

***Please excuse the terrible photo quality, the last photo is the most accurate as far as how black this sweater is***

A sweet and gorgeous little cardigan. Could very well be cashmere (it is extremely soft), but as there is no tag, your guess is as good as mine. The beadwork is almost perfect, and is very heavy and ornate. It has all its pearl buttons sturdily intact, and is very close to mint. There are 2 minor flaws that I could find:

-the silky black 'liner' inside is very shredded, but isn't visible.
-I found one string of beads at the back that have unraveled. It would be fixable, but is otherwise quite unnoticeable.

~shoulders are 16" apart
~20" long sleeves
~my estimate is that it would fit a medium to large

Up for your consideration is this lovely muslin dream. It's sheer, has a very flattering smocked bodice, and ruffly little butterfly sleeves. It's very, very soft. The kind of softness that only comes with age, and gentle handling.

~florals and paisley pattern
~colours are amethyst, olive, soft peach, pink, and blue on vanilla-coloured muslin
~dress is lined in thin, satin-like cream-coloured material
~ties at back for cinching
~appears to be handmade, no tag
~fits like a small, but is somewhat flexible because of the ties (could be made much smaller)

This dress is not in mint condition, but is in good vintage condition with no stains or marks that I could find:

~lots of loose threads, but they're almost all on the inside of the dress
~hem needs one long running stitch, it's starting to unravel
~two ruffles have little bits that are starting to unravel
~top of zipper needs to be trimmed

A great little 70's shirt with a psychedelic hippie print of colourful mushrooms on it. The colours are just like an Autumn forest panorama: maroon, apple green, mauve, bright blue, purple, hot pink.

I believe the 'Fly Agaric' features prominently. It's also more commonly known as the Magic Mushroom of 1960's fame.

I just love these mushrooms....they are really cute. I hate to let this shirt go, but I am really trying to purge my closets heavily right now, so TAKE IT AWAY!

Vintage 60s LILLY PULITZER Ruched Panel MAXI Dress Size 5 6 7 8 Pale Aqua

Yes, it's a real LILLY. :)

It's a lovely dress on too. Very flattering, much more so than the pictures suggest. She knew how to design a flattering, but comfy dress.

This dress was originally bought at Lord & Taylor (Fifth Avenue). The tag says size 8, but I found it to be very cute on me, and I'm a size 4. Hand wash only, the tag says.

This dress has been hemmed, but very well. All the inside seams have been finished with white lace. So there is a panel at the bottom where it could be let down even more, but in my opinion it is at the perfect length (just above the ankle on me).

I have seen this identical dress for sale for $200. So why is this one only $40? Because it has a fair sized stain just above where your right knee would be. It's visible in the photos, but not very dark. I haven't tried to get it out, so it's possible it might be fixable.

A worthy dress if you are a collector. Or just a cute summer dress, with caché in the 60's fashion world. :)
