Just the other day I had three biopsies, all three on the same breast. Definitely not on my list of things I wanted to do.

I was scared, and I didn't want to do it. But I did. I did it for the ones I love, and for those who love me.

While I waited for the minutes to tick by, for the unknown to become known, I remembered a little pair of boobie beads I had made, sitting somewhere on my work table. And I decided now would be a good time to use them.

So I created a key chain/purse charm. I created it for myself, for all my friends and loved ones, and for all of you who have also gone through the unknown. For waiting and worrying. For being brave and doing what needs to be done.

We are women, and our breasts do not define us. It is our heart that defines us.

~Height of tile is 3/4 inches(20mm)
~Width of tile is 11/16 (18mm)
~The silver plated bail adds another 1/4 inch
Hole in bail is 2.5mm

Handmade by me. This will be my new winter hobby, as it will be too cold most of the season to get to my torch.

This pendant is not suitable to wear in the shower, swimming or in the rain. The glazing is water based and will not stand up to water.

Each stained glass pendant is created by hand, with a multi-step process. Here’s the short:
*I print and cut photos; Cover with cleaned microscope slides; Wrap with copper foil; Burnish copper foil to adhere to glass; Solder face of pendant; Solder edges of pendant; Re-heat edges to smooth the solder; Add bail; Polish; Add necklace, if necessary.

Please allow up to 5 days to create and mail your item.
