One of my best selling designs for almost ten years, these lovely earrings are woven from fine silver wire. They are light-weight and great for any occassion, from a day at the office to a night out on the town to a picnic in the park. And because the wireballs are composed of fine silver, they are tarnish resistant! The wireballs dangle on sterling silver earwires that are accented with a sterling silver bead.

Including the earwire, the earrings measure about 1 inch in length and the silver wire ball is about 10 milimeters in diameter.

Orb Bits with Pearl, Recycled Silver Earrings, size Small

This is one of my favorite texture creations, made from heat-fusing sterling silver balls (that I make by melting down my silver scraps) to sterling silver circles that I reticulate (using heat to create a network of tiny wrinkles in the silver). The orb bits are then treated with a dark patina to bring out the contrast and undulations across their surfaces. Lastly, they are adorned with a burgundy red freshwater pearl that dangles seductively from each earring.

The earrings swing freely from my handmade sterling silver earwires for an overall length of about 1.25 inches (including the pearl). These eco friendly earrings come ready to wear or give as a gift on a handmade earring card.

I fabricate my orb bits earrings in several sizes that include small, medium, large, and extra large diameters. This listing is for one pair of SMALL ORB BITS EARRINGS. The overall diameter of these earrings is about 3/8 an inch, or about 10 mm.

BLUEBERRIES and CREAM, too - Enamel Earrings, XL

One of my favorite fruits to eat with pancakes, these bluebery and cream earrings stack up to a delicious color combination! A fresh burst of cobalt blue is layered over creamy white in these handmade enamel earrings.

Each disc is cut from copper sheet metal that I gently dome into a convex shape. The larger discs (creamy white with blue speckles) measure approximately 7/8" in diameter and are layered with mini cobalt blue discs that measure 5/8" in diameter.

Using vitreous enamel, I fire both sides of each copper component with my torch. The earrings are finished with my handmade sterling silver earwires. These blueberry and cream earrings dangle about 1.25" in length overall.

These earrings would make a fantastic treat for yourself or gift for a friend, and come ready to give on a handmade earring card inside a pretty, organza gift bag.

Rose of Rhodocrosite

These sweet little stud earrings are composed of pink, banded Rhodocrosite and sterling silver. Simple as a single rose, these handmade earrings measure approximately 10 x 14 mm and are soldered to sterling silver posts.

Rhodochrosite (whose name means rose-colored) is found in Argentina, Peru, Colorado and Montana, U.S, and Quebec, Canada.

Considered a stone of love and balance, Rhodocrosite is attributed with many powerful properties such as drawing love to the wearer, helping to release past psychological issues, increasing the ability to handle problems and increasing personal self-confidence, as well as improving eyesight. Rhodochrosite is thought to relieve stress and is used by healers to cleanse the aura.

The Incas, who called it Inca Rose, believed that rhodochrosite is the blood of their former kings and queens that was turned to stone.

I cut out round round discs from copper sheet metal and then apply layers of finely sifted enamel. Each earring is then torch-fired on the back and front at 1500 degrees, which fuses the enamel to copper, a lovely coating of colorful glass!

*Please note: I use only fine metals in my jewelry. That means no plated metals or base metals, both of which are notorious for causing itchy ears. Yuck! 14/20 gold-filled wire is 14 karat gold layered over the outer 20% of the wire, and a combination of sterling silver and other metals on the inner core of the wire. The 14 karat gold will never scratch or rub off, as is often the case with gold-plated metal. Gold-filled metal is a very economical substitute for 14 karat solid gold.

The trees are shrugging off their golden leaves. They glimmer in the moonlight, dancing in the gentle breeze - a miracle-dive against an autumn sky... falling, falling, falling.

Simple and elegant, as in nature, each leaf is totally unique. Made entirely from 14 karat yellow gold, I cut and shape each leaf by hand, texturing the surface with my favorite hammer, then I solder on a single vein of 14 karat gold. The gentle curve of each earring catches the light beautifully and will leave heads turning.

I have always been attracted to the plethora of color, texture, and pattern that is nature's canvas. I often bring plastic bags with me for long walks in the woods (and not because I have a dog), rather, I like to collect the random bits of nature that inspire my creative work. It wasn't until recently that I discovered how to incorporate these materials into my metal jewelry, in the "Captured Collection."

The "Captured Collection" explores the human need to make timeless the treasures in life that bring us joy. All things organic are in a constant state of change. By sealing these found materials in a clear epoxy resin, I am able to suspend them in time. By becoming a wearable object set in precious metal, each bit of bark, tiny flower petal, or golden autumn leaf is viewed in a new light that can be shared with a broader audience.

Silver Spiral Flower Earrings - LAST PAIR

Perfect for the gardener or a girl who loves flowers (and what girl doesn't like flowers?), each silver spiral flower earring features pretty petals radiating out from a central spiral blossom. The spiral is symbolic for fertility, eternity and luck.

I sculpted these earrings out of soft wax and then cast them in recycled sterling silver, using the lost-wax casting method. Each earring measures about 1 inch in diameter and because they are solid silver, each flower has a healthy weight. The earrings are soldered to a 925 silver post and come with a comfort disc earnut (see photo) for the ultimate support and comfort.

ARCHITECTURAL GAUDI RING

The inspiratino for this sculptural ring was my recent visit to Barcelona, where I reveled in the creations of famous Spanish architect, Antoni Gaudi, known for such works as Sagrada de Familia and Park Guell. I am a big fan of Gaudi's architectural designs that often reference natural structures, such as trees, caves, and even fruit.

I sculpted this ring in wax and cast it in solid sterling silver, wanting to create a unique ring silhouette that was architecturally interesting from every angle, but still very comfortable to wear. I took special care to concave the sides of the band so that they fit the natural cleaves between fingers. The final shape reminisces of a cave, the dorsal, or top of the ring, arched with stallagmites.

This is a limited edition art jewelry ring, available only in sizes 5 1/4, 5 1/2, 5 3/4 and 6.

The perfect accessory to celebrate your love for autumn. Two leaves are handcut from copper and enamelled in shades of green. I use a torch to fire the enamel, bringing it to 1500 degrees. The backsides of each leaf is counter-enamelled in shades of green, so these earrings are lovely from all angles.

These classic disc earrings feature sterling silver that has been textured to look like bark! I love it!

After cutting discs from 925 sterling silver, I texture and dome them so that they catch the light beautifully. The discs measure 3/8 inch in diameter and dangle from my handmade sterling silver earwires. Each earring hangs about one inch long overall.

I formed these earrings out of wax and then cast them in solid sterling silver. After soldering sterling silver posts onto the backs, I tumble polished the earrings to a satin silver finish. Each spiral star measures about 1/2 inch in diameter.

These earrings are handmade from copper that has been torch-fired on both sides with multiple layers of enamel pigment.

After cutting out discs from copper sheet metal, I gently dome each one into a convex shape. Using vitreous enamel, I fire both sides of each copper component. The larger discs measure 3/4" in diameter and are enamelled in sunshine yellow and spattered with a hint of orange. The smaller discs measure approximately 5/16" in diameter and are finished in a sassy orange peel texture.

These crazy wireball earrings are woven from 14/20 gold-filled wire, and encircled by handmade, hammered, sterling silver hoops.

With a gold and silver combo, these modern hoop earrings are even more versatile! And they transition beautifully from day to evening wear.

The overall length of these earrings is about 1.5 inches. The hammered hoop measures .75 inches in diameter and the silver wireballs are around 10 milimeters. The ear wires are made from 14/20 gold-filled wire.

Domed copper discs are torch-fired with enamel to create these one-of-a-kind earrings, that feature eucalyptus blue/green discs, each containing a clear swarovski crystal podling that dangles from sterling silver wire.

The enamelled discs measure 3/4 inch in diameter and hang from my handmade sterling silver earwires. The overall length of the earrings is about 1 1/4 inches.

The convex backsides of these earrings are also speckled with eucalyptus blue/green, making them beautiful from all sides!

QUEEN NEPTUNE - Hammered Copper Disc Earrings, 3/4 inch.

Named for the fourth largest planet in our solar system, the Queen Neptune earrings measure 3/4 inches in diameter.

Cut from 22 gauge copper sheet, they are 100% handmade. First, I use my favorite hammer to pattern the metal. Each disc is then subtly domed in a convex shape that hangs beautifully from my handmade sterling silver ear wires.

The earrings dangle about 1 1/4 inches in overall length and shimmer in the sunlight (even on a cloudy day). Finally, each copper disc is sealed with a clear lacquer to preserve it's shiny finish.

I have always been attracted to the plethora of color, texture, and pattern that is nature's canvas. I often bring plastic bags with me for long walks in the woods (and not because I have a dog - haha), but to collect the random bits of nature that inspire my creative work. Recently I discovered a great way actually incorporate these materials into my metal jewelry, in the "Captured Collection."

The "Captured Collection" explores the human need to make timeless the treasures in life that bring us joy. All things organic are in a constant state of change. By sealing these found materials in a clear epoxy resin, I am able to suspend them in time. By becoming a wearable object set in precious metal, each bit of bark, tiny flower petal, or golden autumn leaf is viewed in a new light that can be shared with a broader audience.

All of my work is handmade by me in my studio, located on the sunny side of a 100-year-old farmhouse in the woods of Virginia.

Modern Flower Necklace, Autumn - One of a Kind from the Captured Collection

Part of a one-of-a-kind trio, created in homage to my three favorite seasons: Spring, Summer, and Autumn (sorry old-man Winter), this listing is for one Modern Flower Necklace in AUTUMN RED/BROWN.

After cutting out a rectangular shape, texturing each component with a various hammers, sanding everything smooth, and soldering on the silver frame, I added textured bits of 14 karat yellow gold for the leaves and stem, and sealed a dried RED/BROWN ROSE PETAL behind clear resin to create the flower component.

This modern pendant measures approximately 1.5 x 1.25 inches and is handmade from sterling silver, 14 karat gold, a dried rose petal, and clear resin. Gliding on an 18 inch sterling silver snake chain, this piece is hallmarked on the back with my initials.

Due to it's one-of-a-kind nature, this necklace will ship with insurance both domestically and internationally.

This is one of my favorite texture inventions made from fusing sterling silver balls and bits (made from recycling my silver scrap) to silver sheet. The silver is then treated with a patina to oxidize the surface, further accentuating the undulations of this unique texture.

These rectangular earrings measure 1 inch in length by 5/8 inches wide (approximately 25 mm by 10 mm) and come on sterling silver posts or my handmade sterling silver earwires.

This is one of my favorite texture creations, made from heat-fusing sterling silver balls (that I make by melting down silver scraps) to sterling silver circles that I reticulate (using heat to create a network of tiny wrinkles in the silver). The orb bits are then pierced to make them "holey" and treated with a dark patina to bring out the contrast and undulations across their surfaces.

The earrings swing freely from my handmade sterling silver earwires for an overall length of about 1.25 inches. Earrings come ready to wear or give as a gift on a handmade earring card.

The Sterling Silver Oval and Black Onyx Necklace is composed of a black onyx gemstone, measuring 8x13 mm, that is set with four prongs in a sterling silver bezel. "Bloom where you're planted". That's my latest mantra. Tis the season for planting and blooming and the beginnings of new ideas taking root.

Carved from wax and cast in solid sterling silver, the Ophelia ring explores the sensuous relationship between repititious forms. Like a landscape, the shapes receed in size as they progress in space, or in this case, the ovals get smaller towards the underside of the band.

Named "Ophelia" for it's soft curves and feminine attributes, the ring is a U.S. size 6.75 (6 3/4), but can be stretched up to a size 7.5 (7 1/2).

These modern hoops remind of two of my favorite smells after it rains, earth and rust. The hoops are made from copper that has been treated with a special heat patina to achieve the speckled pattern. The copper is finished with a clear lacquer to retain it's color. Petite enamel discs are paired with the modern hoop earrings for a lovely combination of earth, rust, and gentle rain.

MAPLE LEAF, Copper Pin

Part of my new Vein Series, this pin is based on a MAPLE LEAF that I collected last autumn. After sawing the shape out of copper, I carefully hand-chased the leaf veins on the surface using a chisel-like tool, and hammered it to shape. A nickel pin stem is soldered on the back. The copper has been treated with a patina and then sprayed with clear lacquer to preserve the color.

This piece measures about 1.75 x 1.75 inches. It will look beautiful on a coat, blazer, hat, or worn as a scarf pin.

If you are interested in the Maple leaf, but don't wear pins or maybe you prefer silver??? No problem. This item can be handmade to order as a pendant or pin in copper or silver.

There's a reason why these Crazy WireBall earrings have been one of my best selling designs for almost ten years! Woven from tarnish-resistent fine silver wire, these light-weight earrings are great for any occassion, from dressy to casual. And because they dangle from gold-filled loops, they are super-versatile, and can be mixed or matched with any of your gold or silver jewelry.

Including the loopy earwire, the earrings measure about one inch in length and the silver wireball is about 10 mm in diameter (convo me for a price quote, for larger wireballs).

I hand formed the Artichoke Ring out of soft wax and then cast it in solid, sterling silver using the lost wax casting method. This is a one-of-a-kind, art jewelry ring that grew from my love affair with artichokes.

I have always been attracted to the plethora of color, texture, and pattern that is nature's canvas. I often bring plastic bags with me for long walks in the woods (and not because I have a dog - haha), but to collect the random bits of nature that inspire my creative work. Recently I discovered a great way actually incorporate these materials into my metal jewelry, in the "Captured Collection."

The "Captured Collection" explores the human need to make timeless the treasures in life that bring us joy. All things organic are in a constant state of change. By sealing these found materials in a clear epoxy resin, I am able to suspend them in time. By becoming a wearable object set in precious metal, each bit of bark, tiny flower petal, or golden autumn leaf is viewed in a new light that can be shared with a broader audience.

Since bracelets tend to move around your wrist, I've decided that the clasp is just as important as the rest. I created a sterling silver flower button just for this purpose. So that no matter how the bracelet turns around your wrist, part of this pretty garden bracelet is popping up this summer!

I formed the chrysanthemum flower in wax and cast it in recycled sterling silver. The handmade clasp measures approximately 1x1 inch, while the bracelet measures almost 8 inches in length. This bracelet will comfortably fit a medium to large female wrist.

Each disc is then subtly domed in a convex shape that hangs beautifully from my handmade sterling silver ear wires. Finally, each copper disc is sealed with a clear lacquer to preserve it's shiny finish.

I am currently running a special on these earrings, a new edition to my Crazy WireBall collection. Earrings are normally $18 a pair.

These earrings feature brightly colored copper wire in Flame Red, Navy Blue, or Forest Green. These spunky earrings are woven together like a ball of yarn and dangle from handmade sterling silver earwires. Each wireball measures about 10-12 milimeters in diameter. The earrings are lightweight and breezy, dangling about .75 (3/4) inches overall.

Crazy Silver Wireball Earrings with Black Onyx Bead

One of my best selling designs for almost ten years, these lovely earrings are woven from fine silver wire. They are light-weight and great for any occassion, from a day at the office to a night out on the town to a picnic in the park. And because the wireballs are composed of fine silver, they are tarnish resistant! The wireballs dangle on sterling silver earwires that are accented with a black onyx bead.

Including the earwire, the earrings measure about 1 inch in length and the silver wire ball is about 10 milimeters in diameter.

The serene colors of blue lake and copper blue combine to create one of the coolest color duos: blue and brown in these modern, layered enamel earrings.

These earrings are handmade from domed copper discs that I torch-fire on with layers of enamel. The enamelled discs measure approximately 5/6 and 5/16 inches in diameter and dangle from my handmade sterling silver earwires. Overall length is a tad over 1 inch.

I have always been attracted to the plethora of color, texture, and pattern that is nature's canvas. I often bring plastic bags with me for long walks in the woods (and not because I have a dog), rather, I like to collect the random bits of nature that inspire my creative work. It wasn't until recently that I discovered how to incorporate these materials into my metal jewelry, in the "Captured Collection."

The "Captured Collection" explores the human need to make timeless the treasures in life that bring us joy. All things organic are in a constant state of change. By sealing these found materials in a clear epoxy resin, I am able to suspend them in time. By becoming a wearable object set in precious metal, each bit of bark, tiny flower petal, or golden autumn leaf is viewed in a new light that can be shared with a broader audience.

Create your own Custom Color Reversible Enamel Spiral Pendant

By popular demand I am now offering the option to create your own custom color spiral pendant. You get to choose which colors you would like for the spiral on both sides of this pendant.

A few of the options are shown in the photos, but I have many more colors in stock. All colors are layered over a white background that is fired onto a copper disc, measuring approximately 3/4 inches in diameter. If you would prefer a 1 inch pendant, just let me know in the note to seller during check-out.

Orb Bits - Recycled Silver Pendant, Double

"Recycled Bits" is a brand new, enviro-friendly collection, in which I melt down and recycle my silver bench scraps to create one of my favorite metal textures.

To make the Orb Bits pendant, I heat-fuse recycled sterling silver balls to sterling silver discs that I reticulate (use heat to create a network of tiny wrinkles in the silver). The diameter of the pendant at it's widest point is .75 inches, or 3/4 inch.

Each Orb Bits pendant comes on an adjustable, 17 inch, sterling silver, cable chain with a lobster clasp. At the end of each chain, dangles a sexy, little orb bits disc that measures about 1/4 inch in diameter.

Matching Orb Bits earrings are shown in the last photo.

OPTIONS: Please let me know if you would prefer the dark patina or shiny finish (options shown in last photo). Just leave me a note during check-out.

These are the newest edition to my CrazyWireBall Collection!

These crazy wireball earrings are woven from fine silver wire, and encircled by a handmade hammered sterling silver hoop! Perfect for any occassion, from dressy to casual, these earrings are light-weight and flirty.

The earwires are made from sterling silver with a black onyx bead accent (Please leave me a note during check-out if you would like to purchase all silver earwires without the onyx bead).

The overall length of these earrings is about 1.5 inches. The hammered hoop measures .75 inches in diameter and the silver wireballs are around 10 milimeters.

Slightly spicy, and freshly baked, the smell of sweet gingerbread is in the air! These earrings are handmade from domed copper discs that have been enamelled on both sides with warm, brown, gingerbread. Under-firing them ever so slightly, I've created a lovley, bumpy, orange-peel-like texture surface on the enamel.

The enamelled discs measure approximately .5 inches in diameter and dangle 1.25 inches on my handmade sterling silver earwires.

This Mod Lichen Pendant is composed of lichens that have been set in sterling silver and permanently sealed behind a clear resin. Some of these lichens were found on the grounds of a plantation home that was built in the 1700s on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. Others have been discovered while hiking along the banks of the James River.

Named for the largest planet in our solar system, each "Hey Jupiter" earring measures a generous 1 1/2 inches in diameter. These are for the adventurous girl with a heart as big as the solar system!

These earrings are 100% handmade. First, I cut each disc from 22 gauge copper sheet metal. I then softly dome each one in a convex shape so that it will catch the light. Next, I apply layers of powdered glass enamel in crimson red with a dash of love on both sides of each earring, using a torch at 1500 degrees to fire the enamel. After achieving the desired effect, I finish each earring by hanging it from one of my handmade sterling silver ear wires. The earrings dangle about 1 3/4 inches in overall length.

Because these earrings are handmade to order, every pair will be unique and may vary slightly from the photos.
