I have had more fun creating this line of bags. I will keep them in my shop as they are so pretty, functional, changeable, seasonal, and I almost forgot to say beautiful.

I borrowed the main idea from a pattern, using buttons to hold beautiful covers that can be purchased separately from my store . These reversible covers are held on the main bag by their buttons. The covers hold onto the buttons with individually sewn pieces of elastic. Once the main bag is purchased, the sky is the limit on changing the look of your bag, allowing you to take it from daywear to night. From season to season.

The Handbag Exterior: Cotton canvas or cotton duck cloth fabric is used, for strength and durability. The entire cover and handles are made of one of these two fabrics. The outside of the bag and the double handles are lined with fusible fleece making them soft, sturdy and comfortable against your body and on your shoulder. I usually use eight vintage buttons on every bag, the buttons will be described in the title. The top of the bag is top stitched. The bags close with either velcro or a magnetic clasp.
In this case it is velcro.

The Handbag Interior: The top part of the interior is of the same fabric as the outside giving the whole bag a continuous line. There is a zippered pocket installed in one side wall of the upper part of each bag. The lower part of the interior and the inside of the zippered pocket are lined with a lighter weight cotton fabric in a coordinating and complimentary color and or pattern to the outside fabric. The interior fabric is fully interfaced with fusible poly/cotton interfacing.

The Handbag Covers : They are as varied in fabrics and patterns as my stash allows.

This purchase is for one handbag and one reversible cover, of your choice. If you don't want a cover , but do want a bag let me know and I will make you a listing. The cost will be 10 dollars less than this listing.
If you would like a bag , and don't see a cover that interests you, let me know and I will try to create one with fabrics I have , or for a little bit more , purchase fabrics of your choice to make covers of. I can also use your fabrics if you prefer.

These bags are large , but not quite tote size. 10.5" tall 15" wide and 4" deep without the handle. With the handle the overall height is approximately 20"

The original Christie wiggles bag was made for the mother of my daughters best friend, she had to have that wiggly fabric, and she wiggled when she said it. So I wiggled it right up for her.

This bag is made of an appliqued linen fabric in a bright beautiful shade of turquoise,
It is covered in squiggles of yarn in colors from white on up to the same shade of turquoise.

I have enough of both of these fabrics to make one more bag.

It is lined with a wild retro style fabric in white turquoise and greens. It also has a slip pocket and a zippered pocket.

This headband is made of pretty summery pastel blue cotton with different moth types all over it .

Can be worn open as a bandana style hair covering , closed as a headband , or as a hat band.

These Bags were made as a custom order that I got all wrong. They were SUPPOSED to be 16 inches around. I made them 16 inches wide. My mistake is to your advantage.

The bags are made from re purposed fabrics.

The cover fabric is from a matelasse bedspread. The colors are a creamy buttery off white base and the subtle pattern is white.

Inside, the bag is lined top and bottom with a quilted fabric of off white pick stitch. The inside walls are finished in either beige linen or beige fleece. The dimensions are 6 inches tall and 16 inches across.

This bag closes with a 20 inch zipper on the side of the bag.

This pillow is made of linen with tiny stitching to imitate a broken heart on one side. It has tassles and an antique glass button for decoration.

The other side of the pillow is also linen, but has a lined pocket to keep your love letters in. The lining is made of a fine cotton fabric with the depiction of a victorian man and woman in a boat, she carrying an umbrella. The pillow is stuffed and sewn closed.

There is a matching headband of the cotton couple in a boat to go along with this listing.

My daughter named these pillows and I think she hit the nail on the head. Now everybody in a line and DO the Hussle.

This stuffed pillow is made from designer fabric. It is a rather thick fabric with a lot of depth and a soft hand.
The pattern is of overlapping flowers giving it a wide range of hues within the colors of Yellow Orange and Pink.

The trim is a frilly confetti style loop fringe that I think sets the pillow off just right.

I have more of the same in different sizes if you want a set or a few. I even have some more of the fabric , if you want to dream something else up.

This slipcover is of a light grey colored designer fabric, possibly silk. I got it from a remnant stack , so I am unsure of its content. The trim has a black scalloped edge.
There is a zipper in it , in order to install a pillow form ( not included , see following comments.)

These are slipcovers,I can make you a pillow form to insert into the pillow case for an additional 10 dollars. It is an unusually large size , so it is higher than most of my other pillow forms.

Measurements are 32 long by 15 wide.

Lets talk shipping... If I ship to the West coast ,it costs more than East Coast shipping , therefore I ask more for shipping than I would if I was able to give you an individual cost for shipping. I fell in love with this guy ( it is a he isn't it? I don't know how to tell) as soon as I saw these panels ... just had to have them, now I am offering the pillow covers for you to enjoy him , now that I decided what he needed to be made into.

This pillow cover with smooth cotton transfer of a beautifully colored parrot is held closed , and pillow is inserted ,through an envelope closure on the other side in a vintage barkcloth in coordinating colors. This can also be used as the main pillow front.

The barkcloth was once a set of curtains and are in grey , black, and salmon, with a touch of yellow/green , on a cream background , making it a nice mix with the parrot on the front. If you would like, I can also add a vintage button to the closure.

Pillow forms can be purchased at most department, or crafts stores for less than I could ship them.

These are larger sized 26x26 inch slip covers.

There is a matching pansy print in my store as well. It has the same vintage barkcloth , making them a set if both are used together. If you purchase both of the slipcovers ,I will reduce the total price by 5.00.
