After I put together my first necklace in this style it reminded me of a chandelier. So I thought it would be fun to create a "Chandelier" series. Although at first glance they look "fancy" I think, because of the elements, they can look either "dressy" or "funky" and can be worn alone or layered with multiple chains.

This piece in the series is made of medium vintage brass wrapped faceted clear lucite stone charms, 13 x 22 mm with a large focal stone in the center, vintage Miriam Haskell
8 mm glass based, baroque pearls and teardrop shaped white mother of pearl beads. All the bead are connected to lovely vintage brass chains.

This necklace is made of 5 vintage chains, 2 of which are Miriam Haskell brass chains. Miriam Haskell was a costume jewelry designer from the 1920s to the 1960s. I purchased these chains and other of her findings from a vendor who found them in a basement of an old factory in a box labeled "Miriam Haskell". I know they are genuine because I've seen pictures of them in some of her designs. The copper accent is vintage and was bought by my friend in a Paris flea market. She was kind enough to give it to me to incorporate into one of my pieces. It has a nice patina and goes well with the brass.
Because the chains are different lengths the necklace can be worn in 2 lengths.
NOTE: Brass that is over 30 years old was made from solid brass unlike today's alloys.
