This style can work with both Renaissance and Victorian costumes, and since it's short, it doesn't weigh you down. Full length cloaks tend to weigh a lot from the yards of material and keep heat close to your body—good for winter, but often they're too much for spring or fall when most faires take place. This short style won't keep the heat in over layers of costuming.

One of the more unusual colors of cloaks, I fell in love with this soft, burnt orange velveteen. This cloak is great for University of Texas students, alumni, or Longhorn fans!

The front of the cloak is the shortest point, allowing easy use of your hands. Extra fabric at the sides allows for easier movements, so you don’t need to keep pushing fabric out of the way to move your arms around. The cloak tapers down in the back to the longest point. The front features a Renaissance style pewter clasp.

One size will fit most. Outside is cotton velveteen, lining is high quality satin. Machine wash delicate or handwash, tumble in dryer on lowest heat setting or hang dry. Please, please, please do not bleach!

Born on his father's ship, the Gilded Monkey, Eric M. Silvergill, son of Carl the Blackheart, learned all the tricks of piracy at a very early age. He was wielding a cutlass better than any other hand on the Monkey by the age of five, became an expert marksman by the age of seven, and was bestowed the honor of captaining his own vessel, the Crimson Rose, at the age of fourteen. He's been terrorizing the open sea ever since.
