Vintage Bloomcraft Magic Carpet Psychadelic fabric multicolored

This is a bolt of fabric a friend acquired for me at an auction a few years back. I am now selling it by the yard. This is such a great fabric, but a little goes a long way and it's very bright. The bolt originally had 33 yards on it. I figure I've used 10 maximum. I estimate that there are at least 20 or more yards left for you good folks to enjoy!

The pattern is called Magic Carpet and the color is 509 Siamese from Bloomcraft. I would guess this fabric to about 35 years old. It is decor weight cotton with a lovely soft feel and a tight weave. It has been treated with Zepel stainfighter. It sews and washes quite beautifully. I have made bags, aprons, curtains, and pillows from this fabric. I also use it as trim for a little color (see my other items for examples).

54 inches wide, with a multidirectional (Moroccan inspired) pattern and large repeat. You'll find all sorts of interesting shapes in this fabric: paisleys, circles, arches, scrolls, mandalas...

This is great vintage find and truly representative of the era.

Price is per yard, multiple yards to be cut in running lengths.

Tibetan Nepal Style Wool Jacket - Men's L or Women's XL

This is an awesome Nepalese/Tibetan style jacket. I believe the outer is made from all or partial yak wool since some of the fibers are longer than regular wool.

It is a cream color with red and blue geometric embroidery. There are 3 button (brass lotus-stamped) closures, one at hip, one at shoulder, and one at the neck since it wraps around. It is lined in red calico cotton.

I think it most likely that this jacket was made in Nepal, possibly for tourist trade, probably handmade.

There are some irregularities in the weave of the wool, as well as some minor snagging and discoloration. The overall condition of this jacket is good. And, it's also very warm.

Hanging from an endless knot of brass are garnet-colored glass and vintage brass findings. Some of them look like watch parts. These earrings are inspired by Chinese knots and Celtic knots.

Dark Denim Half Apron w/ Flower Print Cotton

This dark denim half apron features 3 ruffled pockets and a lovely flower print cotton (in brown, pink, turquoise, sage, periwinkle). It also has a vintage rhinestone button at each hip for towels, bags, etc. The buttons are a light pink with clear glass crystals in them.

The pockets measure 4.5 x 7.5 inches each. This apron also has a pencil pocket measuring roughly 3 x 5 inches. The apron measures 21 x 14.25. The 81 inch tie/waistband will fit a multitude of sizes and create a nice bow.

Dayglo Flower Wristlet with Zipper

This fabric is the scrap portion from another project I worked on. I'm so pleased to be able to use it in this way and not throw it out. Also, the zipper is from a destash found at a second-hand store. It has white and grey stripes with *bright* flowers all over (yellow, blue, green, turquoise). The zipper is grey and features a hand-wrapped glass bead pull. It measures 8 3/4 x 5 3/4 inches, with a strap of 13 inches, and an oshedesigns fabric tag. Lined in black. Both fabrics are cotton blend.

This awesome little wristlet can be used for so many purposes! I love these bags. I keep my papers, checkbook, and planner in one of these. And, if I need a smaller bag it's already in my purse! You could also use this for cosmetics or as your purse for a day/night out.

Psychadelic Half Apron - Orange and mutli

This is a half apron composed entirely of vintage material! The orange fabric is a cotton (or cotton blend) and the multi-colored applique and tie fabric is cotton from the 70s. The selvage edge says that it's been treated with Zepel stain resistor.

I love this crazy apron!

It has been sewn and top-stitched and the tie/waistband has been cut on the bias for a little stretch.

The two larger pockets (which are pleated) measure about 8 x 8 inches each. The center pocket measures about 8 x 7.5. The apron measures 23 x 16. The 71 inch tie/waistband will fit a multitude of sizes.

Lapis Lazuli and Vintage Earring Necklace

This necklace features 6 hand-wrapped lapis lazuli beads dangling off-center with a vintage rhinestone leaf earring as a focal point. The chain is recycled as well. The lobster clasp has another lapis bead and the whole shabang measures just over 17 inches long. All metal is silver-toned.

This is such a unique and fun necklace, one that you won't find anywhere else.

Blue and Green Bracelet and Earring Set

This set features lovely green ceramic beads with dots all over them (reminds me of the evil eye charms). There are also blue milk glass beads as well (which I found on a broken necklace on the ground!).

All metal on the earring is sterling silver. They measure 1 3/4 inches long.

The bracelet is strung on nylon-coated steel wire and measures just under 8 inches long (including the decorative, silver-toned toggle clasp).

The last pic is from before I switched out the hooks on the earrings. The other pictures are of the set you will receive.

This mod chocolate colored fabric features retro sunbursts all over, in different shades of yellow, green, red, and gold. Outer fabric is polyester and has the feel of canvas. The lining is a soft chocolate cotton and the zipper is a little lighter brown shade (from a thrift store destash). Features a handwrapped glass bead zipper pull. Serged and topstitched.

Measures about 7.5 x 5.75 inches with a 14 inch long strap.

Pink Rhinestone Vintage Brooch

This hefty gold tone brooch was probably made in the 50s or 60s. All of the pink glass rhinestones are in perfect condition. The largest stones measure about .5 inches across. The whole brooch measures about 2 inches across.

The back is in perfect working order. The faux pearls in the center show significant wear. They could easily be replaced.

There is no signature visible on this piece.

This wonderful leaf brooch is so charming. I almost decided to keep it, then remembered my already-too-big collection of brooches: ) This is a bunch of leaves with groups of green rhinestones. Each group of rhinestones has some missing. This is gold or brass plating that has worn off somewhat.

It is marked sterling on the back. I believe this is from the manufacturers Sterling Company (founded in 1906). It is NOT made of sterling silver.

A great vintage piece, probably from the 50s or 60s with a lot of shabby charm.

These are lovely gold tone star burst clip-on earrings (from the 50s or 60s I think). It seems that they are supposed to represent flowers, but I see sun burst/ star burst when I look at them. They are done in a filigree style and are marked with what looks like PENO.

I found this great red paisley vintage corduroy fabric at a second-hand shop and fell in love. I would guess that it's from the late 70s, early 80s. The wale on this fabric is very small (16 per inch).I lined this wristlet with a navy blue cotton blend (and added some interfacing as well). Salvaged red zipper features a hand wrapped metal and ceramic bead pull. Serged and topstitched.

Measures about 6.5 x 8.5 inches, with a 15 inch strap.

This awesome little wristlet can be used for so many purposes! I love these bags. I keep my papers, checkbook, and planner in one of these. And, if I need a smaller bag it's already in my purse! You could also use this for cosmetics or as your purse for a day/night out.

Vintage brass jump rings form a chainmaille suspension for flat copper dangles. On the copper hooks are small, dyed turquoise rounds. I love the mix of old and new here. These earrings would look great for day or night, casual or not.

Vintage Fabric Handmade Floral Red Half Apron

The main fabric of this pleated half apron is vintage. It's a thin cotton (or cotton blend) with a faux embroidery print. I would guess that this fabric is from the 70s (it's from Marcus Brothers). The red and white ric rac trim is also vintage. The red paisley for the waistband and pocket is a reproduction print, but works so well the vintage elements.

Measures about 25 x 19 inches with a 102 inch long waistband/tie. Features a double layer, rounded pocket. Please note, there are some light spot stains on this fabric. I placed the pocket over the largest of these stains. Since this was a small piece of never-to-be-found again vintage fabric, I felt that the stains detract very little from it's rare cuteness : )

This necklace is all sterling silver. The focal points are scrap pieces of sterling that I decided to re-use. When I hammered them, they formed into little abstract dangles.

The chain and clasp are new. The clasp features a hand-wrapped sterling connector. Measures about 14.5 inches long.

This feisty necklace features a pendant of carved soapstone, hand-wrapped with sterling silver wire. Strung on either side of the pendant are mahogany obsidian beads, coral beads, and champagne colored freshwater pearls. The chain and all hardware is sterling silver.
