I love making necklaces that are asymetric but somehow exhibit a cohesive design; I hope this necklace does that. The large centerpiece is one of my handmade porcelain pendants, glazed in two high-fired glazes. This pendant uses my new hole design element, leaving the entire front of the pendant&#39;s design visible, with no interruption by holes. I constructed it on a full-sized manequin, insuring that the beads lay gracefully around the neck. Handmade Bulgarian ceramic beads, yellow turquoise, fancy jasper leaf beads, a single stunning lampwork bead from an American artist, Oregon jasper, yellow jade, and seed beads are all combined to create a statement piece.
