Silver Sled with Vintage Style Spun Cotton Santa

I painted this sled silver and trimmed the blades in silver glitter. The top of the sled is trimmed in silver tinsel.
Santa is handmade spun cotton with a clay face that I sculpted, painted and then applied a wool beard. His clothes are hand dyed cotton with a black belt and gold dresden buckle. I also painted his boots black.
I sewed him a black sack and filled it with toys. I made 2 candy canes and a little Christmas stocking. I also make the gift he's carrying on his lap. The doll in his sack is a vintage decoration and I also added a little bottle brush tree.

This sled measures 4 3/4" long and about 4 1/4" tall to the top of the toys.

I made this Santa from spun cotton. He has a clay face that I molded and then painted. I also attached a wool beard. His clothes are hand dyed cotton. I painted the boot black and put the santa inside along with a pine branch. I also put in 2 handmade candy canes, some red pips and 2 miniature sugar cookies (one in the shape of a star and the other a christmas tree). Santa is holding a bottle brush wreath with a red bow.
On the front of the boot is a red Merry Christmas sign.
The boot stands on a gold glittered base.
This ornament measures almost 5 1/2" tall to the tip of the pine branch.

This pumpkin dolls head is hand sculpted from clay (no molds) and then I painted her face.
Her body is sewn from cloth and painted and sanded to look aged.
All of the details are hand painted from her checkered pants to her broad grin and white teeth.
Her arms are attached to her shoulders with orange buttons.
The little one is entirely made of cloth that has been painted and sanded to match Mom. They both have cute curly pointed shoes.
The large doll measures 18 inches long and is weighted so she can sit on her own. She also has knees that bend if you want to sit her on a ledge.
The baby measures 8 inches and is not attached to Mom so she can be moved around.

This spun cotton ornament is different than any other I have made. Because except for the mother witch being permanently seated, you can put baby witch in her arms as in picture or stand her up next to mom. The spell book, the black rose and the broom can all be placed any way you want them. The big witch seated measures 5 1/2" tall to the tip of her hat. I made both hats from fabric hand sewn and then painted them. Mom and baby witch have painted black boots and brown paint to look laced up.
They both have crepe paper clothes, mom has glass bead buttons. Both have scrap faces and wool hair. The book and broom are also handmade. The box that mother witch sits on is made to look old and used.

This angel ornament is handmade spun cotton with a scrap face.
The dress is made from vintage light aqua crepe paper with a cream colored sash decorated with vintage stamens.
He is also holding 2 vintages stamens in his hand.
His wings are silver dresden.
He has a halo of silver tinsel around his head and he's standing and silver glittered star.
He stands 4 1/2 inches tall.

This Victorian lady is dressed up to go out on the town.
She is made of spun cotton on top and a cone on the bottom. Her blouse is black crepe paper with puffy shoulders. It's finished in the back with beads.
Her skirt is black paper with white pinstripes and is trimmed on the bottom with black lace and beads. She also has a pretty overlay that is a sheer purple fabric with black velvet flowers and glitter. It closes at her waist with a small purple rosebud, plus there's a bow in the back.
The purse she carries in her left hand is black and covered in black glitter.
She wears a black choker around her neck with a silver crystal and pearl dangling charm.
Her hat is black crepe paper with a purple feather.
She's makes a perfect accent to a ladies vanity or nightstand.

She measures 7 1/2 inches from the bottom of her skirt to the top of her feather hat.

This lady is made of spun cotton on top and a cone on the bottom. Her face is vintage style scrap.
Her blouse is a cream colored crepe paper with a piece of antique beige hand crocheted edging purchased at an estate sale. She has a ribbon around her waist with a bow in the back. Her skirt is paper with layers of vintage style lace across the back to make a bustle and trimmed with bows and pearls.
Her hat is also ribbon and lace with a tiny bow on the back and forget me knots around the top. In her left hand she's carrying a little copper heart charm from a necklace.
The perfect piece for a vanity or nightstand.

This pretty in pink Victorian lady has a ton of detail.
The top half is spun cotton and the bottom is a cone. Her face is a copy of an antique scrap face.
Her skirt is pink and white stripe with vintage black trim around the edges and a full black netting bustle in the back finished off with a black bow.
She has a fancy pink crepe paper ruffle around her blouse trimmed with pink pearls. She also has pink pearl buttons down the back of her blouse.
She has the same pink ruffles around her cuffs.
Her hat is made from pink crepe paper with a white feather and she wears a pink choker necklace with a black millinery flower.
In her right hand she's holding a pink glittered mask for the masquerade ball. In her left hand she's holding a pink swarovski crystal heart.
She's appoximately 8 inches tall from the bottom of her skirt to the top of her feather.
What a pretty girly piece to put on a vanity or a nightstand.
