PInky the Art Doll Pin Brooch

$16.00
Pinky is one of my more unusual pins. He has a different shape to my well-known Flapper inspired pins elsewhere in the Whskr store.

His shape was drawn onto cotton, which was stamped and stained with fabric paint before being machine sewn, carefully stuffed, and finally edged with Jo Sonja Rich Gold acrylic paint.

Pinky is a departure from my usual shapes for doll pins in that he has legs! I loved the handmade fabric I had made for him and he was just the shape for the idea I had. He is unusual but I find him very appealing!

Height/Materials : Height 5ins/14cms high. Face of moulded and painted clay with a slightly glossy varnish finish. A brooch pin is secured to his back with clear thread.

Back to Whskr's store http://www.etsy.com/shop/WHSKR

The Lace Knitter an Art Doll Pin Brooch

She is quite a statement piece and will be loved by anyone who enjoys unusual and creative ideas.

'Lace' stands 5ins/14cms high, is feminine and pretty and dressed in the softest of pastel creamy orange shades (textile paint - Jacquard). She is hand drawn on cotton, hand stuffed and painted. Her small delicate arms that are separate from her body.

I had a lot of fun dressing my favourite knitter in a delicate skirt and shawl made from recycled lace fragments which I then embellished with hand sewn small tangerine glass beads and a tiny star sequin.

The Lace Knitter can be worn either as a pin brooch (sewn on the back) or hung on a ribbon as a cute piece of knitting art on your wall.

She carries a small black rose and a little silver cat face.

I have made Sally from cotton, she is hand drawn then painted with high quality Jacquard fabric paint in a pretty feminine shade of lilac edged in sky blue.

Sally definitely wanted to show off so I dressed her in shining pink, mauve, and pearly sequins which I hand sewed into place, along with the ribbon rose and the cute little kitty face near the hem of her gown!

All this is topped off with a cute laser button face. I love the clear and defined featured I find on these buttons, they are a pleasure to incorporate into my work.

Sally will be sent in a chiffon gift bag for storage when not in use.

Dimensions and materials :-

Sally is 5ins/14.5ms high approx.
Cotton
Brooch back on reverse for wear or hanging
Sequins
Glass beads

Simpler, but still fun and here to make you smile! She is 5 ins/14 cms tall approx., made from cotton and painted with pastel fabric paint.

Serenity was then embellished with daisy sequins and beads and silver clips used as a skirt hem. Her moulded face of polymer clay is fixed to her fabric body with high quality fabric glue as I found that Serenity ended up with holes in her face when I tried sewing it down ;-)

Finally, she is topped of with a mop of red wire hair and the overall effect is just such fun.

Each of my brooches is sent in a chiffon bag which can be used for storage when she is not being worn.

Back to Whskr's store http://www.etsy.com/shop/WHSKR

Lemon and Lime Lucy Art Doll Pin

$19.00
Lemon and Lime or just Lucy for short, is one of my sweet and simple pins, here to make you smile!

Like all of the Whskr Art Doll pins she is made from cotton, machine sewn and carefully hand stuffed before being embellished.

Lucy is painted with lemon yellow paint then decorated with a sparkly lime green sash. It's such a contrast and great fun too. Her face is a laser cut button which gives nice sharp features, and her back has a brooch back sewn on to it.

Whskr pins are robust enough to sit happily on a jacket or coat and when not being work are happy to hang in a loop of ribbon as decoration on your wall.

Height/Materials :- 5 ins/14 cms tall approx., cotton, pastel fabric paint embellished with a flourishing sash of curvy lime.

Back to Whskr's store http://www.etsy.com/shop/WHSKR
