the little creatures are hand painted with my tiny little brush. i am a sucker for detail painting! the background is the only thing that i collage, and it's a strange collage process at that. in all each painting has six layers. then of course the varnish. and i should mention that every piece is a little different, sometimes i skip or switch layers. it's hard to really see what is going on from my photos, they are much more dynamic in person. thanks for your intrest!!! -jessy
