INSPIRATION:
This design is what my art teacher called a "happy little accident". The first wing ding was born when I flopped a round bead. I was mad and squished one side of the bead with tiny bbq mashers. The shape intrigued me so I squished the other side. Voila! A new design was born. This shape is so fun and funky it lends itself to so many design ideas!

WHAT TO MAKE?

Rainbow Ruffle Ribbon Heart- Sunny Skies

Bright sky blue is twisted with sunny orange and encased in a generous layer of sparkling clear. On the sides ribbons of orange, yellow and pale blue ruffle. At the center a bubbly raked heart in warm yellow is freckled with sky blue spots.

STATS:
Heart is 28mm from ruffly top to bottom and was made on a 3/32 mandrel.

INSPIRATION:
I have always loved hearts for about as long as I can remember. I also love ribbony filligrana glass rods. I combined my love for both into this fantastic visually pleasing focal. The reflection of transparent glasses with opaque give it tons of depth and appeal :) It's even more beautiful in person!

Space Strider

Out of this world hot orange based lentils are decorated with green spots and pools of layered violets. Spacers of pale green are freckled with spots of hot orange and violet.

STATS:
Lentils are 16mm and spacers are 6mm. Both were made on a 1/16th mandrel.

White Daisies

One of my favorite flowers are happy little white daisies honoring the simplicity of nature. A set of 5 black lentils are decorated with white creased petal daisies and yellow centers. The back design is smooth yellow freckles for comfort while wearing.

Sunshine Zinger Florbitals

Mesmerizing swirls of red go round and round with freckles of yellow forming a bubbly hollow. Around the center a flower in streaky coral with blushes of pink finish of this fantastic pair. Transparent red seed beads make a loop connecting to a dizzying yellow swirled disc. Earrings are knotted with tangerine orange cord and finished up with sterling silver dotty ball headpins.

STATS:
Florbitals are aprox. 22mm across. Discs are 8mm. Earrings dangle 2 3/4" from disc top to florbital bottom.

INSPIRATION:
My bead-inside-a-bead-hollows are some of my most impressive beads. I like to push designs to see just how far I can make them go. I decided to take the normal hollow bead and give it a new twist by wrapping a flower around the center. The name "florbital" comes from "flower"(the flower that runs around the center) and "orbital"(a round bubble shape. These are probably one of the most SPECTACULAR earrings I have made and this will be the ONLY ones due to their difficulty in sizing a pair.

Naturally Neutral Keychain

Natural hemp colored cord makes up the base of the macramed keychain. Black and Ivory seed beads decorate the base followed by a "window" round bead accented with neutral transparent brown, ivory and black. Bottom fringe is is neutral tan, black and ivory in matte and shiny beads.

Yellow base is accented with transparent light Lime triangle dots. Golden Yellow bumpy dots decorate the surface.
