I am a music student in Philadelphia. Sometimes it is hard to get away from the cement, smoke, and urban stress.

I have found a hidden sanctuary behind my apartment, just a patch of grass surrounded by willow trees and summer's waning flowers. A beautiful scene to hand-knit this cozy beret.

And so I dedicate this hat to my newfound secret garden. It encompasses all the colors of a beautiful sunset, without the sillouettes of factories or sky-high office buildings. I hope it gives you a touch of nature's warmth, wherever you may be.

(Hand-knit in a soft wool blend of rich purples, oranges, and everything in-between. Extra slouchy to fit a LOT of hair, if you feel like tucking it in. Should fit most adult heads.)

For those of us with smaller heads or straight hair who can't handle excessive slouch. I envy those girls with wild curls tucked neatly inside a huge beast of a slouch, but what can I say? I just can't rock it like that.

This is a cute alternative. Knit freely without a pattern, so you know it's one-of-a-kind.

The moss stitch has a very interesting texture in soft light green Vanna's Choice acrylic, so its machine washable!

Fits most adult heads.

I created this while endeavoring to read "Pride, Prejudice, and Zombies" with one of my friends. Like the parody, this scarf/shawl is a beautiful piece of art with a modern twist. You can wear it like an indie urbanite scarf, or like Jane Austen, wrapped quaintly around your shoulders.

This has quickly become one of my favorite designs. It goes with everything, is incredibly comfortable, and makes a great gift.

Inspired by the Sufjan Stevens song, and the bible verse, this is a lovely, leavely hand-knit hat in 100% cotton yarn. Looks like a canopy on your cranium. :)

This is the pattern, not an actual hat. But, if you would like a hat, that could be arranged as well.

I can knit one of these up in an evening, but that might just be because I know the pattern so well. All you need is 200 yards worsted weight yarn, size 8 circulars, a tapestry needle, a stitch marker, and some knitting experience.

Inspired by Japanese flora, this bag was hand-knit with the finest 100% merino wool, then felted for incredible thickness. The embroidered green branch blooms with little recycled buttons taken from an old (and quite hideous) pantsuit set.

The lovely grey heather is ever-so-slightly darker than the whited-out colors depict.

12" by 8" with a rounded bottom that gives about 4" of width, snap closure.
