Using the pattern for the patchwork stars, I have made this sweet little garland, spelling out JOY! This garland of stars measures about 12" in length without the red floss hangers (they are about 2-3" in length each). The stars are about 4“ across and 4-1/2 tall, each.

The lettering is hand stitched in a deep red embroidery floss. They are slightly stained with walnut ink for a primitive look. Rather not have them stained--LET me know, I would love to make one just for YOU!

Once finished, they are sugared with German Glass glitter, for a beautiful shimmery vintage look!

The fabrics may vary from the photo, but will be very much similar to colors shown.

This would be darling on your Christmas tree as an ornament, perfect on a wreath etc!

A small tag, but it packs a lot of punch!

Great gift tags for your holiday packages. You will get a set of 6 tags. The base is a wonderful deep red, my favorit! I have used recycled paper in a kraft, it has an embossed 'merry' at the bottom. Two different green holiday trees adorn the top of the tag. Finishing it off is the tiny hand stamped "Christmas" on a great sage green cardstock. The string is prefect with a mixture of the red, kraft and cream twist.

On the back, I can add "to" and "from" as shown on one of the tags. Let me know if you would like this included!

Each tag measures about 2-3/" tall by 1-3/4" wide.

These turned out so vintage lovely! Chocolate brown textured cardstock is the backing topped with an ivory cardstock. Hand stamped bracket journal spot in chocolate brown and "Thanks" in a soft vintage blue. It perfectly matches my flourished butterfly! Love the dimension it gives {remember to fluff it's wings when they arrive}. The edges have been softly chalked for a vintage feel!

A vintage blue piece of embroidery floss for the hanger.

These 6 tags measure about 3-3/4" across by 2-5/8" high.

Isn't this fabric just FAB?? I love the cute fall colors and the mod trees. Crisp white background makes them all pop! I used an orange mini polka dot fabric on the inside.

SUPER Darling, this one is my favorite now!! A little Frosty pouch made from wool felt that has been stained slightly, added wool felt face features. The little mouse is also made of wool felt, he has an old red wool scarf tied around his neck, bead eyes and great whiskers! I have added preserved cedar and chenille candy canes. Isn't this just darling?? A fun new ornament! He measures about 6"x6". Made from a natural homespun, stained, painted and stained again!! His eyes are hand stitched, painted mouth and twig nose wrapped with rusty wire make him SO PRIMITIVE! His hat is handmade as well, some fun greenery and red berries and of course Mica flakes sprinkled around complete him! A black hanger to hang him from the tree! I have used a navy wool felt for the top layer, adding super fun little snowmen and pine trees cut from wool felt. All hand appliqued on, adding his face, and arms. Then, I added tiny irridescent seed beads for {snow}. The bottom layer is a deep rusty red wool felt (it hides all the stitching. So dimensional, and SO DANG CUTE! Add a votive holder with a candle and you will have wonderful winter setting! This can be out all winter long!!

I finally finished this punchneedle project! A folk art Uncle Sam, from a darling pattern by Brenda Gervais!

This is the finished project, the punch needle piece measures about 5-1/2" wide and 4-1/2" high. It has been mounted on a rusty red piece of wool felt. The frame is also hand made by my dad. A wonderful piece of recycled barn wood. Hints of the rusty red paint still in tact. Nail holes and weathered perfectly by Mother nature, completes this primitive look!

Uncle Sam's beard has been needlefelted with a natural wool roving.

The frame measures on the outside, 12" x 12". I have backed the finished piece with brown paper bag, complete finished look. I have also put a sawtooth hanger on the back if you want to hang your new work of art!

This is a one of a kind, I will not be making another one!~

Quilt shop quality fabric, deep, rich browns, reds, golds and greens.

I have hand knit mini flowers in two shades of pink, adding vintage buttons from my button stash for the flower center! The buttons will vary, but will add the best vintage ones I can find!!

The cozy measures about 5-1/2" at widest point of the pouch, it narrows up a bit to 5" at pocket (no worries any cellphone will fit in it, along with MP3 Players, my iPhone fits with its protector on it too). When closed, it measures about 3-1/4" tall. It is sturdy. A pattern design by keykalou.

A great gift item for the holidays! Stocking stuffer!

I have started with a shipping tag, aged it with chalk, then stamped in bamboo colored pigment, this beautiful image and thank you!

How about leaving the center blank and using them for Escort Cards at your wedding, you could hand print the names of your quests and table seating!

Primitive Cat Face Pocket with Mouse

A fun new project, a special requst by a customer, and just had to offer this to everyone else! I love how it turned out.

The vintage primitive cat face pocket made of black wool felt, hand stitched details for it's face. I have stuffed the face with polyfill, added some moss and my hand made mouse (made of wool felt and from a pattern by Country Stitches) and a fun little pumpkin. His little tail hangs from the pocket, so cute. A rusty wire is sewn on for hanging your ornament.

The cat face measures about 5" wide and 4-1/2" tall, with the wire, the whole thing is about 8" tall.

Due to the nature of this item, shipping is Priority in a box for $4.95. This is a stock photo, so some of the stitching will vary; the beauty of a handmade item!

Pumpkin Mouse Primitive Pocket

This little mouse is so cute, as far as rodents go.....

The fun little pumpking pocket is created out of a course fabric, hand painted, sanded and stained, wonderful old look to it! Hand stitched eyes and mouth. The nose is a piece of grapevine stitched on. The nose will vary some may be a bit crooked, some straight {this is a stock photo I have used}. The pocket is filled with this sweet faced mouse made of wool felt and moss. A rusty wire is hand stitched for the hanger. You will just LOVE his tail!!

The pocket measures close to 8", the wire hanger will add another 3-4" to the total length.

Shipping is Priority in a box, so we don't squish the poor little mouse!

So many uses for these!

Scrapbooking, save the date cards or tags, calendar spots, birthday cards, anniversary or birthday reminders (add a magnet to the back, circle the date and put somewhere for you significant other will see!).

In this set you will get all 12 months, each month done in a different color. The month is stamped (it has a slight distressed look to it), in a coordinating color to match the backing cardstock. The month and dates are stamped on ivory cardstock and have been embossed around the outer edge.

Each circle measures about 2-3/8" in diameter.

I just completed this and ohhhhhh, myyyyyyyy.....

Too cute for words! I have completely handstitched this piece. It is made from wool felt, a soft creamy color is the base, with a darker pink for the bottom. The candles are a soft yellow, green, robin egg blue and darker pink. All the fun little seed beads add a wonderful little sparkle! They are in the same colors as the candles! It measures about 7-1/2" at the widest point. Design by Bareroots.

How cute would a beautifully decorated little cupcake be placed in the center? Viola, a perfect birthday gift for any BFF!!

These turned out so vintage lovely! Chocolate brown textured cardstock is the backing topped with an ivory cardstock. Hand stamped bracket journal spot in chocolate brown and "Thanks" in a soft vintage blue. It perfectly matches my flourished butterfly! Love the dimension it gives {remember to fluff it's wings when they arrive}. The edges have been softly chalked for a vintage feel!

A vintage blue piece of embroidery floss for the hanger.

These 6 tags measure about 3-3/4" across by 2-5/8" high.

These would be perfect for escort tags, journal spots in scrapbooking, great anything tags! Just ask!

These are so perfect!! I just love how they turned out. I have cut a rusty orange Bazzill cardstock for the tag. They measure 2-1/8" x 4-1/4". I hand stamped the images with black pigment ink and also inked the edges softly with black. I added vintage black rick-rick and buttons at the bottom! A black circle reinforcement on the punched hole. Black cording for the strings. LOVE THEM!

Buttons my vary, but will be similar.

"Hoot" Loves Ya Baby??

This idea has been swimming around in my head for months, and I FINALLY got around to making it! I hope you like how it turned out!

Each piece is hand cut (no diecuts)and hand stitched together! I started with a bit of a darker tan colored wool felt. Added my little owls, a small brown plaid wool for the body of the owl and adding various colors of wool for the wings, eyes, etc. I hand stitched "hoot" around the edges (this can be taken off and left plain, if you like). Then the base is a rusty brown piece of wool felt.

It measures about 8-1/2" at the widest point.

A pattern will be coming sooooon!!

This comes from a smoke free home!

A funky Halloween candle mat with darling Jacks and Cats! Completely hand cut and handstitched, this mini candle mat measures about 8-1/4" at widest point. I love the soft sage purple background (it is much softer than the picture shows) with the softer pumpkin color. The black cats have lime green seed beads for eyes and the pumpkins have a golden yellow. They just glisten when you add your votive candle holder to the center. The bottom layer is black.
