Storm the kitty was so envious of the beautiful antlers all the reindeer were wearing-she wanted to be able to have a pair and defend her yard. So she affixed a bit of seaweed on top of her head. She thinks it looks quite fierce. Since she is so cute we won't disillusion her will we?

I molded the kitty from a vintage german toy. I then used some of my seaweed waxes to create little antlers growing from her head. I love how well the textures work together!
This pendant is soldered to hang right. The chain comes in from either side and is not interchangeable.

I had her cast, then carefully polished her to bring up the high points. She is oxidized to a dark black finish.

Kitty measures 27 mm by 24 mm. (Approx 1" by just under 1")
She will come on a 16" chain, if you prefer a different length just let me know.

Tiny and adorable, these are the perfect delicate earrings for any occasion. I cut the hearts out of sterling silver sheet, polished them to a soft satin finish, then stamped 'amore' (Italian for love) on both the front and back sides! As a final touch i slightly curved the heart so it will catch light from many angles.
These earrings are a perfect gift for a loved one, or just that long deserved gift for yourself!
These are completely handmade and will have slight variations that make each pair unique!
All findings are sterling silver.
Earrings hang about 7/8" long.
Hearts are about 1/2" or 13mm long.

Sleek and cool, this pendant reminds me of a frosty winter forest. The stone is jade, (true jade, not serpentine) in a lovely color of sage green and a few patches of soft brown.
It is smooth and cold to the touch...and as is true with all jade, will become more shiny as it is handled.

I don't know what the name of this pod is, I found it on a tree in front of my San Francisco apartment. It is just so amazing and fierce, I knew immediately that it needed to become jewelry!
Tiny seeds are gathered in a cluster within the pod, little silver gems.
I gave this pod a bright shiny finish. It is very polished so the textures and detail are enhanced.

This fabulous pendant is a one of a kind piece. I molded seaweed and then played with the waxes until I created this pendant. I have no mold for this pendant so no other will ever be exactly the same.

This pendant is cast in sterling silver, then antiqued to a dark black-silver color. High areas are silver with the details in black.

This dramatic pendant was cast from a beautiful, natural star anise. Star anise is a spice traditionally used in Asian and Mexican cooking. It is often associated with a strong licorice flavor.

I made a mold from the original pod and had it cast, I then went to work polishing to a high shine. To truly show the texture, I have blackened areas and re-polished the high points. Every detail is true to the original pod. This pod reminds me of a lovely butterfly, just landing for a moment on the neck....
The texture on the back is just as lovely as that on the front, feel free to flip it over and wear it that way too!

This piece is made to order, please allow 5-7 business days to ship. Due to the handmade nature of the piece some slight variations may occur.

I am so excited to introduce this tiny fig pendant!

Figs are one of my favorite things to eat, unusual in the fact that the fleshy bit that we do eat is not a fruit but rather a flower! The Chinese name for a fig is 'fruit without a flower'.
Figs are sacred to Buddhists, according to legend, Siddhartha Gautama (the Buddha) achieved enlightenment while sitting beneath a fig tree. In Greek and Roman myths, figs are often associated with sexual desire.

While wandering around San Francisco's Wharf area, I happened upon a large, lovely fig tree. It was simply covered in tiny, unripe figs. I had never seen such small figs and I knew I had to cast them!
I carefully cut this fig in two and molded both sections. This is the tiny section. It is so simple and delicate, perfectly textured, with an opening where the stamen would have developed. The outer skin has tiny bumps and smooth curves. I am so proud of how well this pendant turned out!

It has been cast in sterling silver, I finished it in an antiqued black color.

The tiny fig measures 12mm. It comes on a 16" chain.
All findings are sterling silver.

This particular pod has dried to the point where it seems sunken in on itself. I love the little curves and valleys, it is unlike any other poppy pod I have seen!

This pendant is simply amazing! A large quartz drop is heavily included with clouds of green and a touch of lavender. The overall effect is like looking into another world. This stone is completely natural and its pattern is unique to it alone.
I have cut a small strip of sterling silver and torch riveted it to the quartz creating the bail. This necklace hangs beautifully from its sterling chain, it will look lovely with any outfit!

Aphrodite-Greek Goddess of love and beauty

Just as Aphrodite rose from the sea in the myths of old, so was this piece of beach glass cast to the shore. I found it on a northern California beach. It is the color of sea foam, a beautiful greenish aqua.

I have given it a new life in a hand-fabricated sterling silver setting.
This bangle is delicate and unique, a lovely complement to any outfit.
Due to the recycled nature of beach glass, this piece has many imperfections on the surface-it has been tossed by the sea for many years.

Bangle is 3mm wide, glass measures about 14mm by 18mm.

Bangle measures 2 5/8" (60mm) inside diameter. It will fit a smaller wrist. If you would like something similar in a different size please contact me.

This nose screw is very small, still just a bud. It will be a delicate touch without distracting from your features.

This nose screw is a new addition to my line of nose jewelry, it is made from 18 karat royal yellow gold. This is a bright, rich yellow color.

In the third picture are many nose screws in 18 karat white (left), 18 karat rose (center) and 18 karat royal yellow (right).

The ball is just under 2mm.
The stem is 20 gauge wire.
I have curved the stem so that once it is in the nose it will sit flat and not fall out.
The length of the stem to the point where it starts to curve is 6mm. If you prefer it longer or shorter just let me know.
Nose screw is 18 karat yellow gold.

Please note: Do not put screw in a fresh piercing, nose must be completely healed, usually about 6 weeks. Consult with your piercer if you are unsure about whether your piercing is healed.

I believe this is exactly the sort of ring the Goddess of Love would have worn! Dramatic waves swirl across the surface, deep teals are brushed over with soft iridescence, delicate sterling prongs hold it all in place.

The glass cabochon in this ring was initially a vintage button. I removed the button from the back and created a bezel to hold it. The entire ring is hand fabricated out of sterling silver. I have given the silver a brushed finish for added softness.

This ring is the only one of its kind, I haven't any more of the buttons. I am not able to size this ring, but am open to hunting for similar buttons if you desire one.

This ring fits a size 8 US, Q British, 57 3/4 French,
18 German, 16 Japanese, 17 3/4 Swiss.

This is a cocktail size ring, the button is 18mm.

Oh yes, I love chrysoprase like I love candy...and this ring is about as yummy as it gets!
A large mint green chrysoprase sits in an old fashioned crown bezel. The chrysoprase is natural with many varied shades of green and specks of black. The shade of mint is so vivid I am delighted every time I look at it!

To add a little bit of whimsy, I cut three stars into the underside of the ring-just a little green peeks through.
I have given the band a soft satin finish to complement but not compete with the stone.

This ring is completely hand fabricated by me from sterling silver. I am not able to size this one, if you would like something similar please contact me and I will make something special for you.

Finally, an addition that has been a long time coming! I have been working on the model for this pair of hoops for over two years!

These lovely hoop earrings have been molded from a delicate twig and cast in sterling silver. The texture on the hoops is stunning, tiny buds sprout along the way. The original twig came from a Scotch broom shrub that was just about to burst into bloom.

They are lightweight and delicate, a perfect medium sized hoop.
Organic in form they have been hammered into a circular shape. I gave this pair a dark oxidized finish to show the detail.

Earrings measure approximately 44mm (1 3/4") round.
Twig is about 2mm thick.

Hoop and findings are all sterling silver.

Careful, nature is dangerous! This little pod ring looks light it just might bite!

A little cast pod is hand enameled, deep shades of yellow and mustard are layered to create a gorgeous amber effect. The seeds have been blackened with an antiquing agent. On the back of the pod I have left the original texture, blackening it to really let it show.
The pod has been carefully riveted between the tips of the shank, this allows it to move back and forth.
I gave the shank a satin finish to further complement the pod.

This ring is really cool by itself, even more fun stacked with others of its kind!
All components are sterling silver.

This is a one of a kind ring.

This freeform ring is absolutely one of a kind. I was inspired to cut out a piece of metal with no pattern or balance in order to see where it would go. I hammered it into a band than added texture. Half of the ring is textured with with a hammer, creating a feel of driven rain. It slowly fades away into a satin finish that moves to the tapered end of the ring.
This is a wide band in a small finger size. It is for a bold person looking to make a strong statement. This ring is one of a kind, however if it is not your size, convo me and I will create a new freeform ring that is!
This ring will fit a size 4 3/4 to a 5 US, J 1/2 British,
15 3/4 German and 9 Japanese.

These delicate earrings remind me of how the Hanging Gardens of Babylon may have looked. I imagine flowers spilling down from vessels and branches. I imagine constant motion and endless detail.

Delicate flowers bloom above a hanging vase which is entangled in ivy vines.

modern archaic

Archaic: French archaïque, from Greek archaïkos, from archaios - of, relating to, or characteristic of an earlier or more primitive time.

I am intrigued by the duality of this ring, from the uneven, worn textures of the turquoise to the sleek, futuristic silver of the setting.
The turquoise in this ring is rough and ridged, its panoply of greens peeking out of the black matrix.
The silver of the band and arms have been given a satin finish for contrast.

I riveted the turquoise into place, allowing for slight movement.

This ring was entirely hand fabricated by me. I was inspired by my grandmother's stories of her archaeological digs in Guatemala.

The turquoise measures about 12mm wide, 8mm thick. (at widest point)

This ring fits a size 7 US, British O, French 55 1/4, German 17 1/4, Japanese 14 and Swiss 15 1/4.
I can not size this ring, however I can make something similar if you would like another size.

The agate is natural stone its intricate pattern of yellow background and mossy greens is unique and fascinating. This lovely, delicate ring features a rose-cut turquoise bezel set in sterling silver. I have left a soft satin finish and added slight hammer marks to give the effect of a ring created by metalsmiths more than 2000 years ago. There is a tiny flaw on one side of the bezel, an indication of its handmade nature.

This ring is perfect by itself, or fabulous stacked with some of my textured rings!

Inspired by summer and my desire to be under the palm trees, this ring is cool, funky and unique.

I trapped a piece of palm bark under a rose quartz cabochon. It is a hidden surprise, adding depth and texture from within. I have added my interpretation of palm texture to the entire ring, starting with tiny hammer marks all around the stone, then adding even more texture to the bezel and shank. The rose quartz has some inclusions, the largest of which is visible in the second picture. These add to the overall appearance of the ring but will not compromise the durability.

This ring is not waterproof, if water gets inside it might damage the palm bark.

This ring is entirely hand fabricated by me. It is made from sterling silver.
Shank is 5mm wide. Rose quartz is 14mm by 12mm.

I complemented this gorgeous little poppy pod with a gemmy natural ruby briolette. It is a dark fuchsia color, a little sparkling bit of pinkish red.
Stone has some visible natural inclusions.

I molded this little pod to capture all the details, than had it cast in sterling silver. This pod is my 'Hypnos' pod, a little poppy that dried in a most unusual and interesting way.
I then polished and gave it a dark antiqued finish that shows all the texture, drilled it and added a loop.
Wear one or many on a chain, it is bound to catch attention either way!

As I was walking through the park this morning some interesting leaves caught my eye. I liked them so much I gathered samples. As it is winter now all the lovely oak and maple leaves have fallen. I was delighted to discover the green ivy all around. Each leaf in this series was inspired by those leaves and sketched freehand on to the metal. No two will be the same ever! After cutting the shape out I lightly curved it and added texture with my hammer.
This leaf is cut from copper. With time it will oxidize to a lovely dark color, however a quick polish with a polishing cloth will bring it back to the bright color. It is finished it with a bright satin polish.
I have put it on a sterling silver chain.
Chain is 16" long.
Leaf is 1 1/2" by 1". (35mm by 25mm)

This sweet pendant was cast from a unique steel key. The original key was know as a 'secrets key'. It was dated from the early 1800's, from France. These little keys were used to lock a lady's secret box, usually where she would keep nostalgic trinkets, her diary, and other special items. She would wear the key on a chain around her neck.

I molded the original key and had it cast in sterling silver. I have given it an antiqued finish and lightly polished it. The look is old and romantic.
This listing is for the smallest of the keys. It is 1 1/4" long by 1/2".

This amazing, one of a kind pendant depicts the shadow of a phoenix screaming at the moon.
I hand sketched the outline of a bird head, carefully cut it out of silver sheet and soldered it to brass sheet. The effect is that of a bird against the moon, sleek, subtle and elegant.
I lightly textured the phoenix, then added a satin finish to the moon.

I soldered silver chain to each side. It measures 17 1/2" long.

pebble bracelet

This bracelet goes against everything that I was taught regarding flame and stone. I was determined to find a way to heat the entire bracelet without burning or shattering the pebbles. After many attempts, I finally succeeded!

The pebbles are stones I collected from a local beach and drilled. They move freely on their stems, which in turn move freely on the bracelet. I added silver flowers to three of the pebbles for contrast. I formed the bangle, lightly hammered in a texture and gave it a soft brushed finish. The overall appearance reminds me of a zen rock garden, simple yet complex.

The stems move back and forth on the bracelet, rattling softly. However, due to this movement, it is best to wear it slightly larger than you normally would. (If the bracelet is too tight going over the hand the balls on the end of the stem will catch on the hand) With time the stems start to curve and offer less resistance.

This bracelet measures just under 2 3/4" (68mm) diameter, I would recommend it for a wrist that normally fits 2 1/2" (64mm)
The bangle is 5mm wide.
The pebbles measure from 10mm to 15mm.

These tiny starflowers may just be the sweetest, most versatile earrings ever made! I cut each flower out of a sheet of sterling silver, drilled many holes for the stamen, and brought them to a nice bright polish with just a little brushed texture. I slightly rounded the petals into a delicate curve. They are small and light, perfect for any outfit!

I envision this amazing ring on the long fingers of a Maharani. It is rich and dramatic, yet the colors are moonlit. The center stone is a large prehnite, a milky but translucent pale mint color. Prehnite is a completely natural, untreated stone. I surrounded the prehnite with small faceted green sapphires. They range in color from a very pale sage to light olive. They move with you, dangling freely and sparkling beautifully. I wire wrapped each one individually for maximum movement. The sapphires are heat treated, an accepted industry standard.

I fabricated the entire ring from start to finish, forming, soldering and drilling. This is truly an unique and unusual ring!

All metal is sterling silver.
This ring is a size 6 US but could probably fit a finger 1/4 size larger due to the shape of the shank.

This fabulous pendant is a one of a kind piece. I molded seaweed and then played with the waxes until I created this pendant. I have no mold for this pendant so no other will ever be exactly the same. I added beautiful Peruvian Opal briolettes to this pendant, they are natural and each is slightly different. The color is a seafoam teal, just breathtaking!

This pendant is cast in sterling silver, then antiqued to a dark black-silver color. High areas are silver with the details in black.

Pendant measures 40mm by 35mm. It will come on a 16" sterling silver chain.
Briolettes meaure 10mm by 8mm on the largest, 6mm by 4mm on the smaller two.

Here is a beautiful copper blossom for your finger! The tiny flower rests on a delicate stem. I left the flower loose so it spins around on the stamen as you move! This ring is perfect by itself, or can be stacked with others to create a whole bouquet. I have given the inside of the flower a bright finish and contrasted it with a soft satin finish on the back. I sketch the flower directly onto the metal before cutting, as I don't use a pattern, each flower is unique. You will receive the flower pictured.
Copper will darken with age, if you wish to bring it back to its bright color, any silver polish will work.

The pod has been carefully torch riveted between the tips of the shank, this allows it to move back and forth.

I went a different route with this piece, enameling some areas and not others with a yellowish green enamel. I then pickled it a while to take all the shine off the enamel so it has a rough opaque finish. The effect is of something natural that has been sitting forgotten for a really long time. I was experimenting with this piece and am not sure it can be reproduced...

These lovely hoop earrings have been molded from a delicate twig and cast in sterling silver. The texture on the hoops is stunning, tiny buds sprout along the way. The original twig came from a Scotch broom shrub that was just about to burst into bloom.

They are lightweight and delicate, a perfect medium sized hoop.
Organic in form they have been hammered into a circular shape.

Earrings measure approximately 44mm (1 3/4") round.
Twig is about 2mm thick.

This is a lovely, delicate necklace. The tiny blossom is soldered to its stamen beneath a textured circle. The flower has been cut from a sheet of copper, curved and polished to a bright finish. I hammered a slight texture onto the circle for added interest.
I attached the circle with soldered jumprings so it can move freely, yet has strength.
Necklace is 16".
Circle is about 15mm.
Flower is about 6mm.
All findings except the flower are sterling silver.

I am excited to introduce my new line of seaweed jewelry! Now, like a mermaid, you can adorn yourself with the jewels of the sea!

I carefully molded each piece from seaweed I gathered on a Northern California beach. I then shape the waxes and have them cast. It is amazing how perfect the texture is! Because of the handmade nature of these pieces, slight variation may occur.

These cool earrings feature stunning natural peruvian opals. They are a minty seafoam teal color with just a hint of brown. The briolette dangles gracefully beneath the seaweed.

This pair of earrings has a antiqued silver finish. This is a smaller version of the seaweed earrings, they are practical for every day wear. These still make a bold statement, just in a quieter manner. The length of these elegant earrings is very flattering!

Earring hangs 2" by 1/2". Briolette is 10mm by 6mm.

This dramatic pendant was cast from a beautiful, natural star anise. Star anise is a spice traditionally used in Asian and Mexican cooking. It is often associated with a strong licorice flavor.

I made a mold from the original pod and had it cast, I then went to work polishing to a high shine. To truly show the texture, I have blackened areas and re-polished the high points. Every detail is true to the original pod.
The texture on the back is just as lovely as that on the front, feel free to flip it over and wear it that way too!

Pendant is sterling silver. It measures 25mm by 23mm.

A gorgeous, magical one of a kind pendant, this amethyst is a stunning dark purple.

This sweet pendant was cast from a unique steel key. The original key was know as a 'secrets key'. It was dated from the early 1800's, from France. These little keys were used to lock a lady's secret box, usually where she would keep nostalgic trinkets, her diary, and other special items. She would wear the key on a chain around her neck.

I molded the original key and had it cast in sterling silver. I have given it an antiqued finish and lightly polished it. The look is old and romantic.
This listing is for the smallest of the keys. It is 1 1/4" long by 1/2".
This key will come on a delicate 30" black ribbon. It is tied at the ends and will tie on the neck. The ribbon does not have a clasp. Tie it around your neck once or twice to allow for different lengths!

Inspired by the fairy tale, this dark bracelet twists like vines around the wrist.
I created the bangle in 14 gauge sterling silver than soldered the 'vines' around it. While it appears to be three bracelets, it is actually just one ongoing piece.
The silver has been darkened to a soft charcoal color, leaving the vines bright.
For color I added little coral beads in red and salmon.
The salmon coral is more of a pink than an orange. (I know it appears more orange in the pictures)

This bracelet will fit a medium wrist. It measures 2.5" or 66mm wide.

The coral beads are 4mm by 8mm.

Ghost Orchid pendant

In the swamps of Florida lives a rare and endangered orchid, the Dendrophylax lindenii, commonly known as simply the 'ghost orchid'.
The name comes from the fact that the flower appears to float in the air, unsupported. Its leaves are little more than scales, its roots fade into the bark.
This orchid is difficult to cultivate outside its habitat, wild species are protected by Florida law.
As a result, few have actually seen this orchid, it has a mystique that is unrivaled.

I sketched my version of this lovely orchid onto a sterling silver disk, then carefully cut it out. This freehand drawing is one of a kind, I have no pattern for the next time. This stunning blossom looks like it is but a shadow on the moon.

I gave the metal a smooth brushed finish.
Pendant is 32 mm.

This fabulous bangle is a new addition to my line. I molded seaweed and then played with the waxes until I created this bangle. I love the way the seaweed moves and plays around the wrist! I created gentle waves with the seaweed so the bangle curves around the wrist in a lovely and graceful way.

This bangle is cast in sterling silver, then antiqued to a dark black-silver color. High areas are silver with the details in black.

Here we have beautiful sterling and copper blossoms for your finger! The tiny flowers rest on delicate stems. I left the flowers loose so they spin around on the stamen as you move! These rings are perfect by themselves, or can be stacked with others to create a whole bouquet.
I gave the inside of the flowers a lovely bright finish but left the outside and stems a soft satin finish for contrast.
