This necklace is from my new "From The Earth" Collection, where I combine antiqued Sterling Silver with 14K Gold Filled or Shiny Sterling Silver together, for a very unique and 'organic' look. The darkened Silver makes the other elements 'Pop'!

You can tell that I was in a very creative mood when I designed this artsy necklace. I love asymmetry, but it has do be created in a balanced way, if that makes sense. This is that type of piece that you would find in the jewelry section of a fine art gallery, such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art stores. I love the contrast of the darkened Sterling Silver with the gemstones, and the highlight of 14K Gold Filled here and there.

The one of a kind AAA faceted free form Honey Quartz gemstone is very large, measuring in at 10 x 26mm, (5/16" x 1"), I dropped it as well as Rhodolite Garnets, Spessarites, Lemon Topaz, and Andalusite from a 15mm Vermeil Circle. The chain is adjustable 16" - 17 1/2", has a lobster clasp, and a 'Theresa Mink' signature tag. I had alot of fun making this necklace.

I present to you another of my new Statement Cocktail rings. My Rings are completely handcrafted by Moi. I cast, sculpt, and polish each ring individually, to fit the shape of the piece I attach to it. Each ring will be unique, but rest assured, you will receive the one pictured. Look for more to come - composed of genuine minerals such as Azurite, Amethyst, Citrine, Rhodocrosite, Blue Mystic Crystal, etc.

Working with free-form minerals is very difficult. At times they are just the perfect size, but they aren't usually flat at the bottom, so I have to grind them down. Making them sit atop my handcrafted lucite rings perfectly, is a time consuming process - sculpting and sanding the lucite, grinding the stone/mineral...you get my gist.

This is just what I had to do for this ring. I spent much time re-forming this beautifully rich purple-colored Amethyst geode mineral, still keeping it's slightly asymmetrical, unique form. I attached it very securely to the lucite ring.

The measurements are approximately: 26 x 16mm, and the overall height, is 17mm. This ring is a size 7-7 1/4. I will be making more in various sizes. If you would like to purchase one in your size, please contact me.

This ring is waterproof, and not too delicate. (I did apply a clear epoxy coat along the outer crystals for extra protection). But, as with all mineral rings, I recommend that you not wear this as an everyday ring.

Aahhh...the colors of Autumn! When selecting these colors, I knew that I had to add leaves to the design. I have been making and selling this style earring for a long time now - chains and gemstones dangling from circles. I guess I would have to say that this is my 'Signature Style', because I've never seen anything like it.
The focal gemstones on these earrings are large, 7.25 carat micro-faceted Lemon Topaz, also known as 'Oro Verde' Topaz, (Green Gold Topaz). I added faceted Mandarin Spessarite Garnet, Green Apatite, Peridot, and very rare yellow Opals. I accented them with the cutest little 14K Gold Filled leaves! The chains and gems drop from 15mm hammered 14K Gold Filled circles. They drop 47mm, (almost 2") from the bottom of the 14K Gold Filled ear wires. All of the gemstones are flawless AAA quality, and very sparkly. I will include clear plastic ear nuts to slide up to the back of the earlobe so that you don't loose these museum quality beauties.
14K Gold Filled does not tarnish or wear off - it will last a lifetime.

I absolutely love this bracelet! (I love color). I used fairly large gemstones so that they really 'pop'. The gems are of excellent quality with very few inclusions. I have decided to make this one of my new 'Collections'. I will be making bracelets and necklaces in both Vermeil/Gold Fill and Sterling Silver. They can be worn alone or layered with other bracelets.
To begin with, for size reference, the center gemstone which is a beautiful Apatite is 7 x 10mm. The other gems include Spessarite Garnet, Yellow Opal, Peridot, Iolite, Lilac Amethyst, Rhodolite Garnet, Rubilite Tourmaline, Green Tourmaline, Chrome Diopside, Aquamarine, Kyanite, and Citrine. I purposely did not use pears, briolettes, or marquise shapes because they tend to be more delicate. I accented these colorful gems with various styles and sizes of Vermeil beads, spacers, and caps that were handmade in Bali. I strung these beads on 49 strand gold beading wire, which is the top of the line, the strongest and yet the most flexible. I double crimped each end for extra security. The bracelet is adjustable 7"-8 1/4". I can make it a little larger if necessary. It has a 14K Gold Filled lobster clasp and 'Theresa Mink' signature tag.

For these very unique, multi textured Artisan earrings, I first wrapped hair-thin wire around 20mm circles, then oxidized them. I added shiny, hammered circles and oxidized, decorative circles that were hand-made in Bali. Dropping from these hoops are AAA quality briolettes of Rhodolite, (Pink Garnet), Mystic Pink Topaz, Spessarite, (Mandarin Garnet), and chains that have 2mm smooth round Rhodolite dangles. This beautiful Pendant was made by carefully placing a Madagascar Sunset Moth wing, (this is a lower wing, the upper wings are the colorful ones available in my shop), between two pieces of thin glass. I then soldered them together with lead-free Silver Solder. It is preserved for eternity! I accentuated it with a beautifully detailed Sterling Silver Butterfly, and a decorative bail that was hand made in Bali. I chose a medium size Sterling Silver Rolo chain that I thought was a good balance. The Pendant, including the bail, measures approximately 2 1/4" long and almost 1" wide. The chain is adjustable 17 1/2" to 18 1/2". It has a lobster clasp and includes a 'Theresa Mink signature tag. I have included a picture of the back of the wing, which is equally as beautiful...it glows in shades of aqua, rather than bright green. These butterflies are farm raised and have expired naturally.

I was astounded with the size and beauty of these pearls. When I saw the price of the strand however, I walked away, (fast!). But I couldn't get them out of my mind. I wisely justified the price after figuring out how to make them go a long way.
The Biwa Pearls are a rich medium dark green, with subtle flashes of teal, pink, and purple. The Pearls measure approximately 20 x 26mm, (3/4" x 1"), and have such an interesting character. The pearls that I have vary slightly, but if you buy them before someone else does, you will receive the ones pictured.
I dropped them from Gold Vermeil Leaf post ear wires, for a simple and very classic look. I love the look of Vermeil because it has the rich color of 24k Gold, (Vermeil is 24K thick gold plate over Sterling Silver).
The overall length from top of leaf to bottom of Pearl is 40mm, (1 1/2").

What a unique, one-of-a-kind necklace this is! I bought several beautiful Agate slices on my last buying trip, not knowing what I would do with them. They sat in my supply box for 7 months. Then, I began to see jewelry made with sliced Agate popping up! For example I saw an Agate necklace at a stylish, upscale boutique. The necklace was $90 and it was just the plain agate slice hanging from a chain. So, I put my thinking cap on and came up with a very different design - unlike any other.
Within the sparkly crystal wall of the geode Agate I dangled a large 14mm micro faceted Prasiolite Briolette, (also known as Green Amethyst). I embelished the top of the Agate with rich jewel tones using faceted gems of green Garnet, red Garnet, pink Rhodolite Garnet, and Peridot. The Agate is a soft dark brown color with greyish-white markings. The size of the pendant is 22 x 40mm, (approx 1 x 1 3/4"). These are some of the most beautiful Blue Topaz that I've ever seen. They are flawless gem quality and are micro faceted, so they sparkle immensely. These pears measure approximately 9 x 11mm. This is certainly an unusual color combination that I came up with. I love it! For these I used large faceted Prasiolite gemstones, (a.k.a green Amethyst). They are 10 x 13mm, and are 3 carats each. Well...they aren't as large as the Pink Panther, but they are every bit as stunning!
I really do love this color combination - the colors compliment each other so well. The large 8 x 12mm Rose Quartz briolettes are beautifully faceted in a diamond pattern. They are a very pale, soft pink color. The pink Rhodolite Garnets are red-violet, and the Iolite are blue, with a hint of purple. I wrapped these gorgeous gemstones around the Rose Quartz with 14K Gold Filled wire. This is one of my favorite color combinations! These Sea Treasures include many shapes and sizes of Kyanite, Apatite, and Iolite. I set off these beautiful blue colors by incorporating Keishi, Coin, and Biwa Pearls, as well as Sterling Silver Shells and other intricate beads that were hand made in Thailand. As the focal piece, I oxidized a 'rope' 15mm circle, and dropped from it a Sterling Silver seahorse, a large 6 x 10mm Apatite, Kyanite, and small pearls. This necklace is adjustable 15-17 1/2", has a lobster clasp, and a 'Theresa Mink' signature tag.

These are great, 'Go with everything' earrings. I designed these Sterling Silver earrings with large, faceted 14 x 18mm Tourmalinated Quartz* gemstones that I purchase on my most recent trip to Istanbul. * Tourmalinated Quartz has inclusions of an iron rich form of Tourmaline called Schorl. The color is milky to clear with inclusions of intricately crossing needles of black Schorl Tourmaline. Found in Brazil and Madagascar.
As a hardy member of the quartz family, tourmalinated quartz is not easily damaged. Clean in warm soapy water or in an ultrasonic jewelry cleaner.

Labradorite is one of my favorite gemstones. These in particular have amazing flashes of neon blue. These faceted briolettes measure 8 x 12mm. These are some of my favorite earrings! I absolutely love the color combination. I did something a little different here by having the gems spill out of 14K Gold Filled cones. First, I applied a brushed finish to the cones because I didn't want them to be shiny. Then I dangled faceted Peridot pears, rare yellow Apatite hearts, and all colors of Tourmaline hearts from a small cable chain. I formed the bezel pendant for this Lapiz by working with 14K Gold Filled hair-thin wire, meticulously wrapping and weaving it around the gemstone. This beautiful Lapiz specimin has flecks of gold which are actually the mineral called Iron Pyrite, also known as 'fool's gold'. (Lapiz is not to be mistaken for the more common gemstone, Sodalite, which has white veins and no gold flecks. The overall measurement of the pendant is 20 x 30mm, (approximately 3/4" x 1 3/8"). These white Keishi Pearls are awesome! They are large, measuring approximately 10 x 17mm. I wrapped flawless Rhodolite Pink Garnet, marquise Peridot, and green Tourmaline rondelles at the top of each pearl before dropping them from the 14K solid Gold lever back ear wires. The luster of the pearls is wonderful with subtle rainbow hints. The lever back ear wires have a 'shield' that is 3mm wide so that they look more substantial.
Keishi Pearls are also referred to as 'Snowflake' pearls, or 'Petal' pearls. They drop approximately 18mm, (3/4") from the bottom of the wires. They are much nicer in reality! They would sell for a pretty penny at a retail jewelry store!

Another necklace from my new "From The Earth" Collection, where I combine antiqued Sterling Silver with 14K Gold Filled or Shiny Sterling Silver together, for a very unique and 'organic' look. The darkened Silver makes the other elements 'Pop'!

I was in a very creative mood when I designed this artsy necklace. I love asymmetry, but it has to be created in a balanced way, if that makes sense. This is that type of piece that you would find in the jewelry section of a fine art gallery, such as the 'Metropolitan Museum of Art' stores. I love the contrast of the darkened Sterling Silver with the gemstones, and the highlight of shiny Sterling Silver here and there.

This one of a kind Australian Opal has wonderful color and fire, and is very large, measuring 11 x 20mm, (approximately 1/2" x 3/4"). It is called a 'doublet' because the opal is a thin slice of genuine Australian Opal that is adhered to another layer for depth and strength. The bottom layer is made to resemble a Boulder Opal in that the variegated brown colors look like a rock. This process reduces the cost of this gorgeous Opal immensely! (An Opal this size, quality, and with it's beautiful color/fire would sell for thousands of dollars).

I dropped the Opal, as well as AAA gemstones of faceted Kyanite marquise, Apatite cushion, Neon Blue Apatite pear, Aquamarine rondelle, and a Blue Topaz heart from a 16mm Sterling Silver Circle. The chain is adjustable 16 1/2" - 17 1/2", has a lobster clasp, and a 'Theresa Mink' signature tag.

A beautifully faceted 20mm Emerald from Jaipur, weighing approximately 19.55 carats. I accented the Emerald drop with a highly detailed Bali bead cap that is made of Vermeil. Vermeil is 24K Gold over Sterling Silver, therefore has the rich look and color of high carat gold. The overall length of the pendant is 25mm, or 1". I chose a nice, medium weight 14K Gold Filled bar chain for a good balance. The 9mm solid gold filled square bars, and little circles compliment the bead cap by giving it continuity. As a side note, the last two photos were pictures that I took while at the Bellagio in Las Vegas. I present to you my new Statement Cocktail rings. They are completely handcrafted by moi. I cast, sculpt, and polish each ring individually, to fit the shape of the piece I attach to it. Each ring will be unique. Look for more to come - composed of genuine minerals such as Azurite, Amethyst, Citrine, Rhodocrosite, Blue Mystic Crystal, etc.

For this particular ring, I used thick broken glass, securing it, piece by piece, to my handcrafted Lucite ring. The glass is a light greenish-aqua, and has many interesting angles. I have polished the edges of the glass so that there are no sharp edges.

The measurements are: 24 x 13mm, and the overall height, is 16mm. This ring is a size 5 1/2. I will be making more in various sizes. If you would like to purchase one in your size, please contact me.

Neoclassicism - Faceted Chrysoprase Rondelles, Keishi Pearls, Highly Detailed Gold Vermeil Earrings

My home is decorated in the Neoclassical style. As I was photographing these earrings with my furnishings in the background, it occurred to me how well they fit in with my home - ornate and gilded. Hence the name. These earrings are reminiscent of the high carat gold, handcrafted jewels that the ancient Greco-Roman women may have worn.
This is why I love Vermeil, (24K Gold over Sterling Silver).

After handcrafting the coiled head pins, I dropped a multitude of faceted Chrysoprase from the beautifully scrolled Vermeil drops. The Chrysoprase are especially nice because they have subtle color variations, which always represents a natural gem stone. The drops have 5mm bezel set pearls. At the bottom of each earring hangs 7 x 8mm Freshwater Keishi, (aka 'Petal'), pearls. The earrings drop 30cm, (1 1/4"), from the bottom of the 14K Gold Filled Ear wires, and are approximately 13mm, (1/2'),wide. I will include the clear plastic ear nuts for extra security. I slide my ear nuts all the way up behind my ear so that they are not visible.
These earrings are exquisite in their details and look VERY expensive. They are very dainty, but they also stand out.

These white Keishi Pearls are awesome! They are huge - the largest I've ever seen, (approximately 14 x 15mm, or over 1/2"). The luster is wonderful with hints of lilac, blue, and aqua. These classy pearls deserved nothing but the best setting, so I used 14K Gold beads, accents and wire, and beautiful lever backs that have a 'shield' so that they look substantial.
Keishi Pearls are also referred to as 'Snowflake' pearls, or 'Petal' pearls. These drop approximately 7/8" from the bottom of the lever back ear wires. They are much better in reality! They would sell for a pretty penny at a retail jewelry store!

For these dainty earrings I used faceted Rock Crystal, Mystic Topaz, Freshwater White and Peacock Pearls, and Moonstone. They are very neutral in color so they can be worn with anything. They drop approximately 20mm, ( a little over 3/4"), from the bottom of the Sterling Silver 'Fleur de Lis' lever back ear wires. Cute, everyday earrings!

If you follow the trends, you know that Coral is really hot right now, especially combined with Turquoise. In my opinion, it has always been a classic combination, and will never go out of style. My supplier had some strands that he imported from Italy so I snatched some up, as Coral is becoming harder to get due to all the expensive licenses one has to have now in order to harvest, import, and sell coral.
For these earrings, I created a bezel with twisted 14K Gold Filled wire, and formed it around the 10 x 15mm smooth Turquoise pears, attaching it securely. I selected the Coral branches, and attached them to handcrafted rings. I then added the pearl and gold ball accents. As you can see, they fall beautifully and continue the shape of the teardrop. They drop 22mm, (almost 1"), from the bottom of the 14K Gold Filled ear wires. I will include plastic ear nuts to slide up behind your ear. These earrings have an upscale 'artisan' appeal. They are very unique!

Working with free-form minerals is very difficult. At times they are just the perfect size, sometimes not. They aren't usually flat at the bottom, so I have to grind them down - a long process. Making them sit atop my handcrafted lucite rings perfectly, is time consuming - sculpting and sanding the lucite, grinding the stone/mineral...you get my gist.

This STUNNING natural rock crystal is so unique in it's free form style. It is a periwinkle blue color, (think Tanzanite, or blue hydrangeas), and has a slight 'mystic' finish to make the facets 'pop'.

The measurements of the crystal itself is approximately: 28 x 16mm, and the overall height, is 12mm. This ring is a size 7. (I will be making more in various sizes).

This ring is waterproof. Although I did add some, (invisible), protection to the joints of the crystals, you must be careful with it. With all mineral rings, I recommend that you not wear this as an everyday ring.

In other words, yes, it is a cocktail ring...but don't have too many cocktails when wearing it! Lol!

For this fabulous double strand bracelet I used gorgeous AAA quality Watermelon Tourmalines that are faceted and cut in a rectangular shape. They are brightly colored in every shade available - hues of greens, aquas, and teals, all shades of pink and peach, and shades of yellow-gold and amber. They measure approximately 4 x 5mm. They are absolutely stunning!
One of the strands was strung on professional '49 strand Gold Plated bead stringing wire, which is the top of the line for durability and flexibility. In between each tourmaline I added 1.5mm 14K Gold Filled beads. On the other strand I wire wrapped the Tourmalines onto 14K Gold Filled curved bar links.
The bracelet is adjustable 7" - 8 1/2", has a spring clasp, and a 'Theresa Mink' signature tag. This is the ultimate feminine and dainty bracelet, that goes with everything!

These are sweet! I used my best quality 10mm pearls and dangled (8) faceted pink Tourmaline, (aka Rubilite), rondelles on each earring. These are some of the most sparkly gemstones that I've seen. Not only because they are flawless, but because of the quality of the cut, (many facets). The Topaz gems are large, measuring approximately 9 x 15mm, (over 1/2" long), and are 7.76 carats each.
I accented them in similar colors for continuity. I used Peridot marquise, green Tourmaline briolettes, and Citrine pears. They drop approximately 3/4" from the bottom of the 14K Gold Filled 'Fleur de Lis' ear wires. Gold Filled will last a lifetime - will not wear off or tarnish.

I dropped (7) beautiful quality/color faceted Burmese Rubies from a 14K Gold Filled 'curved bar' chain. These Rubies don't have the usual scratches that is common in Burmese Rubies. They are quite beautiful. For size reference, the center gem is a large, 7 x 11mm. With the wired cap it is approximately 16mm, (over 1/2") long. How great are these?!! Beautiful fall colors of nature, reminiscent of the changing of the leaves in the Northeast...golds, rusts, oranges, greens, and yellows. The colors really pop! These earrings are very feminine and dainty.

I hand forged these great 14K Gold Filled ear wires into a round shape, added intricate, filigree 24K Gold over Sterling, Vermeil beads that were handmade in Bali, and dangled gorgeous AAA gem quality faceted gemstones of Lemon Quartz, Chrome Diopside, Peridot, Golden Citrine, Grossular Green Garnet, and Carnelian.

They drop approximately 18mm from the bottom of the ear wires. The overall length is 1 1/2" from the top of the ear wires.
