Teardrops in a clear resin with black detailing. These are so pretty with recesses filled with black accent and a swirling paisley pattern on both sides. The beads each measure 26.5mm x 11mm.

These darling earrings feature vintage cream colored beads with a swirl pattern. I found them in a little antique shop. The original markings showed that they were made in Austria, most likely in the 1940s. Each bead is topped by the finest quality swarovski crystals. They hang from lovely 1 inch copper kidney wires.

I LOVE these earrings. They go with everything... they are among my absolute favorites ~ in the last photo, I am wearing my own pair. :) All ear wires are brand new and fresh - and have never been worn by another person.

I came across these wonderful flowers in a quaint little antique shop - don't pass these by...

Vintage ivory flowers that remind me of molded white chocolate... a creamy white hue... They are in wonderful condition. I took time to gently clean them and bring them back to their original glory.

Okay, these are amazing... I never realized how diverse Lucite was until I came across these vintage beads. The pink beads have an iridescence that gives them amazing sparkle and glow. The dark chocolate teardrops almost look like a fine lacquered wood. They are so different, but compliment each other beautifully.

Initially, Katherina is an unwilling participant in the relationship, but Petruchio tempers her with various psychological torments - the "taming" - until she is an obedient bride. The sub-plot features a competition between the suitors of Katherina's less intractable sister, Bianca.

The play's apparent misogynistic elements have become the subject of considerable controversy, particularly among modern audiences and readers. It has nevertheless been adapted numerous times for stage, screen, opera, and musical theatre; perhaps the most famous adaptation being Cole Porter's Kiss Me, Kate.
