Most of the people who have seen these are amazed how the things they usually would put in their trash or recycle bins can be re-purposed into something so fun and functional. I collect the empty bottles from friends and family, and contribute to the cause myself as well (smile). I remove the labels and clean them, then I fire up my kiln to 1450 degrees. Depending on the shape, some are fired a second time on top of one of my handmade ceramic molds. Each one comes out a little different. Once the bottle has flattened, I follow a strict annealing schedule to bring the glass back down to room temperature to make sure the glass is nice and strong.

This spoon rest was made from a brown Bud Light bottle and has been slumped on my handmade ceramic mold to get the sides to curl up slightly and the elegant curve on the neck. Each serving bowl comes with the neck tied with raffia so it is ready for gift giving. These serving trays are dish washer and microwave safe, but it is not designed for stove top use.

This serving bowl was made from a 1.5 liter Riesling wine bottle which has been slumped into my handmade ceramic mold to create the elegant raised edges and dramatic curves. The finished bottle measures 12 1/8" (30.8 cm) long, by 5.25" (13.3 cm) wide, and approximately 2 1/16" (5.2 cm) high. This votive holder / snack bowl was made from a standard white wine bottle which has been slumped into my handmade mold to create the elegant raised edges and dramatic curves. The finished piece measures 10.5" (26.6 cm) long, by 3 3/8" (8.5 cm) wide at it's widest part, and approximately 2" (5.1 cm) high.

I then embellish them with wire and beads to give it a little extra bling and personality.

Each cheese board serving tray comes with a cute resin handled cork cheese spreader tied on with raffia. These great little trays can also be hung on your kitchen wall, when not in use, by the wire loop I have crafted on the back of the piece. Please hand wash these trays to make sure there won't be any strange things happening to the embellishments on the top.

This cheese tray was made from a large green wine bottle and has been embellished with copper wire and one of my handmade dichroic fused glass cabochons attached with industrial strength adhesive. The bottle measures 11.5" (29.2 cm) long, by 4.5" (11.5 cm) wide).

Plate made from recycled scrap picture frame glass - 8.25 inches square

Ready for the trash?? No more!! This rescued picture frame scrap glass has been reborn into this amazing decorative plate. I have fused two pieces together with inclusions between to create this gorgeous blue bubble effect. It was then fired a 2nd time slumping it into the wavy edged plate mold. The kiln put it's own spin on it and created the spiral wave on the inside corner from a collapsed bubble. After firing I hand painted the leaves and swirl designs on the back to compliment the character of the glass. This plate is food safe, but please hand wash to ensure the oven baked enamels on the back stay intact.

The plate measures 8.25 inches (21cm) square and 1 1/8 inches (2.8cm) deep.

This necklace can easily go from office to evening. It has a beautiful fused glass focal pendant that has a dark red transparent base and clear top with metal inclusions between the layers that have turned a sparkling indigo color. It has been wet drilled at the top to be fitted with a sterling silver bail.

The necklace is made up of 6mm faceted and 4mm smooth round blue goldstone beads. The deep sparkle in the goldstone really accompanies the sparkle in the pendant very well. This timeless piece is truely stunning! The light plays on all the levels of bubbles in the glass and sparkles on the sterling silver and two shades of silver lined blue glass seed beads.

The necklace measures 18" (46cm) in length and features one of my handmade fused float glass bubble pendants. The glass portion of the pendant measures 30mm long, 12mm wide, and 6mm thick. The pendant has been fired to approximately 1600 degrees and has been properly annealed to prevent future cracking and for added durability. It has a sterling silver plated bail attached with an industrial strength adhesive. I have also signed and dated the back of the pendant.

The rest of the necklace is made up of two 18mm x 13mm oval sterling silver beads, 8 2mm round sterling silver beads, 12 4mm frosted blue glass round beads, two different color blue silver lined size 11 glass seed beads, heavy duty sterling silver crimps, and an easy to operate sterling silver toggle clasp. This gorgeous dichroic fused glass pendant has incredible depth with red to orange flames with dark silver that move as the light hits it from different angles. The dichroic glass is layered between a black base and a clear cap for added depth. It measures just under 3/4" (19mm) wide by 1 1/4" (32mm) high, not counting the bail.

The large sterling silver plated bail has an opening that measures 5mm x 7mm so it will fit over your favorite necklaces with ease. It has been attached to the glass with industrial strength adhesive, so you won't have to worry about it coming off. The back of the pendant has been signed and dated. It has also been properly annealed for added strength and durability.

This homemade laundry soap has all the good stuff with none of the unnecessary fillers which are the primary cause for septic system problems. Back to basics at it's best! Try it before you buy it with this sample sized packet.

Only one tablespoon will clean an extra large HE load better than the top national brands. Wash in cold water, no fabric softener needed, and your clothes come out bright, clean, and soft. Considering the hard water we have here in Florida, I use 1 tablespoon for a extra large HE load or 2 tablespoons for a regular machine. If you have softer water, you should be able to use less.

I have tested this soap in numerous households before selling it. Many of my testers had family members with very sensitive skin who normally could not use most national brands without irritation. Even my scented laundry soap did not cause them any problems.

One of my neighbors used my soap after her sister was not able to remove a fish oil spill from a blouse washing twice with Tide and a leading stain remover spray. After only one wash with my laundry soap, the stain was gone and the fishy smell was gone, too! You will not be disappointed!

These stylish earrings are made using recycled glass scrap from a local frame shop combined with other colored float compatable glass. They have been fired to over 1700 degrees and properly annealed for strength and durability. The pendant measures 1 1/4 inches (32 mm) wide and 1 3/8" (30mm) high with rounded corners, not including the bail. With the bail, it measures 1 /8 (41 mm) inches long. The opening in the sterling silver plated bail measures 5 mm x 7 mm, so it will easily slide over nearly any clasp on your necklaces.

My fused glass pieces are properly annealed, so you won't have to worry about future surprise cracks. I have also signed and dated this piece on the back.

This beautiful necklace is neutral enough to wear everyday, yet stylish enough to really draw some attention. It is 18 inches (46cm) long. It features 3 of my handmade stoneware beads. The focal bead has a raised swirling porcelain slip trailed design that creates a great highlight as it shines through the glaze. The accent beads have a concentric circle stamped design created with my hand carved porcelain stamps. The focal bead measures 3/4 of an inch (20 mm) x 5/8 of an inch (16 mm) and the accent beads measure 7/16 of an inch (12 mm) by 3/8 of an inch (10 mm). These beads are all high fired for added strength and durability.

The remainder of the necklace is composed of 4mm round and 4x6mm rice picture jasper beads, 4mm and 6mm round hematite beads 4 large sterling silver beads and a large, easy to operate, sterling silver toggle clasp. It is all strung on strong professional beading wire with heavy duty sterling silver crimp beads.

The rich combination of browns in this necklace is absolutely stunning! You will just want to touch it. This one will not last long. I just know it! This necklace measures 18 inches (46 cm) long.

The textures in this handcrafted stoneware pendant are multiplied by the porcelain slip trailing on top and the mixture of two different glazes. The pendant measures 1 7/8 inches (48 mm) in diameter and is 4 mm thick with a 1 inch oval cut out. The pendant has been signed and dated on the back.

The pendant is wire wrapped with sterling silver wire to the necklace. The rest of the necklace is made up of a variety of 4 mm round carnelian beads, oval and rice shaped tiger eye beads, chips of picture jasper and two more of my handcrafted stoneware beads. These stoneware beads have a pressed linear pattern that gives them a swirled effect. The measure 13 mm round. It is strung on professional beading wire and finished off with heavy duty sterling silver crimp beads and a large sterling silver teardrop shaped toggle clasp.

This amazing necklace is sure to get stares from admirers. It will match any earth tone in your wardrobe, but instead of blending in, it really makes a statement.

This necklace measures 18.5 inches (47cm) in length and features one of my handcrafted crescent shaped porcelain shaped pendants. The layered glazes over the stamped images, created with my hand-carved original porcelain stamps, makes a gorgeous show of how the glazes blend and pool in the surface texture. The pendant measures 2 15/16" (75mm) wide and 1 1/2" (38mm) measuring from the bottom of the curve to the height of the points at the top. It has been high fired for added strength and durability and resistance to chipping. It has also been signed and dated on the back.

I have wire wrapped the pendant to the necklace with sterling silver wire. The rest of the necklace is made up of a combination of fancy jasper rice, tube, and puffy square beads, 6mm picture jasper rounds, 4mm and 6mm yellow turquoise rounds, sterling silver spacer beads, heavy duty sterling silver crimps, professional strength coated beading wire and all finished off with a large decorative toggle clasp that is very easy to operate.

This beautiful necklace has the classic beauty of pearls with the unexpected touch of a handcrafted porcelain pendant. This is one of my mom's, Susan Borsjé's, designs with one of my handmade pendants.

The majority of the necklace is made up of an alternating pattern of natural colored 6-8mm fresh water pearls and amber colored silver lined glass seed beads. The focal pendant measures approximately 25mm in diameter and 4mm thick and is flanked on both sides by more natural colored and antique gold dyed fresh water pearls. The pendant has been wire wrapped onto the necklace using sterling silver wire and is high fired for increased durability and resistance to chipping. The necklace has been strung on professional strength coated beading wire, crimped with heavy duty sterling silver crimps and finished off with an easy to operate sterling silver toggle clasp. The necklace measures 17" long, so it is a little longer than a choker, but not quite as long as the standard 18".

As the glass cab catches the light from different angles, the colors in the pattern change from bright gold to green to blue with a black background. Beautiful!

The glass cab has been permanently attached to the sterling silver wire wrapped ring using clear industrial strength adhesive. I have had several of these rings tested to make sure it will stand up to daily wear and tear, heavy house cleaning, washing dishes, etc. with no problems what-so-ever.

The glass cab measures 6mm x 7mm and the silver part of the ring measures 16mm long by 6mm wide.

This necklace features one of my handcrafted slip-trailed and stamped ceramic pendants with a lovely dark silver metallic glaze. It measures 1 1/4 inches (33mm) in diameter and 4 mm thick and has been signed and dated on the back. It has been wire wrapped with sterling silver wire to the necklace. The necklace measures 18 inches (46 mm) long.

It has been double strung on the front to give a unique design with the tiny 2 mm round black onyx beads. The various shapes of hematite beads in the design really compliment the silvery finish of the pendant. Sterling silver spacer beads add just a touch of sparkle to the design and it is all finished off with a large stylish toggle clasp.
