Oh how I love this fabric - when I run out of it I will surely die. Slinky stretch spandex print with a black poly hem, applique spandex flower in a coordinating black/white fabric and a turquoise gem in the center. Shoulders decorated with eyelash fringe and beads, the neckline has soft ruffled black dot net.

This is the love of my life!

The top half of this wonderful cincher/corset top is made from a yellow cotton knit with a black mesh oval dot overlay, the upper back is a black poly/cotton rib knit.

The corset/cincher portion; front panel is a cotton plaid and lots and lots of chains! The side panels are a flocked organza with spiders, skulls, crosses/daggers (can't decide which) and other spooky shapes. Every time I look at it I see more! This fabric is on top of a poly green satin. The back has a stretchy gunmetal grey textured polyester. I laced up the back with a heavy silver metallic elastic cord, which adjusts with a toggle. Cincher area does have Featherlite boning in four seams.

I've had a lot of requests for more waist cinchers in this style, so expect to see more!

Waist cincher! Pretty waist cincher made from the most awesome print fabric ever: red and navy blue diamonds - black spiders on the navy diamonds and all diamonds surrounded by barbed wire! It kind of looks like a really evil scary fence. The back has a stretchy gunmetal grey textured polyester.

I added all kinds of fun things to the front, plus the front panel has a heavy interfacing to retain the shape and reinforce the d rings, and laces up the back with a wide red ribbon.

This is an upcycled 80's wedding dress. It used to be a scary 80's puffed sleeve sequined nightmare!!! Sorry, the awesome peacock fan is not included.

This is how I transformed it:

1) Used different dyes to give it an antiqued look - the sleeves and skirt took on a pretty black/brown hue not evident in the photos!
2) Added black/silvery platinum color lace to the neck, sleeve edges and waist.
3) Put an overlay of patterned black nylon mesh over bodice front and back.
4) Added a layer of black polyester chiffon with a rolled hem to the skirt.
5) Lightly dyed the bow in back (80's style "butt bow") to create a silvery color.

This is a tiny dress. To give you an idea of the sizing, Dixie Lux's measurements are:

Bust: 33" (84cm)
Waist: 24" (61cm)
Hip: 35" (89cm)
Height: 5'6" (163cm)

Flat garment measurements:

Armpit to armpit: 15.5"
Waist flat: 13"
Hip flat: free
Length: 67.5" (166cm)

Care: Dry clean ONLY!!

The hip area is pretty free, and I recommend getting a petticoat - Dixie did NOT wear one in the shoot. Also, the bodice is unlined. However, you could probably go up to a 34 A/B in the bust.

I'm very sad that this top does not fit me! I made it a tad too small for my chest, alas. For you, though, it's going to fit like a glove.

The front chest area is made from an overlapping soft cotton knit edged in elastic for a snug fit, the upper back has the coolest stretchy black mesh web fabric! The bottom part is made from a cotton fabric printed with zippers, and is lined in a pongee fabric. The back laces up with red ribbon, has an adjustable toggle and has little zipper pulls at the end.

Don't blame me when you get wolf whistles.

Three piece dress will make you the belle of the ball, or goth princess, or just plain the center of attention.

The dress is made from a stretchy lycra/spandex, has black bows and black aluminum chain at the chest. The arm and neck holes are edged with black stretch lace. The skirt part of the dress was cut asymmetrically and is shorter in the front. Skirt is ruched on either side below the waist at the back, and adorned with black bows.

The underskirt is a semi-stiff two layer tulle decorated with a sprinkling of rhinestones.

The waist cincher was made from a beautiful Jacquard turquoise fabric, and laces up the back with black ribbon.

This dress is amazing. I absolutely adore it! Made from various materials: nylon mesh, printed cotton, stretch lace, hand decorated polyester ribbon with corset images, and a white petticoat-type underskirt from a brand new skirt restyled into this dress. Has corset type lacing in the back for an adjusted fit. The dress also has some stretch.

I modeled the dress for a project (I'm 5'2"), and I wore a hat and purse by fugsly.etsy.com, and armwarmers by Warning Label Clothing - beanbun.etsy.com. Jamie of Warning Label is also in the photo with me, modeling her own gear (she's on the right) and wearing one of my shirts.

HAUTEINDISCRETION The Goth Victorian Indian Recon Tank

Since the DiyScene Street Team's theme this month is UPCYCLED, I decided to use something I've been holding onto forever. I found this fantastic brand new shirt at a thrift store some time ago and could not bear to cut it...until now! It has an unusual pattern which reminds me of the following: Grecian, Victorian, Edwardian, Goth, Indian (see the meandering paisley pattern?). With such an unusual combination it took me a while to formulate a design.

So, I cut off the sleeves and part of the neck, and the lower half of the cotton shirt. I added a dark eggplant/inky purple net lace to the neckline, adorning the lace with a faux antique button that relates to the underlying shirt pattern. Next I added ruffly elastic to the armholes, and to the entire bottom (the lace is in the front and back), a pretty black floral stretch lace that also mirrors the design.

Sorry for the long explanation, but I really really REALLY love this top! And even though this is my Haute Indiscretion store, I couldn't resist putting it on a turquoise background - it just looked better. :D Item pinned back on mannequin.

Beautiful easy to wear unlined white/off white polyester charmeuse gown. It has elastic at the waist, and belt loops which holds a pretty pink ribbon for an adjustable silhouette. I added polyester ribbon flowers, as well as silk ribbon embroidery. The shoulders are adorned with faux pearl (plastic) chains and netting, which also makes up the train of the gown. I added two ribbons on the back for tying up the train, but if you prefer the train to hook in the back, I can do that as well.

This dress has a matching tiara, not used in the photo shoots. It is available in another listing.

Stunning yet extremely comfortable dress to wear in or out. Has the look of an elegant 1920's (80's even!) style flapper dress and the ease of a modern pull-over garment. Truth be told, it's going to be hard to part with this one.

The top is made from a stretchy cotton, the skirt part of the dress is made from a beautiful turquoise spandex with a slight sheen. The skirt seams have been machine embroidered, and most of the dress has fun tassel trim. Hip decorated with handmade fabric flower and antique inspired button. Included is the scarf, which is 141" (358.1cm) long, and made from a nylon mesh.

This dress has many possibilities. Eclectic wedding dress, prom, Spring dance, festivities, holidays, going out on the town, etc. Look like an angel, but behave like a devil is what I say. This dress will certainly give you the appearance of an angel. The rest is up to you :D

Tube top style dress (I can add straps upon request) with a vintage slip underskirt embellished with eyelet lace trim. The front of the tube has a layer of solid white cotton for modesty, the back is more sheer. The model wore a nude strapless bra with the dress. Layers of stretchy white net, off-white large hole net in different lengths (you can weave the longer lengths in to the rest of the dress or play with them like my model Maravilla did!) and has corset style lacing in the back, with pretty off-white net embroidered with a delicate floral motif.

Flower on front is a handmade removable pin..so you can put it anywhere. Need a headpiece, fascinator, veil? I can do that. :D

Inspired by the spirited ocean, this tank top has a fitted contoured electric - turquoise blue/printed black striped cotton waist with corset style lacing in the back. Gathered at the bust with elastic (so you don't have that uni-boob), under the pleated jabot secured with a fun red star button and hot pink ribbon bow. Upper fabric (front part is lined with a soft cotton for comfort and modesty) is a stretchy white fabric printed with black "blueprints" for a boat. Black ruffle elastic at the top helps keep everything in place :D. Item is pinned back on mannequin.
