The interior has a small pocket - large enough to hold ID or a credit card. The purse is made from metallic leather, is lightly padded, and lined in a polyester satin. Lining color will vary from attached pics, but will be a colorful print.

Artisan Leather Clutch - The Crane Wife

This is the first in the Artisan Clutch collection. My goal was to create a more functional purse, while still maintain the whimsy of my other pieces. This purse is inspired by the Japanese folktale, and where my shop name comes from, The Crane Wife.

The purse is made of metallic silver leather. The accents are in metallic red leather, and matte black leather. The purse has a layer of mid-weight fusing to give structure. The interior is lined in polyster satin.

The flap of the clutch is the crane's wing covered with 2-ply leather feathers, all individually handcut so that each purse will be unique. Feathers are stitched down along the top edge of each feather to create a heavenly texture. On the front body is the head of the crane, which has a slight layer of foam for added dimension.

Purse closes with a magnetic closure. The side of the purse has a gusset for added width, which has a stitched pleat at the top to prevent the purse from falling open.

Purses measures 11" (28.2) long, 4 1/2" (11cm) tall. Gusset is 3 1/4" (8cm) wide when the purse is open.

Each mouse is made in metallic gold leather. It's 3 5/8" (9cm) wide (not including his ears) and 3 1/8" (8cm) tall. The front of his ears are metallic pink leather, with non-metallic leather using being used for the white buck teeth and orange cheese. Pupils are painted onto white leather eyes. The head is lightly padded, and folds over the body and has a black and silver brass snap closure.

The change purse holds, well, change! It can also fit subway tokens, or earbud headphone, or other little treasures that you need your new friend to hold onto.
