I made this pretty steampunk style pendant by setting a gorgeously intricate jewelled watch movement into a vintage brass floral stamping adorned by tiny sky blue chalcedony gemstone beads.

This dainty pendant hangs on a brass ox chain into which I have incorporated some more blue chalcedony gemstone beads. It fastens with a little lobster clasp

I incorporated a total of 7 gemstones into this design because 7 is a magic number.

The pendant part measures about 3/4" (2cm) across and 1 1/2" (4cm) long down to the lowest bead. The chain is a little over 18" (45cm) long.

I made this necklace with handmade paper beads crafted from a vintage newspaper (dated Tuesday May 8, 1979). This paper has such a beautiful "aged antique paper" colour - compeletely natural! I strung the newsprint beads together with some small glossy black glass beads and gleaming ivory coloured glass pearls salvaged from some old necklaces.

The necklace fastens with a delicate sterling silver hook clasp.

I finished the paper beads with matt varnish but please don't get them wet and preferably don't spray perfume on them :)
