I love using hand crafted Tibetan capped beads in my designs. They have my favorite stones, have an organic feel, and the carved sterling silver caps feature incredibly fine craftsmanship.

Here, I combined silver capped (caps have a nice carved design) naga shell beads (16x15mm) with tiny turquoise and sterling spacer beads, wrapped them in wire and suspended from elegant sterling earwires.

The necklace was inspired by the 40x40mm hand painted pendant made from an ancient pottery shard dating back to the Chinese Ming dynasty (could be anywhere from 100 to 300 years old), set in a silver plated frame and featuring a blue flower blossom.

I have paired the pendant with chunky tangerine coral chips, and a couple of green aventurine beads. Two vintage tangerine glass beads and sterling silver toggle clasp complete the piece.
