This "larger",1¼ inch square wooden pendant is not made up of a scrabble tile and requires additional work:
The wooden blank must be sanded before the back and sides are painted. Once the paint is dry it is sealed with varnish. The face of the pendant is resin-faced, rather than glazed, which adds a true-glass-like shine.
A larger, sterling silver plated bail is affixed to the back to accommodate both large and smaller chains.

The main flowers are: one is deep-rust-red and the other main flower is lime green and white with deep green leaves. So dramatic and bold they look as though they could jump of the fabric. The background fabric consists of several shades and prints of cotton fabric cut and pieced together, giving a variety of subtle tones of ecru, off white and light beige. Once that was achieved, doilies and lace, along with some of grandma's vintage buttons were applied to supply interest.

Although all of the materials used are washable, you may choose to have this item dry cleaned. If so, ask the Cleaner if it would be acceptable.

This 5 x 5 inch, scented-with-lavender sachet pillow is one of a kind. It is decorated with a vintage button, handmade yo-yo, and a gathering of faux pearls. There is an opening in the back to easily remove the pouch that holds fiber-fill and lavender buds. To remove the stuffing from the insert it will be necessary to separate a small amount of loosely stitch thread. I have left long strands of thread to decipher where to separate. Replace scent and whip stitch of pin the opening.

An exceptional price for the quality of the time-consuming work. I hand-sand each light-weight wood base…paint the base…apply a coat of varnish to the painted areas…select a paper, or a copy of one of my original drawings, and attach it to base, then I “face” the pendant with resin, giving the piece a glass-like shine. Delicate, Dainty and Dramatic. Pink Roses, Green Leaves, Ecru background, lace and ruffles. An adorable 16 inch, pillow cover. This handmade delight in a one of a kind, as no two would be exactly alike, if I were to make another.
I have doubled all material on this pillow case. I have also taken the pains to hand-sew bias tape to the inside in order to cover the raw edges....a little bit overkill, bit it does look nice...especially if it is to be given as a gift.

Dry clean is recommended.
