Care:
As it is made with 100% merino wool and embellished with a mohair blend, this hat should be hand washed with a mild detergent in cold water. Lay flat to dry.

This hat will fit a small/medium adult head, approximately 20 inches to 22 inches (or 50.8 cm to 55.9 cm) in diameter.

For the true rawbar lover, there is my oyster on the halfshell brooch. It will definitely add a little sparkle and a little whimsy to your outfit. This shellfish brooch is made out of fleece, wool felt, seed beads, gold and red thread, embroidery floss, and a faux pearl.

Brooch is 2.5" (6 cm) wide and 4" (10 cm) long. The metal pin back is securely sewn on with embroidery floss.

Goldenrod Mittens - Felted Recycled Wool - Womans Size Small

These mittens used to be a favorite wool skirt of mine. After an unfortunate laundry incident, the skirt had been felted. When life gives me wool felt, I make mittens.

The fabric is very thick, which makes these mittens very warm. They are great for scraping the ice off of your windshield on a cold morning. But they are probably not so great for typing.

I hand stitched these mittens with gold thread to give them a little sparkle. They are a rich camel color (yellow ochre) with a faint plaid pattern in white and light brown.

These mittens will fit a small woman's hand. My hands are really small, and these fit me perfectly. They are about 8.5" (22cm) long and 5" (12.5cm) at the widest point.

Sometimes it seems that development in America will consume the last of the wild places and natural resources. The "green" movement is okay as long as no one is required to make any real sacrifices. Most people would not forgo selling land for a new subdivision to save a few trees. We will scrub away all of the layers of the natural world before they realize there's no turning back.
