Victorian lace at it's best! This glove would look great for a wedding, a formal event, or to spice up your Goth or Steampunk outfit!

As shown it is crocheted in light sport to fingering weight yarn and a size D (3.25mm) hook. This design is very open and should be easy to adjust size to fit most hands. The length across the bottom edge of the cuff on my glove is 7”.

My samples were crocheted in Knit Picks Gloss Sock (burgundy) and in DMC Senso Denim (blue) but I have also completed them in Bernat Cool Crochet and Royal Fashion Crochet, size 3. This pattern requires very little yardage and is a great one to use up odds and ends you may have.

Skills Required are basic crochet

US stitch guide
CH = Chain Stitch
SC = Single Crochet
DC = Double Crochet
TR = Treble or triple crochet
SL ST = Slip Stitch

Gauge:

21 sc = 4”
24 rows = 4”

Terms of use:
I retain the copyright to this pattern.
Skluv Scarf and Afghan Crochet Pattern

$4.00
******* This is the pattern only, not the finished item. *******
I enjoyed the skull motif so much that I decided to make another item using the design. As it turns out, you have 2 patterns in one with this (scarf and afghan square) plus the bonus of an alternate square! Three patterns in one! If you have not seen them, I also have a fingerless glove pattern using the same motif, my Skluv Gloves. I figured the two would make a great combo for personal use or a great and easy gift.

Once I had the scarf design down, I decided that making a square out of it would be a natural progression, so I did a sample one for you here to give you an idea of just how customizable this motif can be.

I did my sample scarf in Patons Brilliant, but it worked up nicely for me in Patons SWS worsted weight and in a size 3 cotton.

The sample squares were done with Red Heart Super Saver and a size H hook, but I think I am going to do a complete afghan for a family member and use some of my wool cone yarn to do so.

I did not include a gauge with this as it is unimportant to the final result, but you do want to be sure to use a hook-yarn combo to give you a fairly open look. This is a lace pattern and looks best when it is opened up.

Stitches used: US Terms
Chain Stitch
Single Crochet
Half Double Crochet
Double Crochet
Front/Back Post Double Crochet

The pattern will include my free pdf which is a photo tutorial on how to do the front/back post double crochet in case you need it.

Skullies Flowery Hat - Crochet pattern

$4.00
*********CROCHET PATTERN ONLY!*********

---------------------------------------------------
I was invited to participate in a hat project by a friend and this hat is the result of that effort. Skullie became the unsuspecting model when I realized I did not have an appropriate stand or person available to model the hat. I liked the look so well for the photos that I decided to go with it!

This is a very basic double crochet hat pattern. I have added a mesh bottom to my hat in order to eliminate bulk where I am adding the flowers and leaves. I also added a scalloped edge, but you can chose to change it as you wish. There are many other options you could elect to use after the crown section is completed.

The pattern includes the hat, 3 flowers, 3 centers for the flowers and four leaves. It is 7 pages and has photos of each item.

The flowers and leaves were created with various yarns and hook sizes depending on the look I wanted for them and the size of the yarn used. As with all of my patterns I have included links to tutorials and reference sites for any techniques you may not be familiar with.

From the pattern:

Size: 20" with insturctions for a 22" version. This pattern could be easily resized by changing the yarn and hook size as well.

Materials
Yarn = Hat – Worsted weight – I used Vanna’s Choice

Flowers and Leaves - Various worsted, novelty and sport weight yarns of your choice

Hook for hat = US “H” – 5 mm

Hook for flowers and leaves should match the yarn you use to get the look you want.

Tapestry needle to sew flowers and leaves to hat

Any beads or other embellishments you may want to add.

Stitches used: US terms
Slip Stitch
Single Crochet
Half Double Crochet
Double Crochet
Half Treble Crochet
Treble Crochet

Frankenbunny Glow in the Dark Crochet Pattern

$1.50
***** Pattern only, not finished item. *****

I was making a glow in the dark Frankenbunny the other day for my grandkids Halloween treat and the thought occurred to me that others might like this as well, so here is the pattern! (along with the original Frankenbunny 3D)

Note:
If you have already purchased the 3D Marshmallow Bunnies pattern you do not need this pattern. Just substitute the glow in the dark yarn for the regular yarn used in the Frankenbunny that is included in the package.

Frankenbunny is really easy to crochet, requiring only single crochet and half double crochet stitches to complete and since he is small, (a little over 6" tall) he takes very little yarn!

I used Red Heart Super Saver yarns for the original Frankenbunny and when I saw the new Bernat Glow in the Dark stuff at my local Michael's I knew I HAD to do him again in this yarn! I used all 6 available colors on my version but you could get by with fewer colors easily. You could also combine glow and non glow yarn. I actually thought of doing one in regular yarn but using the glow white for the area of his ear that is bitten off so only his "insides" would glow. Creepy!

He could be completed in other yarns to give you a much larger or smaller bunny, depending on what you want. His features are simple. He is modeled after the Marshmallow Peeps bunnies and as most of you know, they are not heavy on the facial features. If you wanted you could either paint or embroider the three black dots and he would look great, or you can go a bit farther and add other embellishments or embroidery features as you like. If you want him super creepy you could do things like add more areas of "stitches" or have an ear appear to be coming off by simply not attaching it to the head all the way across then sewing the two openings closed, or adding a white gussett area (explained in the pattern) to close. It's up to you! Have fun with this one!

Be sure to post photos and let me know where I can go see them. You may show up in my blog!

Pattern is 4 pages with photos and comes with my "How Do I" photo crochet tutorials on changing color, decreasing, and crocheting around the edges.
