This bracelet is a Japanese maille variant. I used a mix of 14 gauge and 16 gauge sterling silver rings to create this bold, wide, and heavy piece. It is a substantial bracelet and is worn much like a cuff. This bracelet measures approximately 8.5 inches in length by just over 1 inch wide (21.5cm x 28mm) and is finished with a sterling silver Bali style S-clasp.

I began making ear pins earlier this year after buying some 18 gauge sterling silver wire and having an epiphany. Well, maybe not an epiphany but a fun idea.

My ear pins are made to be used in your first or second ear piercing. The twisted side follows the outer curve of your ear while the back fits snugly up against the inside of the ear, running parallel. Each ear pin remains flexible enough for the wearer to customize to her ear. I wear mine almost every day for an extra bit of "bling".

Models Amy and Sharone are wearing their own The Alchemist's Star earpins as examples. All earpins listed have never been worn.

My Ear 16 is made with 18 gauge sterling silver wire and measures 35mm by 5mm. If you've never worn 18 gauge earwires, please be advised they are thicker than standard 20- 24 gauge earwires and may cause slight discomfort for some.

This lovely pendant is an original design that I created after a friend encouraged me to make a pair of chandelier-style earrings. I've expanded on that weave and added some weight to it with thicker jump rings to create this pendant. It will not lose its' shape.

This pendant is made with rose gold fill and sterling silver jump rings in a variety of sizes and gauges. It measures approximately 1 inch in diameter and hangs from a simple bail. A sterling silver box chain or snake chain necklace comes with this pendant. Available chain lengths include 16, 18, 20 or 24 inches. ***Gold Filled metal is made by permanently bonding a layer of 14kt Gold to an alloy/base metal core. The only thing that comes in contact with your skin is 14kt Gold. You should not confuse this process with gold plating because Gold Filled has 100 times the amount of 14kt Gold as plating. It is strong, durable, and resistant to tarnish. It will not flake off. Many antique pieces, especially watches, are made from 14kt Gold Filled metal. In order to carry the label “Gold Filled”, it must be at least 1/20th (by weight) 14kt gold. The result is a metal that looks and wears like 14kt gold but is much more affordable.

I've finally gotten to use my Liver of Sulfur (LOS) and I'm hooked. I love the beautiful patina LOS brings out in sterling silver jewelry. Depending on the length of time spent in LOS, the color can be a light yellow, to pink, red, blue, gray, and black. Once the desired oxidation level is achieved, each piece is tumbled again and buffed to create a multi-toned effect.

This beautifully simple bracelet is made with 16 gauge sterling silver jump rings, woven in a Byzantine weave. It measures 8 inches in length and is finished with a sterling silver toggle clasp. I dipped this piece in LOS several times to create a dark blue/gray color. The multiple tones are quite striking and unique.

This piece can be shortened upon request.

This bracelet is an interesting mix of a 16 gauge sterling silver Byzantine weave and 14 gauge square shaped connector rings. It's also a perfect example of what to do when you've only got a few square rings leftover from another project.

This bracelet measures 7 1/2 inches (19.5cm) in length and the large connector rings measure just under 1/2 inch (11mm) wide. A handmade hook clasp in sterling silver completes this piece.

This bracelet is the perfect example of what happens when you've only got a few sterling silver 14 gauge 7.5mm and 5mm rings left. It's a variation of the Japanese 12 in 2 weave, and similar to my "Anyone for Geometry" bracelet, only much smaller. This piece measures approximately 8 inches long and 1 inch wide. A handmade sterling silver S-clasp finishes this piece.

My ear pins are made to be used in your first or second ear piercing. The twisted side follows the outer curve of your ear while the back fits snugly up against the inside of the ear, running parallel. Each ear pin remains flexible enough for the wearer to customize to her ear. I wear mine almost every day for an extra bit of "bling".

The Alchemist's Star is pleased to offer handmade nose rings in sterling silver and 14k yellow gold fill. TAS nose rings come in 22, 20, and 18 gauges. Custom gauges are available, simply drop me a line to inquire about pricing.

All TAS nose rings are "L" shaped which allows them to slide out easily, lessening the possibility of injury should they accidentally catch on a towel, clothing, etc. I began making "L" shaped nose rings after a particularly painful experience with a towel and a nose screw. Not pretty at all...

Each TAS nose ring is tumbled upon completion for 48 hours, ensuring proper work hardening and smooth ends. Nose rings are cleaned and disinfected after being photographed before being packaged in a clear plastic zip bag. Due to hygiene issues, nose rings may not be returned.

This one of a kind bracelet is made with a pink colored Kim Miles' Goddess lampwork bead on sterling silver wire. A Double Spiral 4 in 1 weave extends out on either side in 16 gauge sterling silver. Goddess bead measures 22 x 14 millimeters and has a little cubic zirconia in Her belly button. Double Spiral weave is 9mm wide. A sterling silver S-clasp finishes this one of a kind 8 inch (20.32cm) bracelet.

This one of a kind necklace centers around a beautiful sterling silver goddess holding a rainbow moonstone cabochon. The goddess pendant measures 46mm long and 14mm wide. The rainbow moonstone cabochon is 9mm in diameter.

Just above the sterling silver goddess is a web of sterling silver Byzantine with Roses woven in 18 gauge. The full drop length of the Byzantine web and the goddess pendant is about 83mm.

The rest of the necklace continues with the 18 gauge sterling silver Byzantine with Roses weave, finishing with a simple sterling silver lobster clasp. This necklace measures approximately 17 inches (43cm) in length.

This lovely pendant is an original design that I created after a friend encouraged me to make a pair of chandelier-style earrings. I've expanded on that weave and added some weight to it with thicker jump rings to create this pendant. It will not lose its' shape.

This pendant is made with sterling silver jump rings in a variety of sizes and gauges. It measures approximately 1 inch in diameter and hangs from a simple bail. A sterling silver box chain or snake chain necklace comes with this pendant. Available chain lengths include 16, 18, 20 or 24 inches. When I saw this beautiful handmade lampwork bead on Kim Miles' site, I knew I had to have it. Thanks to Kim for her incredible work. Check out more Kim Miles lampwork at www.kimmiles.com.

This necklace is a tribute to breast cancer survivors everywhere. My own family has been affected by breast cancer on more than one occasion in the past so I consider this cause especially dear to me. This piece is centered around a lampwork bead woman's body in a peachy-pink color. Both of her breasts have been replaced with beautiful pink and white flowers, a cubic zirconia nestled in the center of each. This woman is a survivor.

This lovely bead is strung on sterling silver wire and nestled between 18 gauge sterling silver woven in a Byzantine weave. A sterling silver chain with spring clasp finishes this 16 inch (40cm) one of a kind necklace.

Survivor bead measures 32mm by 14mm.

All TAS nose rings are "L" shaped which allows them to slide out easily, lessening the possibility of injury should they accidentally catch on a towel, clothing, etc. I began making "L" shaped nose rings after a particularly painful experience with a towel and a nose screw. Not pretty at all...

***Gold Filled metal is made by permanently bonding a layer of 14kt Gold to an alloy/base metal core. The only thing that comes in contact with your skin is 14kt Gold. You should not confuse this process with gold plating because Gold Filled has 100 times the amount of 14kt Gold as plating. It is strong, durable, and resistant to tarnish. It will not flake off. Many antique pieces, especially watches, are made from 14kt Gold Filled metal. In order to carry the label “Gold Filled”, it must be at least 1/20th (by weight) 14kt gold. The result is a metal that looks and wears like 14kt gold but is much more affordable.
