I find my sea rocks and stones at 'Sconset beach which is 2 miles from where I live on Nantucket. I hit the jackpot after a storm and found this 4 inch smooth rock. I painted the background and applied an image of a mermaid from one of my handpainted drawings.Then I put a waterbased varnish over the whole thing. Lovely to hold down your papers at the office or home....
