I have now made some for nieces and nephews, and have friends putting in orders for their children. <br /><br />I make it when you order it with the colors and applique design that you choose. The body measures 6&quot; x 1-1/2&quot; by 6&quot;, and the straps or purse handle measure approximately 15 inches long. They are nice and stretchy to fit over sweaters and coats.<br /><br />I make the backpack with sturdy, washable acrylic yarn, and my husband cuts the applique out of felt, which I then sew on with a sewing mahine. The yarn flower is made on a flower loom. <br /><br />The strawberry backpack in the picture was made with 100% wool - please add $5.00 if you would like wool, cotton, or bamboo blend yarn used, and $1.00 for a wood or metal button instead of plastic.<br /><br />It takes me ten days to make from start to finish, so please keep that in mind if you are ordering one as a gift.
