‘Let them Eat Cake’

This is my third ‘let them eat cake’.. a collection inspired by Marie Antoinette. Decadent and extravagant…Do you dare to wear?

There are firstly 5 gorgeous, stunning, beautiful lampwork glass hearts… can you tell that I love these! Lol. I do love these hearts, they have been featuring in my designs for almost 3 years. They are made by Karen Halls and they are a lovely chocolate and gold colour with a tiny pink and sage green rose design. The large focal flower is a dusky plum stacked lucite rose and there are 2 vintage Lucite orchids in the same shade of plum….all stunning! I have beaded them with fluted glass raspberry and pistachio green beads. I have also used 2 gold tone fans (they are hard to spot on the photo, but they are there) 2 gold tone masquerade mask charms (masquerade is another feature design of mine, what out for another one soon) a tiny gold coloured key and a gold tone crown. There are 3 gold coloured acrylic buttons~ a fancy ladies shoe, an oval inlaid with chartreuse green and a diamond inlaid with black. There are two lampwork glass chocolates, 4 sage green porcelain roses, ( I love roses and these often feature in my designs too) 4 cream porcelain roses beaded with more raspberry and pistachio beads, vintage pale pink Lucite rounds, chartreuse green glass pearls, vintage pale pink baroque glass pearls, chocolate brown Swarovski pearls, creamy white carved bone beads, white cloisonné beads, faceted Czech glass sage green beads, tiny white acrylic doves, chocolate brown flower bead caps beads beaded with a raspberry and pistachio green glass bead, vintage cranberry moon glow beads.

I have made this very pretty bracelet with lovely ametrine beads, so pretty and so very sparkly! These ametrine rounds are microfaceted and measure a nice size of 10mm. Ametrine is a mix of amethyst and citrine, both of which are in the quartz family. I have beaded these with sterling silver beads and swarovski crystals and they are linked with sterling silver ropse twist round connectors. The charms are made up of pretty ametrine hand carved leaf beads...so pretty! Prettiest plumy purple translucent glass coated flowers with a stunning fire polished finish. Then there are hill tribe sterling silver flowers and leaves and swarvoski crystals. The clasp is a sterling silver rope twist toggle and the lenght is about 7.5"

I have made this necklace using stunning hand torched borosilicate lampwork beads..I love boro beads, as lampwork beads go boro are my favourite..the depth of colour outshine's all other types of lampwork glass, the colours of these beauty's need to be seen to be appreciated. They are a swirling rainbow of blues,purples and a touch of green. I have used one as a focal beaded with hill tribe sterling silver beads and swarovski crystals..all wired onto a hill tribe silver hoop. I have threaded this onto artist made 100% pure silk hand dyed ribbon overlocked with finest Italian silk thread..the wider thread is a deep plumy purple shade and the thiner thread is shades of sage green and purple. I have left the ribbon finish natural with just a knot at the end and a sterling silver bead, the necklace can be worn long if you slide the second boro bead to the end of the threads..or slide it down to wear it shorter.

full lenght gives it a lenght of about 26" with a pendant drop of 2"

'Masquerade...paper faces on parade'...I just love 'The Phantom of the opear'. One of my favourite scenes is the Masquerade ball when the phantom decends the staircase wearing the 'red death' costume.

'Masquerade' is one of signature designs, the first one I made a few years ago was the first themed charm bracelet I had ever made. This one is made with~

A cherry blossom is the name for the flower of cherry trees known as Sakura, In English, the word "sakura" is equivalent to the Japanese flowering cherry.

This design is made up with hot cherry pinks, pale pinks, black and contrasted with aqua…. A bright a cheery design for the summer.
All beaded entirely onto gunmetal black chain, with gunmetal findings and ornate black lobster clasp, with an adjustable length of 7.5” with a one inch extender.

There is a hematite heart at the centre point of this design, along with a lovely little pale pink and black polymer butterfly button..then there are 4 hot cherry pink lucite sakura blossoms and 4 large matt black lucite leaves. Sakura~ or cherry blossom..so pretty and perfect for summer.

This set is made with hand made lampwork glass lentils made by Vicki Honeywill at pure shore lampwork. They are a lovely deep cherry pink on an ivory base with a tiny white blossom and strands of black..I think they look very oriental. The necklace is made with one large round (or coin shaped) lentil that measures 23mm across. I have wired it onto gunmetal black wire with aged sterling silver beads and gunmetal spacers. Below this you have a gunmetal black filigree leaf, an antique bronze 3 leaf flower with a gunmetal finish and rhinestone center, and a deep pinky red rose bud. I have attached this to gunmetal black chain. The earrings are made with the same lampwork beads and these are 19mm, aged sterling silver beads and are attached to long gunmetal black ear wires.

'Afternoon Tea'~ this design is based on that very British tradition of afternoon tea. Picture the scene, ladies taking an afternoon stroll through the english countryside, past a church with a cherry blossom on the tree's, bee's are buzzing and the birds singing and a little black cat crossed their path (for good luck of course) They come across a charming little tea room and decide to take afternoon tea...

I have used a lovely silver tone and black cat charm at the center of this bracelet, with lovely deep strawberry red lampwork beads with a pink cherry blossom flower and green leaf design. Then there are green pressed glass leaves and lucite strawberry charms, there are also 3 vintage luctice strawberries, 2 polymer clay daisies, 2 silver tone bee's, a vintage sterling silver church charm, acrylic white birds, 2 lampwork glass teapots and 2 lampwork tea cups, vintage italian mottled green glass rounds, green cloissone beads, a lampwork glass chocolate bead, vintage 1950's strawbery red lucite flowers beaded with tiny mottled Italian green glass beads, a large white lucite filigree flower beaded with a vintage strawberry red flower and vintage green glass bead, a carved white snow quartz flower beaded with a vintage green glass bead, an artist made red polymer clay rose, an artist made red polymer clay poppy, a white layered acrylic flower beaded with a siam red swarovski crystal and an acrylic deep red round bead.

'Serengeti' earrings are made with Premium Czech Glass Large Rectangle Window beads. They are multi shades of creamy beige, coffee and raspberry with markings that are a pale chocolate colour..really lovely beads! I have beaded these with golden caramel colourd czech glass beads, round glass beads that are a silvery grey colour and gemstone rounds that I think is plum jade. Also there are Thai karen hill tribe sterling silver leaves. The earring wires are sterling silver. They are approx 3" long.

I just love Jane Austen, my all time favourite film has to be ‘pride and prejudice’, I have watched it so many times I think I know the script by heart.. This design is inspired my Jane and her wonderful books. There is a matching cahrm bracelet and earrings also available.

The necklace consists of a pendant made with a clear and black stripped blown glass bead, beaded with gold tone beadcaps and beads. Dangling below from various strands of gold plated chain are~ a pale pink polymer rose, a silver foil lampwork glass heart with a white dore and pale pink rose design, a cream faux teardrop pearl charm with austrian crystal rondell and round faux pearl, a vintage brass book charm beaded with a swarovski pearl and jet black swarovski bicone , a cream swarovski pearl beaded below a jet black aurora borialis swarovski bicone and tiny fluted gold tone bead, a small brass key charm, a tiny deep rose pink porcelain rose and a single cream swarovski pearl.

This is a hand crafted charm bracelet made from beads that have been collected from all over the world. My designs are one of kind and you wont find the same item any where else. My designs have also featured in ‘Bead Magazine’

One of my favourite themes for a charm bracelet has to be the sea. I love the shades of aqua and green teamed with the little shells and sea creature charms, and its perfect for this time of year...'de la mer' ( of the sea) is jam packed with artist made lampwork beads and vintage beads.

Firstly there are 5 handmade lampwork shells made by Trudi Doherty..3 are a lovely pale aqua colour and 2 are a pale golden yellow with strands of silver glass running through. There are 4 stunning large aqua crackle finish acrylic drops that look just like glass but are lovely and light weight to wear. Then you have 5 acrylic beads that also look like lampwork~ 3 rounds and 2 coin shaped….they are clear with strands of sea green and blue. There a 2 clear acrylic beads with flecks of white, drum shaped frosted aqua glass beads that look like sea glass, a pale aqua bumpy lampwork glass bead, faceted acrylic beads, vintage clear acrylic dimpled beads, vintage flecked aqua and turquoise glass beads, faceted Czech glass beads, tiny vintage Lucite creamy coloured shells, vintage gold tone clam shells, vintage gold tone starfish, 2 vintage Lucite creamy pink clam shells, a turquoise blue starfish button, vintage aqua acrylic ‘sea anemone’s’, and peachy pink acrylic ‘sea anemone’s’.

This is the latest in my Wild flowers collection..I just love flowers and they feature in lots of my designs so I have dedicated a whole collection to them! This is design number 8 if I remember right and it is made using this seasons must have shades of black, silver grey and purple..perfect with that little black dress for a party!

The main feature of this design is of course the passion flowers. I have made these in layers of black acrylic 6 petal flowers, silver tone spiky flowers, a purple acrylic 5 petal flower, a Czech glass flower with a half mirror coating and a swarovski crystal in the center..there are 5 of these flowers in this design. Desert Moon is a lovely chunky bracelet and I love this colour combo! I have made it with 4 chunky ovals of turquoise tree agate gemstones, 2 deep red ovals of czech glass, 3 gorgeous borosilicate glass beads in a deep red colour with flecks of blue and silverstone spacers. The toggle clasp is a silver tone moon and star shape and the bracelet is finished with charms made of a turquoise lampwork bead/red glass bead and a small silver tone sun.

This is the latest in my Wild flowers collection..I just love flowers and they feature in lots of my designs so I have dedicated a whole collection to them! This is design number 7 if I remember right..

I remember as a little girl I used to love going for walks in the summer with my dad..through fields, down country lanes to the park..through woods, and if we couldnt find any woods to walk in then the little patches of greenery with the occasional tree on the way to the park, I would imagine was a dark wood with a little path way cutting through..and on the way I would collect daisies for daisy chains, and buttercups to pick and hold under somebody's chin to see if they liked butter or not! lol..the silly things you do when your child! anyway, that is the inspiration behind this design.

There are firstly 5 vintage lucite charms - 2 daisies and 3 black eyed susans ( sometimes called yellow daisies) with 4 sage green lucite leaves...5 artist made polymer roses that are a lovely pale glittery golden yellow and white, a pale yellow buttercup and a white and lemon strawberry flower, all hand crafted by Elise Canning. There are then clusters of frosted lemon yellow buttercups beaded with a vintage pale green glass bead in the center. There is a Karen hill tribe sterling silver butterfly and 2 silver tone bumble bee's and a white porcelain rose..the rest of the beads are vintage yellow lucite beads, vintage pale green acrylic beads, facted acrylic beads in pale green and yelow, czech glass pillows in an olive green with flashes of darker green stripes, white mountain jade, peridaot green glass rounds and green acrylic vintage rose buds.

I have used a double link silver tone chain and lobster clasp and the bracelet is 7.5" with a one inch extender..finished with a sterling silver 'Blue Tiger' logo charm.

The fine silver filigree baubles used in these earring have been hand crafted by myself using pmc ( precious metal clay) when the clay is fired with a torch the binders in the clay burn away and you are left with silver than is 99.9% pure (purer than sterling silver) I have left them with mainly a brushed finish but have burnished some of the more raised area's to give them a little shine and sparkle. I have beaded them with sterling silver beads and spacers and the earring wires are sterling silver.

The bauble's measure about 2cm's across and the over all lenght is just short of 5cm

uk law requires all fine silver jewellery over 7.78gms to be hallmarked but as these do not fall into that catagory it is not required for these earrings.

There is no main focal to this design, it is a continuous design..however there are 3 big bold and beautiful vintage plum Lucite orchids flowers to give the bracelet a real wow factor.. ( we all love a little wow factor don’t we ladies!) Wired jewellery is something I love, and have tried without much success I have to say..but I made this bracelet as part of wire challenge in an online beading group that I am a member of and was pretty happy with the result for once!..needless to say its quite addictive so will hopefully be doing some more wiring in the future.

As I was basically practicing I have used silver plated wire for this design, the central beads are made of acrylic and are a lovely sea green colour with streaks of blue..they look like glass but are lovely and light weight making the bracelet easy to wear. The focal is a large coin shaped and there are two chunky discs either side. The wire twists around the beads and I have used sterling silver beads and bead caps either side. Then I have used sea green lampwork glass spacers, with sterling silver bead caps, swarovksi crystals and karen hill tribe silver twisty spacers, and again the wire twists around the design. The clasp is a simple silver plated lobster claps with a few extra links to extend the lenght of the bracelet from 7.5"-8", and the bracelet is finished with a tiny lampwork nugget bead,

A stunning bracelet that really needs to be seen to see how gorgeous the beads I have used are~ 5 lovely lampwork 'puddles' made by lampwork artist Rob Johnson. They are a very pale aqua colour with aqua and lavender frit design and they have a real water like quality. The rest of the bracelet is made with swarovski crystals and sterling silver beads. The charms are made with swarovski crystals, pale blue gemstones (which I think if I remember right is blue candy jade) clear acrylic flowers beaded with amethyst roundells and clear cubes with an AB finish, clear acrylic leaves, tiny amethyst coloured flowers and lilac glass rounds.

Agean is a pretty 2 strand floater style necklace. Lovely and light to wear and perfect for summer. It is made with lovely faceted aquamarine gemstone coins, champagne quartz roundelles, swarovski crystals and vermeil spacers. They are all crimped in place with gold tone crimps onto satin gold coloured beadalon. The clasp is a vermeil hook clasp.

The earrings are made in the same way, crimping the beads in pace onto the strands of wire. I have also added vermeil beads, spacers and bead caps and a lovely agean blue real pearl.

The earrings are just short of 9 cm's to the tip of the earring wire. The necklace is about 18"

I love flowers so it seamed obvious to base a collection on them. ‘Fairy foxglove’ is the latest in the ‘Wildflowers’ series. Fairy foxgloves are small lilac/purple flowers, rather than the bell type flower that you usually associate with foxgloves.

The focal to this design is a dusky mauve Lucite flower beaded with a gold tone bead cap and chartreuse green glass pearl and large matt gold tone veined leaf. There are 10 frosty green Lucite maple leaves, 4 smaller gold tone leaves, there are frosted plum lucite flowers, lilac lucite flowers, palest pinky lilac lucite flowers and purple acrylic flowers all beaded with chartreuse green glass pearls. Pale sage green and lilac glass beads, faceted fire polished moss green Czech glass beads with a design that I can only describe as a snake skin effect, faceted fire polished sage green Czech glass beads, faceted mauve silk Czech glass beads, vintage lucite pale pink moon glow beads, 5 lampwork glass beads in shades of lilac and mauve made by lampwork artist Colette Ladley, more chartreuse green glass pearls, frosted amethyst and transparent amethyst glass beads, green sage green cabbage roses and 2 large prehnite gemstones.

'Angel's Tears' is the lastest in a series of designs based on wildflowers..I love flowers and use them all the time in my designs so decided to make a collection based on different ones..this one is based on Narcissus triandrus..other wise known as Angels-tears...This is the third one in the series, the other two designs 'Wild roses' and 'black eyed susan' can be found in my shop...other wildflower design will be following in the coming weeks.

The Angels tears flowers themselves have been made using 12 frosted matt white lucite bell flowers, I have beaded them in clusters of 3 and in each cluster the central flower is beaded with a goldtone filigree beadcap and 2 gold 'stamen' with either 2 tiny faux pearls, or 2 tiny pale golden glass cubes. The 2 flowers either side are beaded with a deep bronze coloured czech glass bead. There are 5 large pale goldtone leaves, 3 vintage charcole coloured vintage acrylic beads that I have beaded with a vintage acrylic goldtone bead caps and I think these look like acorns! There are 2 black striped blown glass lampwork beads, vintage faux pearl drops beaded with goldtone bead caps, inky blue acrylic drops, vintage pale pink faux pearls, a vintage carved black acrylic bead, vintage clear acrylic dimpled beads, 4 faceted opalite hearts, plum jade gemstone rounds, white mountain jade gemstone rounds, opalite roundsa and deep gold swarovski pearls

Wildthing..you make my heart sing!

I have made several 'wildthings', this one has been made with artist made polymer clay beads in a lovely amber colour with a slight metalic finish, with a black tiger like stripe. I have teamed these with mottled grey fossil agate gemstone, swarovski crystals and copper findings. The clasp is a copper coloured lobster clasp and copper ring.

These earrings are called 'Karma' after the beads that have been used to create them..the fabulous lampwork beads were made by Lorna Prime. I have kept the design simple to showcase these stunning beads that are a lovely deep burnt orange colour with a lotus blossom design and slightly raised dots. I have added blue chalk turquoise gemstones, swarovksi crystals, Bali sterling silver bead caps, beads and spacers and the earring wires are also sterling silver.

have designed this with Valentines day in mind...why not buy that special somebody a boquete of roses that wont die after a while...why not buy her a lone of a kind piece of jewellery as a lasting reminder. This peice is a little more minimal than my usual charm bracelets, and have kept the design simpler. I have used a 7.5" silver tone chain and ornate toggle clasp and have added to this~ 5 hand crafted polymer clay roses in deep red, all hand made by Elise Canning. 3 of them have a siam red swarovski crystal in the center (set in the center by Elise when she made them) and I have beaded these with small vintage red glass hearts dangling below. The other 2 have a slightly darker red center. and these I have beaded with a siam red swarovski crystal dangling below. I have then used 4 creamy white hearts carved with a flower design, 4 large Red mountain jade gemstones all beaded with silver tone bead caps, 4 clear acrylic roses beaded with a siam swarovski crystal in the center, 3 clear acrylic daisy flowers beaded with silvertone bead caps and cherry red coral in the center. Then there are 2 silvertone flowers also beaded with a silver tone bead caps and cherry red coral gemstones. Finished with a sterling silver 'Blue Tiger' logo charm

This design is based around the lovely mimosa yellow vintage flowers, it is a lovely fresh design perfect for summer

Lenght is extendable from about 7.5" to 8" and the bracelet is finished with an ornate lobster clasp and 'Blue Tiger' logo charm. The focal flower is a large mimosa yellow vintage enamel metal flower (size about 42mm) beaded with a premium czech glass faceted aqua blue bead. Sitting either side are 2 soft yellow vintage lucite pansies beaded with pale aqua firepolished czech glass beads. There are 5 peachy coloured porcelain pillows with a tiny tangerine flower design and I have beaded them with small swarovski erinite crystals. The rest of the bracelet is made up of vintage german lime green glass tulips, glass tulip bells in a milky orange shade, tiny champagne lustre glass bell flowers, acrylic frosted orange flowers, tiny acrylic white birds, vintage lucite marbled beads in pale blue with swirls of orange, more premium czech glass art glass beads, vintage acrylic grapefruit yellow spoke flowers beaded with aqua fire polished czech glass beads and lime green acrylic orchids beaded with tiny champagne luster bell flowers.

very pretty vintage style earrings made with white glass lampwork beads with a very pretty deep pink orchid design, these have been beaded with gold tone beads and bead caps. Dangling below attached to gold tone chain is a large gold plated twisted hoop and sitting inside is a tiny carved white bird. Attached to chain along side this are 2 vintage green lucite leaves and a tiny gold tone flower, on the other lenght of chain is a tiny pink aluminum rose and a vintage leaf. I have also added a olive green swarovski pearl.

I have used vermeil earring wires and the lenght of the earrings is about 4.5" (just over 11cm)

These are a very pretty pair of earrings that I have hand crafted in a vintage style, using white glass lampwork beads with a lovely delft blue rose design, with darker blue leaves and tiny pale pink flowers. These have been beaded with vermeil daisy beads, gold tone beads and bead caps. Below are 3 strands of gold plated fine chain to one I have attached a vintage delft blue glass bead, that has been beaded with vermeil and gold plated beads, to one other I have attached a tiny pale pink porcelaine rose and to the last I have attached a pale blue vintage acrylic flower beaded with a powder pink swarovski pearl and a gold tone leaf charm.

The earring wires are vermeil and the earrings measure about 4.5 " (just over 11cm)

This is a hand crafted necklace that I have made with a combination of beads, that I have collected from all over the world. My designs are one of a kind peices, you wont find the exact same item anywhere. My designs have featured in 'Bead' magazine.

This necklace is made with an artist made lampwork lentil bead that came from a set called 'monet's garden' by the artist who made them. They are lovely swirling shades of purples, blues and greens. I have beaded this with Bali sterling silver bead caps and dangling below are Swarovski Crystals and 2 Thai Karen hill tribe charms~ one leaf and one rose bud. It is threaded onto lilac suede cord and a thinner navy blue cotton cord. The clasp is a Hill tribe silver hook clasp. The lenght is approximately 17" with a sterling silver extender chain of about 2", to the end of the chain I have attached another hill tribe silver leaf charm and swarovski chrystal.

This necklace is made with a sleeping beauty turquoise gemstone pendant, it is teardrop shaped and its a lovely turquoise and purple colour..this is achieved when turquoise is heated turning it this lovely shade. Beaded with this I have simpled added a Thai Karen Hill tribe sterling silver butterfly charm and a swarovksi chrystal. It is threaded onto black satin ribon. The clasp is a Hill tribe silver hook clasp. The lenght is approximatly 16" with a sterling silver extender chain of about 2", to the end of the chain I have attached another hill tribe silver butterfly charm and swarovski chrystal.
