This little bluebird has been stitched freehand on my sewing machine and then framed in a wooden hoop. The fabric is a modern design by designer Alexander Henry.

The hoop is 4 inches in diameter. The ribbon has been treated to prevent fraying.

This sweet little tray is the perfect catch-all for your dresser, office, or bathroom counter. Great for jewelry, paper clips, keys, loose change, ticket stubs... you name it!

I used an origial image from the sweetest vintage book titled 'Picture Book Of Poems'. The book was damaged, so I am giving it new life with this jewelry tray. I machine-stitched the paper for added interest and then aged the entire tray. The bow is secured so that it will not come untied and the ends of the ribbon are treated to prevent raveling.

4 inches by 4 inches. The ring is sold separately, the change is for lunch money, and I ate the candy. (-:

The perfect accessory for prom, a wedding, or any other special occasion! This unique little purse is just the right size for your cell phone, wallet, and a tube of lipstick.

This purse was created from a box that I covered with decorative paper. The outside has a coat of polyurethane for durability. The sparkly gold strap was hand-braided and the top of the box features a beautiful silk rose. The box is about 5 inches tall, 4 1/2 inches across the bottom.

I wanted the inside of the purse to be as pretty as the outside, so I lined it with a pretty pistachio green satin and trimmed it with buttons, ball fringe, and a wise owl charm. The inside also features a mirror for checking lipgloss!

This purse is a keepsake, use it long after the event to hold special heirlooms. I will happily personalize the bottom of the purse as seen here:

These shoes measure 4 inches from toe to heel (about 3 1/2 inches inside) and are best suited for a 0-3 month old baby, but may fit up to 6 months of age. This age is approximate, so please measure your babies foot before purchasing.

I used an old-fashioned rag-making technique to create this brooch. The torn linen gives it great texture. The button was handmade from polymer clay. It was aged and varnished for protection. The felt leaf was stitched freehand on my sewing machine.

This oufit is perfect for spring and summer, as it can be layered with a sweater and leggings for cool mornings. The Carter bodysuit has been fused and appliqued for durability. I have made the skirt a bit long so that even when your child outgrows the bodysuit, the skirt should still fit for a long time.

***Please note: The smaller flower will be appliqued on the smaller outfits, the larger on the larger outfits. Also, I have made more than one of this outfit so fabric placement may vary.

As always, all inside seams are finished with a serger. 100% cotton, wash in warm, tumble dry.

All of my appliques are fused and stitched for durabilitly. Some normal fraying may occur after washing~ it just adds to the charm!

What a fun accessory for back to school!

I used a brand-spanking new shirt from Old Navy to create this fun set. My son grew literally overnight, so he never got a chance to wear the shirt. Yup, the tags were still on it. If you have a teen son, you know where I'm coming from.

This fully-lined drawstring bag would make a great lunch tote, but would also be a nice bag for a paperback, an art project, toys... the possibilities are endless. Also included is a small pouch that was made from the sleeve of the shirt. This pouch is unlined and closes with hook and loop fastener, perfect for lunch money or an inhaler.

The drawstring tote measures about 8 1/2 inches by 13 inches.
The small pouch is approximately 4 inches by 6 inches.

Machine washable.

This purse was created from a box that I covered with decorative paper. The top and the bottom are done in contrasting papers that have a bit of shine, but I am having a hard time getting a good picture of them.

The outside of the purse has a coat of polyurethane for durability. The top of the box features a beautiful silk peony and the handle was made from a string of pearl beads. The box is about 6 inches tall, not including the flower. It is a bit larger than my other heirloom handbags.

I wanted the inside of the purse to be as pretty as the outside, so I lined it with a pretty light blue satin and a charm that reads 'happily ever after'. This is the perfect accessory for her 'something blue'. The inside also features a mirror for checking lipstick!

Deep, deep in the forest there sat a little house...

This little cottage was hand-painted, aged, and varnished. The scalloped roof was cut by hand from acrylic felt. The doors and windows were cut from salvaged pages of a book of sonnets by William Shakespeare. Within the door you will find the words "my home of love".

This house is about 8 inches tall by 5 inches wide.
