Primitive Folk Art Christmas Santa Head Make Do

Here we have something new for the 2009 Christmas holidays! This Santa make do is made with my own original pattern. He is made from stained osnaburg fabric with a needlesculpted nose. His eyes are hand stitched with floss.

His stocking cap is made from a old quilt which has been stained for that old worn look. The trim on the cap is the cotton batting that was in the quilt. He has a big rusty bell on the end of his cap.

Santa's beard and hair are from sheeps wool that has been needlefelted onto his face. I've attached him to a old wooden textile bobbin.

This Santa measures 12" tall by 5" wide. I dusted him with a bit of german glass glitter. He sure does sparkle!

Here we have a something new for the 2009 Christmas holidays! This snowman make do is made with my own original pattern. He is made with stained and painted muslin for his head. His eyes and mouth is handstitched with black floss. He has a carrot nose made from painted and stained cotton batting.

His top hat is made from painted and stained osnaburg fabric. I've added a bit of dried sweet annie and a few burgundy pip berries.

To keep Mr. Snowman warm, he has a scarf made out of homespun fabric, with a rusty snowflake attached.

This snowman measures 6" tall by 4" wide. I dusted this snowman generously with german glass glitter. He sure does sparkle!

Here we have a cute little napping kitty pincushion made with my own original pattern. The kitty is made from a calico print that has been stained to look aged. His tail has been needle sculpted along with his facial features. He has quilters thread for whiskers. He has a little tiny ball of yarn in front of him.

The cushion is made from stained osnaburg fabric which is wrapped with perle cotton floss. The pin cushion itself measures 4" wide. The kitty is permanently attached. Here we have a sweet crow doll all ready for Halloween! She is made from painted and stained muslin. She has a witch hat which is made from muslin as well. She is wearing a cotton calico dress with black tinsel garland for the trim around her neck. She has a couple of rusty bells attached to the front of her dress. She has black floss french knot eyes.

She is carrying a little goodie bag which is made from painted and stained osnaburg. It has a bit of dried sweet annie in it. On the front of her bag is a little pumpkin applique made from a old quilt.

This crow doll measures 20" tall by 6" wide and will come with a rusty wire hanger on the back. She also may be displayed sitting down.

Here we have one of a kind Primitive Halloween Pumpkin Crow Make Do made with my own original pattern! It measures 8" wide by 10" tall. The Pumpkin is made from stained and painted muslin. Here we have one of a kind Halloween Pumpkin Gourd ornies made with my own original pattern! You get 3 of them! They measure 3" wide by 2" tall. And 3 1/2" tall with the stem. They are made out of grungy stained osnaburg fabric. Their stems are each different. They are made out of muslin which I have stuffed with fiberfill.

Wouldn't these look great tucked in among your other primitive halloween decor!

Primitive Napping Kitty Cat Pincushion

Here we have a cute little napping kitty pincushion made with my own original pattern. The kitty is made from a calico print that has been stained to look aged. His tail has been needle sculpted along with his facial features. He has quilters thread for whiskers. He has a little tiny ball of yarn in front of him.

You won't get the pincushion pictured, but one made exactly the same way with the same fabric.

The cushion is made from stained osnaburg fabric which is wrapped with perle cotton floss. The pin cushion itself measures 4" wide. The kitty is permanently attached. The pincushion and kitty together measure 2" tall by 4" wide. This pincushion will come to you signed and dated by me on the bottom.
