Simple earrings Spelling the word Witch - form top to bottom on one and bottom to top on the other.

The earrings are a little over an inch long and have sterling silver earwires.

This is a gorgeous set of smoky quartz runes. The runes are engraved onto the stones and then painted with gold, making them much harder wearing than runes that are just painted on.

The runes are of the elder futhark system, and include 24 runes and one blank - some people use it as a spare, others as a 'wyrd' rune - whatever works for you!

They come with a handmade cloth bag - the colour may vary from the picture, it depends what I have to hand, and I recycle the cloth rather than buying new.

There is also a little instruction booklet(not pictured - see my other listings, giving you the basics to get you started and a list of recommended further reading.

I've been making and selling runes for years (and using them myself) and am able to make runes in a wide variety of woods and gemstones (birch, alder, rowan, willow, ash, hawthorn, oak, hazel, blackthorn, ivy, yew, linden/lime, beech and rose) so please contact me if you would like runes of another material and I can list them for you!

a simple key ring made from a slice of oak wood - about an inch in diameter.

I've pyrographed a pentagram into the wood and fitted it with stainless steel fittings.

Oak is associated with courage and strength in the celtic ogham alphabet.

I picked up the pebbles for this set on the beach on the East coast of Norfolk.

I love these stones - they're soft and smooth and a wonderful chocolate colour - they're rich in iron and heavy for their size - they seem to be fairly unique to the norfolk coast - i've not seen them anywhere else.

Each rune is engraved into the stone and painted in to make it more visible.

The set of 25 runes (elder futhark) will come to you in a pouch and with a little booklet to get you started.

Silver birch Goddess wand with quartz point

The wand is made from a piece of storm damaged silver birch. it was sanded smooth and little goddesses have been pyrpographed into it's length.

the point is quartz and is bound onto the wood with natural linen thread.

it measures about 35cm long and comes with a hand made bag and a consecration spell.

9 Wonderful Wooden Buttons

I often have spares left over from rune sets - and was wondering what to do with them - I don't like wasting anything.

Then my friend wanted a special wooden button to finish a knitted cuff with and I made a lovely oak wood button - thus the idea was born.

these would have ended up here a few months back, but every time I made more they got bought!

I have buttons available in all the woods I sell runes in and some more besides! I'm open to requests.

I'm not treating these with anything - so they might not be too happy with frequent washing - but they're perfect for cuffs, bags, pouches, cloaks and anything like that!

These one are a mixed set - willow, ash, yew, rowan, hornbeam, hazel, pine, aspen and birch. The largest is a little over an inch across, the smallest about 0.5 inch.

20 Celtic ogham sticks with Pouch and Booklet

These are beautiful handmade ogham staves. Each ogham stave is made from the wood of the tree that it represents - so birch for birch, rowan on rowan etc. Most people don't bother with this, and make oghams all from one wood, so my sets are much more special!

The staves are on average two inches long and I've left the bark on these - it's actually harder to make sets like this since I have to try and find the right wood with the bark firmly attached and not chewed by animals.

It took me about a year to put these sets together (collecting all the wood is not easy!), and I'm lucky since my in-laws have a plantation that provided most of the of the wood.

The starves were sanded (by hand) and then pyrographed (burnt) with the appropriate ogham symbol, making them much harder wearing than oghams that are just painted.

The ogham is a celtic alphabet/divination system, based on 20 native British trees. It is used in much the same way as runes, though less commonly used than runes.

The booklet has been put together by us and gives a basic guide to using the ogham and keywords for the meaning of each stave to help get you started.

 All wood I use for my crafts is gathered or collected from other's prunings, I don't harvest any wood. Wood largely comes from my parents-in-law's property in kent, where they manage 43 acres of woodland organically.
