This lovely vase was a fun experiment in texture and vertical glaze movement.

This piece is porcelain and it was fired to over 2175 in my electric kiln after I threw it, carved it, bisque fired it and glazed it with a semi matte cream and the top has some butter highlights. There are some very subtle glaze variations that I will be developing in future work.

It measures approximately 5 1/4" tall x about 4 1/2" wide.

Wonderful as a petite vase for a tight bouquet of flowers, but also a great sculptural piece displayed empty.
It makes a great hostess gift
or housewarming, etc....

As with all of my work, there is no slip-casting or molds involved.
Each piece is handmade and therefore "one of a kind".
Even if duplicates are made, they are never EXACTLY alike,
as that would be impossible!

Sculptural Cream Toasted Marshmallow 3 Bowl Porcelain Server/ Flow Series

I have created this 3 bowl server in porcelain.
It is wheel-thrown, altered, assembled and then glazed.

The glaze is a semi matte cream that is almost white in parts and is almost toffee color in others.
It is fired to 2175 degrees in my electric kiln.

The 9 3/4" wide piece has beautifully incorporated sculptural handle to carry around 3 different dips, sauces, candies, nuts, condiments...the sky is the limit....

Sculptural in form and functional in nature this piece is a welcome addition in any home.....
It is food, microwave and dishwasher safe but of course I always recommend taking care with the more delicate parts, like the handle...

As with all of my work, there is no slip-casting or molds involved.
Each piece is handmade and therefore "one of a kind".
Even if duplicates are made, they are never EXACTLY alike,
as that would be impossible!

Glossy Mazarine Blue Porcelain Lidded Vessel or Jar/Flow Series

This piece is porcelain and it was fired to 2175 in my electric kiln.
I threw the pieces, altered and altered them.
I glazed it with a glossy mazarine blue glaze that pools in parts and stretched to translucent in others,enhancing the flow of the piece.

It measures approximately 10 1/4 " tall x about 6 1/2" wide.

Great for use as a cookie jar(the glaze is food safe!!) or to house other yummies.
Also wonderful just beautifully displayed in your home...

This elegant set is perfect for your entertaining or everyday needs.

The pieces are all made from porcelain and the shakers are thrown as closed forms. they are altered and carved to create fluid movement.
I have glazed the pieces with a semi matte to glossy beachy tan glaze that is almost off white in parts.
They are fired to 2170 degrees in an electric kiln.

The shakers are 4 1/4" and 3 1/8" tall.
They have rubber stoppers and are completely functional.

Soft Periwinkle Blue Porcelain Cup and Saucer / Curvature Series

This porcelain cup and saucer set is thrown on my wheel and later altered and carved.
It is glazed with a glossy soft periwinkle blue that is layered over a matte periwinkle blue. The glaze deepens where it pools and becomes translucent where it stretches over the form, enhancing the curves!

I have fired this set to 2175 degrees in my electric kiln.
It is completely functional and dishwasher safe.

The cup is 2 3/4" tall x 4 1/2"wide(excluding the handle).
The saucer is 5 1/2" wide by 1 1/4" at it's highest point.
It is microwave, food and dishwasher safe.
