from wiki: The Fernsehturm (German for "television tower") is a television tower in the city centre of Berlin, Germany. Close to Alexanderplatz and part of the World Federation of Great Towers (WFGT), the tower was constructed between 1965 and 1969 by the former German Democratic Republic (GDR) administration who intended it as a symbol of Berlin, which it remains today, as it is easily visible throughout the central and some suburban districts of Berlin.

Metlox Poppytrail Sculptured Daisy Salt and Pepper Shaker

A Pair of Metlox Potteries, Poppytrail Division, Salt and Pepper Shakers in the Sculptured Daisy Pattern, which was introduced by Metlox Potteries in 1964. Each of the Shakers is 2-1/2 inches in diameter by 2-3/8 inches tall. They have a faint basketweave pattern under the daisies.

These are marked Metlox on the original rubber plugs on the bottoms.

Both of these shakers are in excellent condition with no cracks or crazing. There is one very small chip on one of the daisies that is visible in one of the photos I have taken. Whenever I try to look for the chip, it always takes a bit to find it, so that's a good sign!

the Hotel Paisano was built by Charles Bassett of El Paso and opened in June 1930. the Paisano was for the most part a cattleman's hotel for its first 40 years. ranchers from all over the area had business meetings here and bought and sold their herds from the lobby of the hotel. the railroad depot was two blocks away so many rail travelers stopped in for a night in their travels between California and San Antonio. in 1955 Warner Brothers chose Marfa as the location for the filming of the epic movie Giant. in June of that year the cast and crew including James Dean, Elizabeth Taylor and Rock Hudson made the hotel their headquarters.

i uncovered a fabulous haul of 8 mint vintage neckties that i've been saving for years. i wanted to make something from them, but i've decided to sell them on etsy instead!

the tie looks a bit long on the model. model is 5 feet 7 inches tall, so this tie would be suited for someone who is taller.

this psychedelic dress looks painted! it's in excellent vintage condition! plus, it's totally comfortable!

it was meticulously handmade but does not come with a tag. it looks to fit a US size 6 women's. it could also be tailored to fit you perfectly if you wear a small. it's such a great shape for us ladies with the empire waist and a-line skirt! get it now before it's gone! use measurements below to see if it will fit you.

Length (front - from neck down): 40.5" (inches)
Armpit to armpit: 16" (inches)
Waist: just over 13" - it has an empire waist
Hips: 20" - this is an a-line shape and has a nice bell skirt to the dress with free hips
