That's right Hairy thinks you're fucking beautiful!

Sometimes you're just feeling down, wanna pull the covers over your head and stay in bed all day. Now you can feel like that and have a hand printed poster of a Hairy saying "You're Fuckin' Beautiful" hanging right next to you. Plus you'll know deep down in your heart that Hairy would wanna stay right there in bed with you cause he's hot for your steaming moist snack cake like 20 Chunks at the Hostess factory.

In the now infamous words Hairy spoke to an audience of quadrizzlilions (a number I just made up, it's a lot trust me) of thousands while touring a sausage factory in France "I'd have a porkfest with each and every one of you and still let Sarkozy show me his doucher towel dance for one more of those awesome snausages". Now exactly what that quote has to do with this poster has yet to be determined.

We joked about it long enough, it was time to make dreams come true! Please allow us to introduce our first EVER pair of beef jerky underwear we call BRIEF JERKY. Note the time and care that has gone into crafting this wonderful undergarment. The attention to the properly placed groments that enhance the wearers comfort! We've even "bedazzled" this pair and added our Mixed Species logo on the back next to a heart of rhinestones. All in time for Father's Day!

We consider these to be the first in "meat haute coutoure". They are made to order for each specific customer from the highest quality of dried preserved meats we can find at the closest convenience store. This particular pair was created to fit our very own model Hairy McSpecies! We will be adding his "action shots" soon. Currently there are too many good photos to choose from. Rumor has it that wearing our BRIEF JERKY undergarments will release their natural pheremones once your body heat and moisture kicks in!

Please keep in mind the Brief Jerky are made out of real untreated jerky! They are way more for “show” than “go”. Brief Jerky is NOT for consumption. If you wear them, please be gentle. Using this hand printed canvas grocery/tote bag is a life transforming experience. We used one on a recent trip to 7-Eleven to purchase a six pack of Miller High Life. It was such an enjoyable experience we could of sworn we were at Whole Foods purchasing a six pack of organic wheat Hefeweisen!

There just happened to be a very nice aerobic clown instructor taking pictures of old buildings to snap this photo for us.

Today I'm not a ho daily affirmation shirt is to help keep you on track, all you need to do is look down or in the mirror (if you can read backwards). Scientists at Mixed Species HQ lab have observed promising changes in the actions of rabbits wearing these shirts. We even went so far as to load the little fur balls up on Viagra and though extreme tenting was observed they still kept their paws off each other (a few did explode but we don't believe the shirt was the cause). A bay area native, super artist and rad friend Annika Bastacky currently attends the studio arts program at Vassar where she not only creates fantastic art but also hosts an uber hip radio show till the wee hours. Annika was cool enough to team up the Mixed Species dudes to produce a shirt of her kick ass design Little Rascals. Please allow us to introduce Poppa McSpecies! He made a brief appearance in the trunk of a car in another infamous Mixed Species photo. Poppa McSpecies lovingly handrafted the new RADICOOL hoodies and tees. He made for himself the holy grail of RADICOOL hoodies circa Flashdance 1983! (note the lack of sleeves and the torn V-neck) We all wanted Poppa's hoody. The only way we could have it was to play Poppa Mixed Species at hoops. One problem Poppa doesn't know how to play hoops. 5 minutes of sheer carnage followed by a makeshift splint followed. Poppa kept his hoody.

OK - Here's the Proof! The 5' Colon Plushy has worked it's way into urban mythology before we could say POOP. But now, we release .. the krakken.

But first - the background story.

A little more than a year ago one of the Mixed Species guys became deathly ill. At the last Mixed Species PowWow in Seattle he couldn't even drink!? This was the first brush with mortality for the Mixed Species guys. As the fallen one remained incapacitated; gifts, flowers and cards poured in. Soon recovery would be had, but yet one of the Mixed Species guys had not yet offered his condolences. Giving room for variations of grieving, healing and even denial it still seemed odd that he had yet to touch base. Then one Friday evening there was a knock at the door, interestingly a package was delivered from a man in brown! Meals were finished, plates were cleaned and as the recovering one headed back to bed he decided to open the box.

Inside, was one of the funniest thing's he'd ever seen. A 5' Colon Plushy,festooned with a stripe of polyps running it's entire length and coiled up in a box like a healthy Colon Cobra ready to strike. Gently inserted in the red bag in the end of the plushy (designated "anus" in the diagramed pamphlet) was a Baby Ruth in hopes of a healthy colon functioning once again. Laughter insued. The colon plushy was examined and so was the attached pamphlet full of pictures of the plushy being made! This will always remain as one of the best gifts ever and now we share it with you.

Often times we compose some out there jazz for our product descriptions, by way of that we ran into some trouble with this artist series design by Shawn Wolfe. Some of us are insane fans of his work to the point that the description had potential to end being a blathering strokefest. Below are the ideas Face McSpecies came up busted in traditional MS style. Read through them them, reread which ever of them entices you buy the shirt then buy it and one for a friend.

1.) When we think of the future we are excited and scared at the same time. Or maybe just scared to be excited or just ... nauseosly optimistic.

2.) Have you ever been around someone who CONSTANTLY has to see the "bright" side of every topic so much that you literally consider peeing on them and while calling them a "parade"? HA! Nauseous optimism.

3.) Often when the MixedSpecies guys get together an inordinate amount of libations are consumed. There's nothing like a good projectile vomit to keep the party flow going and get you back to drinking. We'd call that nauseously optimistic as well.

OR

Upon recent experiments in the Mixed Species Research & Development center we have determined that there is nothing more straight up RAWK thank two unicorns vomiting rainbows. We often feel the same way when we think about our future. Kinda scared, kind excited and kinda nauseous. But at the end of the day when we have all gathered around the Mixed Species communal BBQ there's nothing better than a good projectile vomit launch of optimism to get us back to drinking and coming up with more ideas.

Well we are sure Mr. Shawn Wolfe probably had something different in mind with this design. To be honest we aren't sure how he ever allowed us to grope one of his concepts!

The photo in the print was taken by Terry Richardson of American Apparel fame after he and Hairy stole a rig from the po-po following the "celebration of life" for Hunter S. Thompson. Johnny Depp was in the backseat but asked to "photo-shopped" out as he's too much of a pussy to get his public freak on.

As all of these shirts have been hand dyed twice and airbrushed, none of them are exactly the same.

Today I'm not a ho daily affirmation shirt is to help keep you on track, all you need to do is look down or in the mirror (if you can read backwards). Scientists at Mixed Species HQ lab have observed promising changes in the actions of rabbits wearing these shirts. THIS year is going to be a VERY Merry Christmas whether you like it or not! We love Christmas at Mixed Species. Each year around the holiday season the Mixed Species guys get together to celebrate. "Hey, where's the eggnog in my rum?" Things are worn that probably shouldn't be, wives and girlfriends shake their heads in disappointment, someone tries to jump off the roof and we all laugh and ring in another happy holiday season!

These little cards we've created endure all the ups and downs of the holidays! The cover has a cityscape being blasted with an incoming barrage of Christmas ornaments.

There are two different messages inside the cards.

Message #1: "May an apocalypse of joy reign over the season". This card has been rated +1 on the Mixed Species holiday cheer scale (the word apocalypse has a -1 holiday cheer rating but the word joy has a +2 rating!).

Message #2: We kept it simple. "The weather outside is frightful" is just a personal favorite, maybe because we are all from the northwest!

The back of the cards have been printed with a classic mid century modern pattern and our Mixed Species logo. This pack of four cards comes with two cards of each message, 4 envelopes and is bound together with a recycled album cover.
