This note card set conjures up thoughts of Old Hollywood.

I see Elizabeth Taylor writing a forbidden love letter to Richard Burton. Tucked away in her travel luggage, she would pull out her note card box and pen a note to her one True Love while traveling or on location in her dressing room. We can only imagine what was said between two of the greatest lovers of the 20th century.

The note box is completely crafted by hand from chipboard and heavy card stock. The interior is lined in a beautiful crimson red linen textured card stock and the outer frame of the box is made from linen textured black card stock and covered with beautiful velvet flocked paper in a vine and flower motif. The lid of the box is finished off with braided trim and a hook and loop and button closure. Dimensions- 6" X 4.5" X 2".

Inside the box you will find 12 beautiful note cards. 6 of the cards are in a full velvet motif and the remaining 6 are accented with crimson red card stock and trimmed with black velvet ribbon. Each 4.25 x 5.5 inch note card comes with a lined envelope.

So I own a lot of stamps.

A lot.

My husband and I were walking through the local craft store and passed the rubber stamp shelves and I looked at it and said "I want that". So my dude made me one like it.

Built from grade A lumber, these stamp shelves are very durable. There are a total of 13 shelves, 3 shelves measuring 5-7/16" high, 4 shelves measuring 3-7/8" high and 6 shelves measuring 2-7/8" high. There is plenty of room for your large and smaller stamps, as well as your stamp sets. I got over 100 stamps single layered of varying sizes on my stamp holder. I even took advantage of the top of the unit and put some of my odd shaped stamps there.

OVERALL UNIT SIZE: 56.5" long x 37" wide by 4" deep- $200.00

There are also two smaller units available.

UNIT TWO- $180.00
56.5" long by 24" wide x 4" deep. This unit has 3 shelves measuring 5-7/16" and 4 shelves measuring 3-7/8" and 6 shelves measuring 2-7/8". It should hold about 75-90 stamps, depending on stamp size and single layering.

UNIT THREE- $120.00
36" long x 24" wide x 4" deep. This unit has 3 shelves at 5-7/16", and 4 shelves at 3-7/8". It should hold about 50-60 stamps, depending on stamp size and single layering.

The unit is framed out in pretty vine trim. The entire unit will come natural or you can have it painted white or a oak stain for an additional $40.00

Butterflies and Lace Notecards

These pretty notecards were handstamped in bright, pretty colors and then adorned with three hand punched butterflies in black. The wings pop up off of the card, adding dimension. Each notecard also has three coordinating jewels at the bottom. The card opens from the top.

Here's my first go at using chalks and shading. I was actually scared to even try the technique- but I'm really happy with how it turned out.

Each flower is chalked in hues of red, peach and yellow and centerd with a sparkly red jewel and sealed to prevent smudging. Textured irridescent paints border the jewels.

Happy birthday is stamped on the front. The card is blank on the inside.
